The staff is incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to help me and were friendly throughout. I always have a great experience when I go to this location!

I want to make all customers and future customers know about the predatory ways of Capital One Credit Cards. Apparently I wasn't notified of my $39 membership fee in January and was then assessed a $25 past due fee plus interest. In February I was assessed $45 fee plus interest for non-payment. When I was sent a notice from Credit Karma that my credit score dropped 40 points, after having a perfect payment record for the last 10 years, I called Capital One.The young lady got the fee and interest removed for February, however they would not change my credit report nor remove the Jan charge. We are talking about $39 membership fee, for a card I don't use and have had for years. Why don't I use it, because the interest rate 28%. Capital One has no one to speak to except the one person I spoke to on the phone and no Sr manager to speak to. This is pathetic customer service.I have two bank accounts, another card with them and this is how they treat their customers. Oh and if you want to complain to their credit dispute department, you have to send all your personal identity information by US Mailfor them to even review it. If you aren't getting the message about how much Capital One sucks, I hope you do now. Closing accounts just makes your credit score worse....

CapitalOne has no idea how to do banking for a family. Just set up an account for our under 18 child only to find out only one parent has access to the account to make transfers!!! And even for our over 18 child, because we set them up with a separate CapitalOne account, we can't set up automatic transfers because CapitalOne won't let us set up another CapitalOne account as an external account that can accept transfer. So we have to do Zelle. I'm sorry, but this is amazingly stupid. We're moving back to the DC area and, as soon as the move is done, we'll be looking to end all (3 checking, 3 savings, auto loan, and credit card) our dealings with CapitalOne.

Great! Love the old school décor of the bank and great service. I have personal acct.. opening a small business account, and plan to move all 3 business accounts to this branch specifically! Mr. Alami provides amazing customer service.

Capital One Direct converted my online account. It's a new program. My international ATM withdrawal fees used to be $0 + 0% + partial refund of foreign bank's fees. Now it's $2 + 3% + no refund. The customer service reps are rude, as well. Chase has much more professional, courteous customer service reps. Capital One Direct sucks now. They have absolutely nothing to offer, just shitty products and shitty service.

Capital One has been awful to deal with! One of their agents made a mistake and close one my accounts. It took me many months, numerous calling on my part, letters sent to CO president- never heard from- all the while they kept saying, " we are sorry" yet never fixing their mistake! Do not use Capital One!!! They have no integrity or customer service!! Don't get fooled by the advertisements, many hidden fees!

DO NOT USE THE ATMs AT THIS LOCATION IF YOUR NOT USING A CAPITAL ONE CARD. THE ATM MACHINE WILL KEEP YOUR CARD AND THE BANK STAFF WILL NOT ASSIST YOU IN RETRIEVING YOUR CARD FROM IT GETTING LOCKED IN THE MACHINE. A few days ago, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to stop at my bank so I went to withdraw some cash using my Bank of America debit card as I've done many times here at the drive through and at the walk-up ATM and halfway through the process, a message popped up that said: "We are sorry, but we have encountered a problem with this ATM machine and can no longer complete your transaction. Please try again later." My BoA card was never released or ejected from the ATM machine so I went inside to the bank and the bank teller told me that they can't help me get it back unless it's a Capital One card and that I just need to request a new card from my bank. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I will never use any Capital One ATM ever again, nor will I ever consider banking with Capital One in any capacity. I highly recommend you don't either.

If you desire a banking experience that is devoid of anything that could even loosely be called "customer service" then Capital One Bank is for you! Dana # 5888576, Allie #WHF946, and Jeremy (aka Romeo) #REZ477 have swallowed the Capital One Bank kool-aid. To close an account, I apparently need to call on multiple occasions and may be subject to fees, even though I called today with the request. I asked that the account be closed when the check I wrote and depostied today clears and balance is zero. (Zero - as in the number of stars they deserve to be rated.) What's in my wallet? NOT Capital One. Jennifer Garner - smarten up!

Melissa is always the most helpful, professional, and kind! I have had multiple poor experiences at the downtown Bethesda location and the McLean, VA location across from Tysons. However, I always feel comfortable to bring our business's 10 accounts to Melissa and this branch.

Do not open a CapitalOne 360 account. I went to order checks and asked for a temporary check. I was informed that they have not offered temporary checks in 3 years. I was rudely told by the teller that I could get a cashier's check, which I did not want, nor did I want to pay for it, or I could wait on receiving my checks. I then went to call CapitalOne to receive support on my 360 account and was passed along to 2 different phone agents because none of them were trained to support me, and then hung up on after 30 minutes. I called back and had an additional wait time of 15 minutes only to have the next agent not be able to support me because the 360 account is a new account and he did not have the training. This bank has terrible customer service! I'm closing my account tomorrow.

ZERO STARS! I was with the bank for 20+ years. I had car loans, credit cards, etc with them. I never had a payment late or any payments returned, etc. This bank closed my account when I paid off their account. When I asked them why they closed my account they lied and said I had excessive returned payments. When I asked them to produce these returned payments and their dates they said they did not have access. I guess they were mad that I paid off my accounts and that they couldn't make more money off me. Beware before using Capital One for any banking needs. American Express and Bank of America gives rewards and excellent customer service for your credit card needs.
