This is just about a used car buying experience which is always interesting. We had been told the car we were interested in was being repaired and that they would let us know before our 6pm appointment if the car was complete. At 3:30pm we were told the car would be ready. We get to our appointment at 6pm and are told the car had been sold. Now, we had spoken to sales people and other representatives multiple times that day. They had our numbers and could have easily called us to tell us that the car had been sold. At the end of the day this is just rude.

Nice People at Chevy Chase Acura but They would not sell me a 2023 Integra that did not have a $1,000+ protection package and their MSRP pricing was contingent of using Acura's Financing. They were straight forward but not willing to budge to meet me somewhere in the middle. I was willing to either do the financing or the extra protection package but not both. I went in to quickly put a deposit down on a vehicle but we couldn't come to an agreement and it was a waste of my time to be fair a waste of their time too. I found more negotiable dealerships in Virginia that let me use outside financing, not add any extras, and not charging an MSRP adjustment. To be transparent buying a car on VA I believe the standard processing fee is around $500 higher. Adding protection packages that are not requested and making financing through Acura in my opinion is just a backwards way to raise the price. I understand that cars are in low supply right now but did Walmart raise the price of Toilet Paper when supply chains were strained.

There is nothing wrong with the Acura brand and everything wrong with Chevy Chase Acura! This dealership is both shady and incompetent. They overcharge with a smile and lie with a denial. Can you believe they kept our shiny new car for three months. While in service they broke in through the drivers window because they couldn't find the key or take the time to call me to come by and unlock it with my second key. Bending the window frame and scratching the door trim outside and inside. I have the photos. They stole my OEM rear Acura black chrome emblem I bought that I had left in the car to install later. When confronted I found it was said to be a warranty repair item sent back to Acura. How? It was my personal property. How can they replace the emblem, send one back, lose mine, and claim three equals two? The service tech understood at the time and ordered my stolen replacement. When I went in today to get it back the GM lied, rudely dismissive and refusing to refund or replace it. Chevy Chase Acura are thieves!

Told us my sisters car would be finished at 5pm we get there at 5 and they say "oh 20 more minutes." It's now 6:05 and we told them to just bring the car out ready or not. Disappointing service.

Made an appointment for an oil change .... Appointment time was 12:30pm ... got there 12:17 .... Checked car in ... went to waiting room. This was my first time here so I was like let's see how they do. 2:10pm nothing !!!! I text the service advisor and ask on the ETA And I get a list of repairs that they recommend @ 2:15.... My car had not even been attended to 2 hrs in until I text to ask on the ETA. I do expect to wait , but what's the point of an appointment? I was running late so I walked down to pick up car oil changed or not .... Took 10 min to figure who had my RO... it was terrible and the service guy was kinda rude ( he did not know I could hear him and he said ...she can wait.) I will not be going back. Communicate with the customers as they wait 2hrs is too long to have nothing done when one has an appointment... disappointed !

I purchased a 2015 Acura TLX from the Used Car division of Chevy Chase Acura. I'm just going to say this .. STAY AWAY from these guys. Mike Dodson was my salesman and when I tell you I was deceived from the time of purchase. I won't talk about how the sales manager pretty much had me wait a week before informing me that it was an issue with my financing after I had already put over 2k down on a pre owned vehicle. I was given the run around by the dealership until I called the financing company to sort the situation out myself. Secondly, I had the car no less than a month when my brakes had to be changed then I had to bring it back two weeks later for a servicing that cost me almost $200 out of pocket. Mind you I purchased the recommended warranty on the vehicle so that if anything went wrong with the vehicle within 40k miles I would be covered. That was BS... not to mention Mike Dodson stated that an inspection was done on my vehicle before they could sell it to me and assured that everything had been inspected and checked out to the best of their standard. That also was a lie. When I brought these issues up to the salesman I was blown off and pretty much told that I brought a pre owned vehicle so what else did I expect. Honestly I understand that it's a risk to buy anything used but when you are guaranteed that things have been checked out and not even a month into the car you are having break issues and maintenance issues.. it's just down right wrong and deceiving. Last but not least just last month which would be the third month I've had the vehicle I was involved in an accident and when I went to change my spare tire there wasn't even one in the trunk ( which was not mentioned at the time of purchase). When I called Mike Dodson about it he basically transferred my call to parts and service where they quoted me $350.00 for a spare that should've originally came with the vehicle. I'm just trying to help anyone looking for a car and thinks this dealership is an option. It's NOT!! THEY ONLY WANT THE SALE AND YOUR MONEY!! Don't TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

Good: clean showroom and my salesman was easy to work with. Bad: SERVICE .. SERVICE ... SERVICE, where do I begin. I bought the 2021 TLX Aspec, and like all new models that come out, some will have minor problems that could easily be resolved through service. However, you expect your car to be returned to you with the problem corrected. This is NOT the case at this location, they will go above and beyond to prove they care less about customer service and even less about your vehicle. Honestly it's quite fascinating to see how they never cease to amaze me with how many times they fail at meeting the very basic terms of our agreement. The terms are actually simple, receive vehicle, fix problem without creating other problems, then return vehicle back to the owner; done. It wouldn't be right to blame ACURA as a whole for some of it's subpar employees. Though I will propose that a quality control team may not be a bad idea to initiate. This will ensure the quality of service meets the standards that need to be achieved in order to preserve it's prestige, improve customer retention rate and weed out any undesirables. Food for thought.

