Arona is a miracle worker! I've been to 40+ PTs, doctors, chiropractors, etc over 30 yrs struggling with a myriad of myofascial and orthopedic injuries and have finally found a provider who can solve issues for good. He carefully listens and is extremely thoughtful in how he treats patients. The range of treatment options and expertise he brings to bear is simply incredible. The extended Bethesda Physiocare team is likewise top notch and providers are all are leading experts globally in their field. The facilities are state of the art and patient experience is top notch.

I highly recommend Bethesda Physiocare. It is well run and includes state of the art equipment. Even more important is the phenomenal care we have received from Arona Diop. My son is a competitive swimmer who has Ehlers Danlos. As a former athlete with EDS, Arona knows exactly how to treat this. My son felt understood for the first time in his life after meeting with Arona. From the exercises, dry needling, massage and extensive education about his condition, everything about his treatment plan has been truly excellent. My son suffered a fractured vertebra this year and once again, Arona was there to explain exactly what he needed to do to fully recover. Arona was invaluable in keeping my son optimistic about his recovery and guiding him on exactly what he needed to do. My son is excited to see Arona and to follow his treatment plan because he says, "Arona has been through a lot with me and has always been right." I have started seeing Arona for my own long term back pain because after seeing how he helped my son, it would be hard for me to go back to any other PT.

It's rare these days to find healthcare practitioners who are genuinely invested in your well-being and demonstrate this with the utmost compassion and care. Bethesda Physiocare offers precisely this kind of experience, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found it. I had had dry needling in the past (as a part of my previous PT program) and was looking for someone to provide this service exclusively. After reading reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Noelle. My experience with her over these past few weeks has been nothing short of amazing. She is an exceptionally skilled provider who is clearly an expert in her field. Because of her breadth of experience and extraordinary needling skills, I always felt at ease and am now feeling SO much better than when I first came to see her. And she is just an overall lovely person who you can tell truly cares about her patients. The office is bright, clean, easily accessible and modern. I cannot recommend this practice, and specifically Noelle, highly enough. You will truly be in the best and most competent of hands.

Amazing place. As a former professional fighter and a current full time coach, feeling good is paramount. The attention to detail, love of their craft, precise medical explanations and results are indisputably awesome. They are the go to shop for my martial arts and wrestling academy.

My work with Dr. Jan Dommerholt at Bethesda Physiocare Inc was literally life-saving. I suffered a stoke in Feb, 2021 that left my left side essentially paralyzed, not only affecting my walking, but crucially, my ability to play the piano. As a concert pianist and composer, I initially thought my life was over, but through my work with Jan, who specializes in working with musicians with disabilities, I learnt and practiced techniques to trick my mind into recovering use of my left hand. Most important though, Jan instilled in me the belief in the power of the mind- that with determination, we are capable of overcoming seemingly impossible odds. I have recently returned to concertizing, something I could not have accomplished without Jan's guidance and unstinting support.

Working with Dr. Jan Dommerholt and the entire team at Bethesda Physiocare Inc was wonderful. Their kindness, professionalism and quick scheduling made my therapy to a very good experience.Dr. Jan Dommerholt is absolutely great, he is extremely knowledgeable. The dry needling therapy has done incredible things in a very short time. I felt safe, understood and in good hands. I can highly recommend this office.

I have been dealing with lower back pain for over 10 years. I have tried everything.I heard about dry needling from several people and finally decided to try it.I don’t know why I waited so long.It has been the first thing that has given me continuous relief. It is not the most enjoyable experience when it’s happening but it is worth every bit of discomfort to finally get relief and release the muscles. Thank you Arona, you have changed my life.

Melissa, Director of Operations, is amazing. She is so good at her job and makes you feel that she really cares that you feel better. Nate, PT, has been a fantastic provider. He is encouraging and always has some extra idea to help you feel better. I cannot say enough about Bethesda Physiocare. 5* each and every time.

I have been seeing Dr. Schlegel on and off for the last 1.5 years and she is nothing short of a miracle worker. She has helped immensely with some pain I've been experiencing and is incredibly kind and patient during the dry needling. Dry needling can be a bit painful and she always make sure to ask if I need a break. I would highly recommend her (and the practice)!

My experience with Bethesda Physiocare has been lifechanging. For years I had joint pain and hypermobility and no one could figure out the cause of it. Dr. Dommerholt was the first one to mention the possibility of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and referred me to the doctor who ultimately diagnosed me and performed a cervical fusion which helped many of the issues I was experiencing. I have since been back to Physiocare multiple times, working with Noelle after having neck surgery. From the moment I walked in, the team at Physiocare has been nothing but supportive and extremely helpful. My pain has improved significantly since my first visit and day to day activities have become much less of a challenge. I cannot thank Melissa, Jan, and Noelle enough for all they have done for me.

I came to this practice last spring in very bad shape. I have severe back issues, numbness in my legs and feet and at that time could hardly sit or lay down flat. After months of regular PT and almost no progress I was hopeless that anything was going to change. My Neurologist suggested I look into dry needling. An initial google search immediately brought up Bethesda Physiocare. My very first visit with Dr Alford was wonderful! The dry needling and skilled PT’s at Bethesda Physiocare have changed my life. The office is very well run and the PT’s are highly skilled in what they do. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this practice. I am almost back to my normal again and wouldn’t be here without them! I tell everyone to go to Bethesda Physiocare now and how dry needling will change your quality of life. They do not accept insurance but happily submit for you. Also I learned the benefit of going out of network for PT is HUGE. The PT’s can treat any area, vs when covered by insurance they are limited on what they can do (ex: the first practice I went to).
