Every area has its hidden gems. Cornucopia is that gem in Bethesda. My personal recommendations are the foods made in-house. Incredible bread, sandwiches, lasagna, ravioli, and the best cannoli I've ever had. There are a ton of great Italian specialty products to make your next home-cooked meal delicious and authentic.Santino is super friendly and helpful. Support this local small business!

I found Cornucopia today. I've been looking for Cannolis for months. They are simply amazing Cannolis. The owner was a lovely human. The store has some amazing goods inside. I'm looking forward to returning to buy other goods.Shukran (شكراً ?

Great subs and cool Italian made packaged goods! Homemade dessert looks delicious but I only got the Italian with pastrami.

Most delicious tuna hoagie I've had in a long time. 10/10 recommend. I was skeptical upon walking into the store, but it's a hidden gem for sure.

Excellent homemade bread for sandwiches, which one might argue is what makes the sandwich. Don't forget to grab a cannoli to go with.Prices are a tad high, but it is Bethesda and everything is imported from Italy.

You want an experience? Visit this place ASAP! The owner is so unbelievably kind and truly enjoys sharing simple, beautiful food with his customers. He will hand crank his deli slicer and create the most delicious sandwiches. Picked up some coffee from different regions of Italy. Just an amazing experience and place. I wish I had this place back home. Very warm and welcoming.

Such a gift to have this extraordinary little shop in our neighborhood. The fresh food is delicious (holy cannoli!) and the pantry offerings are extensive, high-quality, and unique. Your family will thank you profusely if you bring home any of their incredibly offerings; I experienced this myself. Businesses like this are rare nowadays and it would be sad to lose such a gem. Please go visit!

I always come back here every time I'm back in DC. Absolute top quality sandwiches and ingredients. They also have a cute little market with all the Italian specialities you'd ever want. Great owner/staff as well. If you're in the mood for an Italian sandwich, this is the place.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. This is one of those "real" italian places that looks down its nose at any americanized version of their cuisine. And with good reason. While waiting for the "sandwich artist" to take his time crafting my pastrami sandwich I browsed the wide selection of imported Italian cakes, candies, coffees, pasta, sauces, olives and other goodies. The sansdwich tool quite a bit longer than one would expect but I kept my patience by hoping it would be worth the wait. It was! The bread alone was worth the wait, crispy on the outside and delicately tender inside. Ive never had a better baguette. Now onto the toppings: pastrami slices so thin they melt in the mouth, robust slices of a nutty and buttery provolone type cheese, tomatoes that tasted of August although it is November, and a delicious and slightly sweet tapenade pulled it all together. Prices are a tad higher than one would expect but the quality you receive justifies the expense. You truely get what you pay for here. I will gladly return on my next stop in this area.
