We had intended to keep this as our family pharmacy however the pharmacy manually added an additional $20 charge to the prescription. Their explanation was that they were loosing money on this prescription so that is why they manually added this extra charge. Unfortunate.

Pretentious rude lady who were on a personal phone call and wasn't trying to be helpful. She wasn't even trying to hear what you have to say. Snapped, turned around, and walked away. Not helping someone in an urgent situation while they are in pain and needing simple assistance. Not only show no compassion, but straight up racist. No wonder their reviews are so bad. They are all pricks. And if you read my comment history I give credit to good people and good places. Just yesterday left an amazing review for amazing doctor's office so I'm not the type to write angry reviews but I've never been treated this badly this quickly in my life by a pretentious person who takes a one look at people and decide whether they are worthy of help or not. Considering they are a pharmacy and their job is to help sick people, they should definitely go out of business.

Incredibly disappointing experience. I called and asked if they had a medication in stock. They assured me many times they had it in stock and I could not have possibly been more clear about what medication I wanted. When my doctor called it in, the pharmacy said they didn’t have it and the employee was wrong. Just don’t believe them if they say they have your medication in stock.

I I was on my way to visit my daughter and I'd stop by my doctor's office for some lab work and continued on my trip. My doctor's office called and told me I needed to start an antibiotic being far from my regular pharmacies that don't have a branch in that area I went to Glen echo pharmacy where they not only help me maneuver the getting of prescription from my doctor's office they called and checked did everything they could to help me I couldn't be any more grateful

I called in, they confirmed the specific prescription and amount is in inventory, got my doctor to switch to this pharmacy, called back same day and now they tell me out of stock. Recommend new rule, never confirm you have medication. Tell customers you can't confirm.

Recommend for your prescriptions.I recently switched to Glen Echo pharmacy for my prescriptions and it is SUCH a better experience and easier than CVS or Safeway. My co pays are the same, and I get to speak to real people - who are nice- and I DON’T wait in line for 30 minutes to be told that my rx wasn’t filled and to go to the other window (to wait another 15 minutes) to tell that person my problem who says to call my doctors office.

Glen Echo Pharmacy is the epitome of shopping local. The customer service is top notch. They know who I am and what prescriptions my family takes. Parking is simple and I've never waited in a line with more than one other customer. Basically, the opposite of CVS.

My husband had Covid and needed Paxlovid quickly. Ron made sure we got it the same day. We are new clients and he didn’t even insist on our insurance information. His main concern was to help us. I had Covid too and was not able to drive. We will never forget Ron’s kindness.

My family is THROUGH going to CVS for same day scripts! Ron et al are helpful, thourough, and knowledgeable. No waiting in line just to be told, "we haven't processed your script yet", after my PCP faxed, then called it in an hour prior!!

Glen Echo Pharmacy is owned by a very caring and compassionate man, Ron Sinker.This pharmacy and Ron give old fashioned, very personal and individual service.Ron and his warm and professional staff know each patient. He knows their particular needs and caters to each client.I have never heard the word no when I have had a request.Delivery is always prompt and accurate.There is also other wonderful merchandise. Make up,lotions and potions.When I purchased a humidifier, the delivery was last minute and around 10pm.The lady who delivered it came in and set it up for me.I cannot recommend this Pharmacy and staff highly enough.
