Cindy was a wealth of knowledge, so kind and adept at dealing with multiple customers at once. The store was well-organized and had a great selection of shoes. Cindy is a gem and I know she’ll continue to steer me in the right direction!

Wow. I went to check out some On shoes, a brand I had never tried before and I told the sales person this is a new brand for me, so I started with my normal athletic shoe size in most other brands and based on how they fit, requested 1/2 size up and then again another 1/2 size. At this point, the sales person said "let me measure your feet because you are wasting my time." Unbelievable.Good selection of shoes, but horrible customer service today. Never want to judge because you don't know what is going on in someone's life, but if he is not able to separate personal stress from a customer-facing job, then he is in the wrong job. I sure hope he isn't the store manager who sets the tone for all other staff in that store.

The man (can't even refer to him as a gentleman) who opened the store on Sunday, November 6, 2022 was so unbelievably rude. I did find the shoes I wanted in my size, but decided to take my business elsewhere.

If you want the best service and the most comfy shoes ever, then go to this store. I always feel good about myself after I go to this place. Thank you who ever created this place because my feet and body love these shoes.

Amazing Experience, Ms. Cindy helped and gave me a tutorial for my new Birkenstocks. My feet were in great hands. Everyone in the store was very welcoming and helpful. I will be back soon.

Apparently the store's hours are wrong. Showed up at the Bethesda location at 5:30 after seeing online they were open til 6. Doors locked. Employees in the store came out and said sorry we close at 5. According to him several of their stores all close at 5. I don't have a problem with you changing your hours, but post it so it's correct on the internet. Poor business practices!

Went here today excited to find a new pair of running shoes. And the sales women was very rude, not helpful at all, and kept telling me I needed to find my shock absorb-ion first. I clearly had no idea what that meant and she kept saying in the rudest way possible. I would never suggest anyone coming back here and we took our business somewhere else in Bethesda.We would give 0 stars if we could.

My partner an I walked into the store on March 8th in hopes to purchase a pair of ON shoes and had seen their display had enough of a selection. Unbeknown to us we walked into the store at at 4:50pm and their closing time is 5pm. We looked at shoes and ask for an explanation of a few of their ON models and quickly chose a pair. They brought it and my partner tried it, but did not like it. He wanted to try another pair. As soon as my partner said he did not like the first pair, the second attendant in the store said out loud, "let him go. He doesn't like the shoe, let him go". We had come fully prepared to buy the pair of shoes, and found his comment really odd. At that point the attendant that was helping us said. "I'm sorry guys but we close at 5pm." It was 5:06pm. At that point, we picked up and left. We would not recommend this store. Too sad as it is our neighborhood store... but we will likely not be back.

I am tall, a little older, just moved to DC and will now be taking the bus and metro into town each day for new job. I need supportive shoes. Well I found them and amazing customer service at comfort one shoes. Michelle was the most helpful shoe salesperson I have ever worked with. I will be back. Please check out their store in Rockville too!

I had a horrible experience at the Rockville store, so I went to this location to return my $200 purchase (I wanted to avoid the lady at the other store). Eddy was a godsend. I was worried about doing a big return, and he was so kind and sympathetic about my experience at the other store. I ended up buying two pairs of Vionic shoes that were in clearance (the brand I actually had originally gone to Comfort One Shoes to find!) after returning the shoes that the Rockville sales lady pushed me into buying. Eddy made me feel much more confident in my shoe decisions, and he reaffirmed that I had been right at the other store (I need firm arch support!), and the shoes I was looking for were correct for my needs. It was such a good experience after my negative one at Rockville, I know I will return to this specific location (hopefully to find Eddy!) next time I'm looking to try on orthotic shoes.

Don't understand why the salesperson was snappy and petty when customers ask straightforward questions...especially since there was only one customer in the store - me. Rather pay more for shoes elsewhere. Ridiculous.

A close friend of mine was really excited to purchase a pair of shoes that he has been wanting for while now. Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted by " Get away from the window, those are for display" We were all thrown so off guard and felt extremely uncomfortable being there. I have been in customer service for years and this was by far the worst experience. I would strongly suggest hiring someone who is enthusiastic to greet customers and enjoys helping others.
