This story perfectly sums up how this CVS does not care at all about customers: the sign on the door says walk-ins welcome for vaccines. But if you go to the pharmacy, you will find out that walk-ins are definitely NOT welcome. But they leave the sign up anyway. Thanks for nothing CVS!

They were unable to find prescription that my doctor had phoned in about five hours before. I was asked to go to another line and they found the prescription but then I was bounced from line to line. It took about an hour to get a prescription. Totally disorganized. The CVS in Chevy Chase DC is infinitely better. Avoid this place if you can.

Typically I never think to check the reviews on my pharmacy before I send my prescriptions there, nor do I take those reviews seriously. But this place really deserves the rating it has. They are horrendously understaffed to the point that it takes them days and days to fill my prescriptions let alone pick them up. Even when the line is out the door they have one register open. I’ve been coming here for a year for my prescriptions but I just don’t think I can do this anymore because it’s a half-hour ordeal, minimum, every time. I could probably walk to the second-nearest CVS in that time and it would probably be less frustrating.

Ridiculous this pharmacy even exists.Called to refill an Rx. Will be ready by noon.Show up 6pm. It’ll be another 1/2 hour till ready.Nevermind, I’ll just pick it up tomorrow am, that OK? Yes. Will be readyNext day go to pickup. Oh-we don’t have it. CVS national backorder. Never had it.But waste your life and come in here 3 times for no reason, you got time, right?Still no medication.No wonder every 5th person is losing their ever loving mind in line here.Boycott CVS, take your Rxs somewhere else. They don’t give a damn about anybody.Can I possibly leave zero stars?

Tried calling today to speak to someone at the pharmacy. Waited for 30 minutes and was disconnected when someone picked up. Tried again and was on hold for 20 minutes. Nobody ever picked up. The staff seems overwhelmed and the service is not acceptable

I do not recommend this location. This location is a disgrace. I just went to pick up a prescription for an ointment. Well the lady at the pick up counter shouted out the name of the medication I was picking up in front of everyone. So much for professionalism and confidentiality. The White lady before me she spoke to in hushed tones, but blurted out the name of my medication in front of the other costumers. To bad as a Black doctor I did not get the same respect. I had to ask her why is she talking so loud. My doctor called in the medication from 10 am and at 7 30 pm when I went to pick up she told me it is not ready and that I need to wait another hour. I asked why was it not ready and she said they were short staff. She is telling me the doctor that they were short staff to prepare a small ointment that was called in from morning. Just shameful.

Every time I visit the CVS it is the worst experience ever. I have been shopping at CVS for 20+ years. That used to be my favorite place to go and shop. This service and employees make me dread even going in there. They are rude non-helpful and Just tacky. I have never experience such treatment in a CVS. They are not knowledgeable of their coupons, products, registers, etc. they do not try to D escalate any problem as they call the manager right away because they do not want to deal with the customer. I can go on and on but I digress. Thank you..

CVS can improve customer experience by hiring more people from underrepresented minority groups and paying their employees better salaries because these people go over and beyond to help all their customers with such care and compassion it is unbelievable!!

I don’t know if all cvs’ are becoming this way but I need to transfer my prescriptions somewhere else. The people are nice but the service is extremely slow! It has been this way so many times and I am a very patient person. Waiting in the drive thru with only 2 cars for an hour is not normal!!

What is wrong with cvs all the locations! Go to the minute clinic and they prescribe something they don’t even have at their own pharmacy so you drive 20 mins away to a location that has it and we’re told they would expedite only to get and they say it cold take 30 mins to fill. How are all the cvs in this area so inefficient? It used to not be the case. You can be in pain and sick and just want your meds and go home and it’s a 3-4 hour issue. Shame on yourself cvs! Literally the most efficient, work on your system and employees and overall performance!

Super rude people at the pharmacy. They put you on hold for 15-20 minutes, then yell at you and hang up. The management should look into this conduct. They should not allow untrained people handle phones and customers.

We popped into grab some sunscreen. There was a good selection, and we were able to find what we needed. Quick, easy stop that got us back on our way again.
