Now that I moved to the other side of the country, I finally feel safe to write a review on these people. They scared me so badly, that I was terrified to even write a review because I was in fear of their retaliation. First, the day of my move they showed up very late. When they finally got there, the younger guy just shrugged- no apology, nothing. They brought just two people (one was much older) to move my 1 bedroom house. They complained that the house was larger than 1 bedroom (but there was NO FURNITURE IN TWO OF THE ROOMS) - it was literally one bed, 1 dresser, 1 nightstand... They almost hit my garage with their truck when they pulled up- they only didn't because my neighbor yelled at them to stop backing up. They took forever moving things, to the point that me and my mom started moving things outside to speed things up. They broke my antique china cabinet that my grandfather built. I was getting so mad, that I finally left to go get things moving at the new place. HOURS later, they were finally leaving- knowing my mom was following them, but took off through a red light and lost her. My mom got to my house, but they showed up WAY after. And my mom is a slow driver. When they finally got to my house, they were doing the same insanely slow moving. When I asked them if they could speed things up just a bit, the younger guy got up in my face, yelling at me that I wasn't going to pay him. He left the house and no one brought anything in for a while, so I went outside to see what was going on. He said that I had to pay him before they moved anything else (they had moved like 5 boxes in) and I told him that that was not how moving transactions worked. He started bolting up the back of the truck. I asked what he was doing, and he said he was leaving with my stuff since I wasn't going to pay. I had to call the police. They showed up and explained to him that they had to finish the job before demanding payment from me. The police took the one guys license and let me take a picture of it because they were worried that he was going to leave with all of my belongings. The police had to get on the phone with their manager, who explained to them that they had to give me my things. They pretended to start moving things again by moving things out of the truck. The cops left. Then the movers started to lock up the truck again and got in it as if to drive away. I called the cops again. They came back and and made the movers start to take my stuff off of the truck. The movers refused to move my things all the way up into my house- so they left it all on a dewy grassy area around 10 PM and just left. The cops were so worried about them that they stayed until the movers had emptied the entire truck. So I ended up with all of my belongings outside at 10 PM and no movers. I luckily had friends that came to assist, and we got everything in within an hour. Absolutely horrible experience. You have been warned.

This is the worst company ever. A 3 hours job became a 7 hours job. I moved 10 minutes away. People before moved the same apartment in 4 hours max. They were very slow and ruined almost every pice of furniture I have. Make yourself a favor and don’t hire them.

The Alex movers are the worst movers I have experienced. They are not professional at all.1. The moving distance is only 10 minutes. However, they spent more than 20 minutes on the way.2. They have two people, but there is only one people working during the unload. And they do it really slow.3. I have few items to move, which can be completed around 1 hour with other movers. However, they waste me 2 hours.4. They are lazy to put the items at the proper room. They just put everything at the living room even I have told them to put some at the bedroom.5. 4 boxes are damaged during the moving.Don't trust the reviews on their website. I was so silly to trust the reviews there.

They were terrible. They ruined Almost every piece of furniture I have. The were purposely very slow. A job that before took another company 3 hours, took them 7 hours. also they did not provide a receipt.

Don't waste your tine. Very rude. Can't communicate clearly. Hangs up and yells at you even when you're the customer and we aren't even yelling. What a joke of a company. Lol

Extremely rude to my mother. Threatened to sew her after she didn't sign the contract (which as a customer is our right). He came on sight angry and aggressive, YELLING at her because I did not provide the correct zip code on accident?! That is why a professional moving service would call to clarify. On top of this, they didn't even come on the day they said they would. They came on a Wednesday instead of the original Tuesday we agreed on. Extremely unprofessional. I advise, do not hire these people.

I have used this company 4 times. The first 3 times, although they are not the friendliest, they came a few minutes early, wrapped everything, and moved us in a decent amount of time. So in my mind we've established a good working relationship over the years.

Best movers I've ever used. I've used them three times over the past 5 years for moving my one-person-studio of belongings and furniture to three different apartments. I do the small truck with two guys and the truck is packed in two hours and unloaded in one hour (plus travel time between). They are always early, always reliable, always straightforward, and exceedingly easy to deal with. I've referred numerous friends to them to only glowing reviews. They are the best!

These guys are great. They're prompt, consistent and friendly. I've ordered from here at least 15 times and every single time they had my pizza ready on 10-15 mins, and the staff always puts a smile on my face. Definitely my favorite local pizza joint.

Great movers!!! Not much of talkers but the were quick and efficient. I didn't have much to move so I appreciate the didn't have a minimum price. They are priced by the hour so made it perfect for me. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I have used their service twice, and was absolutely happy with what they have done! Every single piece of furniture was carefully packed, wrapped up with plastic and blankets and loaded on a truck. These guys were very punctual, and worked with a good pace. I will definitely use their service if I have to move again.
