This cvs is one of the worst ones I’ve been to. Feels like a war zone in a 3rd world country.

Very long wait times, every time. Pharmacy has three “pick up” registers, but they never staff more than one. Pharmacy workers—and store workers— do not speak clear, proper English.

On July 5, 2024 at 10:40 pm Jason E the closing guy come to me to tell me I couldn’t use money gram because it was to late I drove 30 mins to this CVS there is no signage’s that specify at what time money gram close. I feel like he didn’t want to do his job and came aggressively talking to me. This is very unprofessional and if CVS has a timeline for money gram you should have it in a corporate sign. Don’t offer a service u are not willing to provide.

Really poor customer service from some of the cashiers at this store. Without the desire to work and always questioning why help is sought when looking for a product or paying. ?

The pharmacists, clerks, and employees at this location are absolutely insufferable and have no customer service training. They are extremely rude and short when/ if you are able to get a hold of them on the phone because they put you on hold for long periods of time. They have no knowledge on prescription refills and do not care about customers. I do not recommend this pharmacy location, and I will be changing pharmacy locations soon.

This pharmacy was a disaster years ago, so I switched to Safeway pharmacy, but this week one of my father’s prescriptions was sent to this CVS pharmacy, and I discovered today that nothing has improved. They simply don’t seem to give a damn about patients, or have any professional integrity as pharmacists. Safeway pharmacy across the street is actually a world away, in terms of outstanding customer service & the pharmacists’ professional standards. Kudos to Safeway, and a warning to stay away from this CVS.

After 10 years of struggles with the CVS pharmacy on Arlington Rd in Bethesda, today was the last straw. Not sure if this CVS hires new grads, bottom of the class, or maybe our education system is failing us. Either way we can no longer deal with pharmacists that are inept at filling prescriptions!

Consistently poor service. They are generally rude to many customers and it’s a management problem. Management can assist employees to lead with kindness and empathy especially for us senior citizens. The prescription texts are often incorrect and then they give you an attitude, make up stories, and shift blame.
The culture behind that counter is unhealthy.
Opinion: Staff need training, they need more staff, and they must be educated in customer service, patience, and kindness- CVS must remember we have choices.
Customer service in this place must improve.

Unfortunately, the corporate approach across multiple CVS stores that I've visited in the northeast is to cut pharmacy hours, understaff the pharmacy, and institutionalize non-answering of phone calls (that I experience both as a healthcare provider and as a consumer). I suspect that the remaining staff are underpaid too, so they don't seem to care a wit about servicing the customer.

This pharmacy is pretty awful. The staff are okay, couple of them are not and pretty condescending. But the head pharmacist (appears he is that) is really rude in my personal experience and in observing his interactions with others. Guess understand they are very busy but a little more compassion towards their customers would be humane, after all they are probably navigating health problems. I transferred my scripts and would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

This pharmacy has consistently shown a lack of efficiency and promptness. Despite being told to return after a few minutes, the wait time is often extended to an hour. Even after waiting for an hour, they still request an additional 30 minutes. This has been a recurring issue that I have encountered multiple times.

Horrible service. Got an alert saying my child's prescription was ready. They gave me an empty bag (without bothering to explain, but evidently the prescription wasn't ready) and told me to wait. Once I got the prescription, I left, only to discover later that it was incorrect. When I called to ask them about it, they put me on hold for almost half an hour until closing time, when they turned off the phones. I have been going to this location for years and have even defended them despite their bad service. But this was a new low. I will not be going back.

The prescription ready fill system is totally messed up. A week ago, I called to refill two prescriptions that I needed within a few days, but it took a week to refill. At the same time they filled three prescriptions for which I still have one to two months supply. In addition, I never received any text messages about these. five prescriptions. When I complained at the store, none of the staff would take responsibility and blamed the problem on the “computer guy.”

Severely understaffed and understocked store. Long lines at the pharmacy cause long auto lines for parking. Get your health needs elsewhere.
