What a nightmare; avoid at all costs! Opened a CD and thought all was well. Received a follow-up email from the bank stating I still needed to complete my application, so I followed their instructions, and to my surprise a second, UNWANTED CD was opened!! Their staff said it's up to me to undo and treated me with utter disrespect for their mistake. This will cost me a stop payment fee and hours of unresolved hassle. I didn't receive an apology \\u0026 was told this happens all the time per Mike LaVerne. Pathetic!

After reading the reviews and the rating I have decided not to invest with Forbright Bank. The CEO must come forward and tell us why the reviews are so bad to make a convincing case for anyone to even consider investing with Forbright. As an encouragement to Forbright I have increase their rating and hoping that CEO will explain why their customer service is so poor and what they have don since 2021 to improve that.

I have made the payment of $12000 to Daily Caller account from forbright bank. Bank isn't releasing the funds for no reason. The transaction was completed on 31st March but neither the receiver nor the bank is coordinating. Terrible response

I called in advance to make sure that I had all the right documents and permissions to process a large transaction drawn on a check from this bank. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. I waited patiently and was advised that I would be able to proceed, so I drove OVER TWO HOURS to go to this branch and open an account. When I arrived my transaction was not able to be processed for the EXACT REASON I called in advance to get approval for. So either there was a lack of due diligence when I called in, or they just wanted to get me in the door at any cost. This mistake cost me approximately 5 hours of driving and resulted in me NOT attaining necessary funds in a timely manner. The apology I was given is grossly inadequate to compensate for my time and inconvenience. I was offered “good luck” on the way out which in that situation is a kick in the behind on.the way out the door.

If there was choice for ZERO star, one star is too general for business like this bank. It took them over six months to close a loan that was initiated November 2020, and until this morning, they are requiring more recent documents due to the delay on the closing date. I had given them a chance back in March and naively thinking they could close it without further delay. No proactive communication and lack of accountability overall has now wasted my time and all the preparations. Truly hope all to avoid this bank with extra hassle and unprofessional management.

Wow! Not sure where to start. In mid November we started working with a loan officer Allen Tabaka with Congressional bank recommended by Zillow. Started off bad when our loan officer had to scramble over a and even wanted us to apply on-line so we could get a pre-approval letter on Dec 19. Now we have jumped thru hoops to provide all needed information from us and we are stuck sitting in a hotel while they again scramble to get documents to our title company who is just waiting to have us sign. I CANNOT BELIEVE zillow endorsed and recommended Congressional bank as a lender. RUN AWAY IF YOU NEED A LOAN AND DONE ON TIME. WORST LENDER EVER! Why is it taking almpst two months to get our loan complete. Maybe because they had to let go of the loan agent that was employed by them and not able to perform his job? And we suffer the stress and extra troubles for it. Thank you so much for coming thru at the end but....... Currently February 10th and hoping to go home!!!!!

Started to work with a loan officer Allen Tabaka from Congressional bank in November 2020 to obtain pre-approval to make an offer on a home we were searching for. When the time came that we found the home we wanted to make an offer on we called our loan officer and he had to scramble to get us a pre-approval letter and even asked us to apply on-line which we had already done back im mid Nobember when we started all this. Anyways long story short after over a month and now it is January 28, 2021 and we have sol our home and have to be out by February 8, 2021 , Congressional bank dumped us off to another loan officer now is telling us they are so sorry but Allen Tabaka no longer works for Congressional bank and it now sounds like we are starting all over which will put us out of a home because of their employee screwed up and could not even order an appraisel back at the beginning of January, WOW, thanks Congressional bank for stressing us out beyond my worst nightmare of moving!!

We can't say enough great things about our experience thus far with Congressional bank. The personal touch and attention that we have received has been amazing. Their team has made us feel taken care of and really appreciate the support they have given us. Special shout out to Charles who has personally helped us!
