Meager selection and wildly over priced for a bodega. It was 27 dollars for a 12 pack of beer. Sure, it was an IPA, but that's excessive. Selection is dogsh*t too. Staff was friendly though, so I guess they've got that going for them.

Great neighborhood store. Staff is always friendly, and they have a good selection of beer and wine in a small space.

Extremely into craft beer and I came across some good reviews for this spot. Unfortunately all the reviews I read weren't accurate. I rolled in on a Friday night. This place is your typical corner store with average selection at best. One of the clerks decided to act like he was stocking the beer to make sure I wasn't stealing anything. I get it. I have a mask on and there's a decent amount of shady characters hanging around the store so I wasn't offended. To break the ice with him I asked them if they carry Barleywine. He told me that he never heard of that before. That statement really explains why this review was needed because this is not a place you need to seek out for any thing craft beer related. The manager was friendly as I checked out so it's all good. I drove 20 minutes from where I was staying based on the positive reviews so that's not their fault of the store but don't make the same mistake that I did seeking out this place for seductive selections.

Local Bethesda Beer AficionadoOutside of Bethesda, say in Akron or maybe York PA this place would be an oasis. Beers from far away lands such as Netherlands (place where shoes are made from wood!). Extremely exotic. Unfortunately Bethesda hosts people from exotic beer lands like Czechia and SolvAkia (who's divorce we lament) and whose far away lands boast the best beers in the world. So in contrast and in light of the goals this establishment should seek, they warrent 2 stars.

I go in and I ask for an 18 pack of bud light, cold. It's not anywhere where I can grab so I asked and they told me I couldn't pick it out myself. They go "in the back" and bring me an 18 pack and once I get back to my hotel I see its dated for Nov 19, 2019. The date I bought was Nov 1 2019. They sold me a scuzzy P.O.S. pack of beer that probably had sat in their cooler since before Jesus was born. It is the scuzziest beer I have ever tasted. Do not ever let them pick out your beer for you. Go to a different store.

The best selection in gourmet wines (French and South American/International) for such reasonable prices and nice employees. Bethesda's finest.

They close pretty late usually - you have an extra chance to grab a six-pack if other places are closed already.

Don't stay open until posted hours, very frustrating given how hard it is to buy alcohol to go in Maryland.
