I always service my car in woodmont Exxon/Bethesda Auto Repair.I couldn't be happier with the experience.The stuff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable,explaining the necessary repairs clearly without any technical jargon. The quality of there work is outstanding and my car is running in a excellent.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy car repair.

Wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. Trying to rip customers off by lying about work that needs to be done. Not the first time I’ve seen this. Hopefully someone shuts these criminals down
They are now harassing my wife by sending texts to her from random numbers. Will be calling the police, again.
Update multiple other state inspectors to include the state police of Maryland have confirmed my vehicle did not have the problems, the owner claimed it did and my vehicle was passed

Avoid this place at all costs. These guys try to scam my dad. He went there to register a car, paid and told them he’d left his car for 2 hours because he had to take a uber to pick up the car recently registered for my brother. Owner said it was ok. When he came back, there was a boot on his car and the owner told him he had to pay 150$ to get off the boot that HE installed. So dishonest.

The people that own the auto shop are crooks - my father came here and they were extremely rude to him. I wouldn’t trust them with my car.

Car wash - it’s not a car wash, it just sprays water. Nothing actually cleans the car. My car is as dirty as it was before, now it’s just wet and dirty.

Came back to $3K of repairs on my car to pass state inspection. One of the items was a part I had replaced one week before. Now I see why this is the lowest rated mechanic in the area.

They always do good work, and they stand behind it. If something isn't right they fix it. My husband and I trust them to always be fair, and they will look for the least expensive fix... they never try to upsell or make a more expensive job. Their work is as trustworthy as they are!

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs
I could give 0 star If I could .
I recently visited this car inspection place, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The receptionist was incredibly rude when I called to ask if my car was ready . Really condescending behavior . But the real issue was with the owner. He tried to convince me that I needed to pay $1,500 for repairs to pass the inspection, even though my car was in great condition. There’s a 30-day window to fix any issues after a failed inspection, but he threatened to charge me again if I didn't fix the "issues" at his shop.
When I called out the owner on his dishonesty, he completely lost it—started yelling and acting like he'd never been accused of such a thing before. After reading other reviews, it’s clear dishonesty is a common problem here. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere trustworthy.

As many others have shared, this place is dishonest and unprofessional, but I think its potentially a local cartel.
What was interesting me was their arrogance when the main guy said "We have no shortage of customers, we don't care if you come to us or not (for car inspection)". As strange as that is, I toured around only to find that they were the only place that could do these inspections at the time.
If the wealthiest part of Washington DC has car inspection cartels, that would be a testament to a broken or corrupt political system, and no wonder that inflation is out of control.

They were literally a godsend. My schedule created the most inconvenient time crunch to get an AC fixed in this 100 degree heat, and no other shops were able to do it. Mohammed was beyond helpful and drove for miles to find the special part that I needed and get it fixed for me in time. I could not begin to thank them enough
