I miss the old park playground, I had so many great memories there. Now the place is unrecognizable and weirdly empty. I went here as a kid and loved it so much, brought my own kids here recently and they were pretty bored.

Wonderful large and small dog park, plus a train to ride on. Plenty of picnic tables, well-shaded. The large dog park has rocks to climb in the middle and a wonderful vibe to it.Restrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: Dog parks!!!

Our favorite time of the year is here! We love to take our babies to the Halloween Eye Spy train ride, such a fun 15 minute interactive ride. ???

We go for the dog park. I would have marked this a 5, but the latch on the interior gate seemed to be bot capable of locking at my last visit. Our dogs love it there. Plenty of running/ ball chasing space, access to water, and friendly pooches.

Nestled in the DC area, Cabin John Regional Park is an urban oasis. From lush trails to play areas for kids, it's got something for everyone. The tranquility of the park provides a perfect escape from city hustle. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a family looking for a fun day out, or someone who just wants to breathe some fresh air, this place won't disappoint. Highly recommend for a rejuvenating outing!Playground: A lot of fun stuff

Kids love the train park very much. We go and do the spring search game on the train every year. They also have a nice Halloween set up.Side note: If you like Tai Chi the DMV Tai Chi assotiation meets there a few times during the summer.

It's simply a great park. A large number of rentable pavilions are present, with walking/hiking trails throughout. There's a dog park space separated from the open areas, a miniature train that weaves through the inside of the park, and huge kids play area. And it's only a few minutes from a big mall, but you only see and feel the great outdoors. There's also nearby facilities for sports.Playground: Toddler area, big kid areas, a climbing apparatus, swings, tubes and slides.Restrooms: Restrooms throughout.Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs all around and a dog park area as wellPicnic area: Lots of pavilions, picnic tables and benches

Tried to have a birthday party here. Every shelter was FULL OF BEES. There was also a tree with giant wasps all over it?! We moved 3 times and had to end the party so nobody got stung. We hadn't even unpackaged the food. It was horrible!

Good park. The train ride is usually a hit with little kids. The dog park is separated into two sections b one for large dogs (+25 lbs) and one for smaller ones. Upkeep is pretty good and everything worked. The pavilions can be reserved, but check if you roll the dice and just show up so you don't get removed.

I have actually went to this park a bunch of times especially the mid 2000’s. They have a train ride which I actually only went on once. A comfort station including another one that has like a bunch of unisex restrooms. Actually, the hand dryer is the only thing in both the men’s and women’s restroom were different than before.Restrooms: Restrooms are pretty nice. I’m surprised to hear that nothing harmful has happened to porcelain fixtures. I hope the porcelain toilets are safe from harm. Make sure the porcelain toilets are safe from danger.

Had a great morning here! Kids played in the playground and then we rode the train. Plenty of shade which is nice just make sure to wear bug spray! Did not go into the restrooms but they are available if needed. Love the huge dog park that is also shaded to keep dogs cool. I recommend getting train tickets early as it gets busy on the weekends! The train tickets as of this post are $3.50 per person. 2 and under free!