This review is for Yery Sanchez in service. I called in after having a horrible experience with Rosenthal Acura and Yery has helped us so much with setting up our service appointment. He was so responsive and friendly. Not only did they come and pick up our car for service, they also dropped it off to our home. I will be sending my family and friends to him from now on. Thank you thank you thank you!

My wife and I recently bought a 2022 MDX ASpec from Chevy Chase. Our sales consultant, David Petty, provided us with sensational customer service. Before deciding and during our initial discussion, he mentioned that he would ensure that he was providing us with the BEST offer. Of course, I had to look around at different dealerships in Northern VA and found they were not really concerned with trying to gain my business so they easily brushed me off. He worked with us and made our process the EASIEST we have ever had and was dedicated to making sure that he gained not just our business, but our trust. I don't often write reviews as they are purely subjective, but my experience with David and the rest of the team at Chevy Chase is something I wont forget.

After over 8 months of shopping around I finally decided to buy a new car. I always knew I wanted the new TLX. I stop 3 times at Chevy Chase Acura and on the 3rd time I left in a brand new 2021 TLX. Thanks to Ralph the sales manager for making the process smooth, seem less and Efficient. Chevy Chase Acura got a new customer for life.

Brought my car into the dealership a couple months ago to get something removed from the car due to a leakage problem. We never received the parts and we were told we would get a call in order to come pick them up. We never received the call back nor the parts. So we thought we'd come to the shop in order to get the parts, but they're now telling they can no longer provide us the parts nor do they "make them anymore." No respect nor reliability. Save your time and make the trip to the Laurel's dealership location.

Several weeks ago we traveled an hour or so to Chevy Chase Acura to purchase a specific and highly desirable used car that they had in stock. We had made an appointment and upon our arrival the sales manager greeted us warmly and immediately showed us the car we were interested in. The car was immaculate and the test drive showed that it was in perfect condition. The sales manager, with the help of his staff, guided us through the necessary paperwork and we were quickly out of the dealership with our new (to us) car. From first greeting to final send-off, everyone (and I mean everyone, including the housekeeping staff) was helpful and friendly making what might have been a long, difficult process easy and manageable. We will certainly be returning to Chevy Chase Acura as the need arises. I have held off on posting this review for a few weeks to be sure the car performed as well over time as it did that first day at Chevy Chase Acura. I am happy to report that the car continues to meet. all of our expectations and I suspect it will for many years to come. All in all, a great experience at Chevy Chase Acura!

I wouldn't mind to deal with him again because he worked with me tirelessly with me to make sure i get a good deal. Long story short, i tried to get an Acura MDX 2020 from them so i took an audi in tried to see if i could get a good deal for trade in but they tried to low ball me. they gave me 16k for my audi a3 but with carvana they gave me ~22k.

I've bought a lot of cars over the years and I've walked out on more salesman than I can count. We went through the Costco car buying program which is unique in that they only work with dealerships that meet their requirements. Not sure what that means, but I do know that none of the dealerships I have found to be grimy were not available through their program so I assume that is why Chevy Chase Acura was on their list and I had such a fantastic experience. Here's the bottom line. I go into a dealership expecting to have to go over every single line of every single document to uncover what they are trying to slip in there just to get to the finance officer which is where the real fight begins. I get it, they are there to make money, but I hate the game that is played. There was absolutely no gamesmanship, no hidden costs, no pressure to upsale, no headaches at all. The only thing that we had to "work out" was the value of my trade-in and that literally took minutes. Giovanni was our finance officer and we were done in about 15 minutes and it may have been faster if I hadn't screwed up my salary information on the credit application. The biggest thing is that I bought this vehicle (2022 MDX) just weeks after it was released and its selling like crazy. Dealerships cannot keep them on the lots. Anyone in the market right now knows that the supply issue is screwing up prices and many dealerships from other brands are marking up their vehicles because demand is greater than supply. We were looking at the Telluride which is a lot of vehicle for about $47K. Local dealerships are trying to sell them for $59K because of the situation right now and they refuse to negotiate. I don't know if our experience was unique because of the Costco program, but this is the first place we're going when we look for our next vehicle.

Thank you so much for helping me and wife on getting our new 2022 Acura MDX. You guys were very professional and helpful. My very first experience at Chevy Chase Acura was a 10/10 I definite recommend everyone to visit them. You won't be disappointed. My sales representative Mike Jones was really helpful and knowledgeable. Ralph Kolius (Sales Manager) was extremely helpful. Thank you again and I will definitely come to you for any future purchases! You guys are the best in our region!!!
