I would give this course negative stars if I could.
The round cost $105. We’re on vacation. No big deal. That’s pretty standard for the area. What is a problem is paying $105 for a round where the fairways could easily be mistaken for a goat pasture in Scotland. The tee boxes and fairways were in HORRENDOUS condition.
On the first hole, we were interrupted by 5 maintenance workers. What time were we playing you ask? At 11:00 A.M. On top of that there was a guy mowing the first fairway that decided to drive up to the edge of the green just as a member of our group was putting.
The “driving range” might as well have been under a trap door it was so hard to find.
And then to top it all off a member of our group got SCREAMED at by a ranger for having the cart to close to the green when in reality he wasn’t within 60 yards of the green and the only thing that could happen by driving a cart too close to the green was improve the conditions.
Needless to say, we’ll never be back and I can only hope nobody else ever has to go through the misery of playing there either.

Currently, many bunkers are out of play, but overall decent shape.
Price is fair coming into prime season.
Update: 8/28/24 Summer has been hard on the fairways, they're very patchy in spots. Greens are good, a little on the slow side. Fairway bunkers are hard pan greenside bunkers are decent. Still an affordable and decent round.
Hit 'em straight!

Very friendly staff and decent course. Driving range is very underwhelming with “low flight” balls due to lack of space. Many areas around the course were under construction, however the course itself was in fairly good condition. Worth a play if you are able to find a flash deal or just decent price. Some tee times I saw when booking were a bit outrageous.

Friendly staff. Great design. Take time to take in some of the views, especially away from the houses. A few “rough” spots with the grass here and there. It’s a course I will play again when back in town.

Nice course, nice staff. On the back nine, the "Ranger" approached me and stopped behind my cart. Thought maybe he was gonna say my music was too loud (never is), but instead, he brought me a WATER. Have never had an employee offer me a water, FREE OF CHARGE. Definitely recommend this course to others. NOTE: Only $55 after 2:00, which is when I played 2 days in a row.

Nice layout. Some challenging holes with tight fairways but for $105 they can blow off the greens from the tons of pine needles and most tee boxes are terrible. Staff is friendly.
Won’t play it again for $105 (morning) but might play if rate was cheaper in the morning.

Nice layout and greens were good, but condition of tees and fairways was very poor. Not what I expect from a $105 greens fee course. Will not return.

Course was ok. Staff was friendly. Food was below average and drinks were expensive. 45$ for 5 hot dogs and a drink was absurd and hotdogs were small and cold.

Came down for the weekend for 3 rounds of golf:
River run - $129
Oc Pines - $69
Baywood - $99
River run was by far the worst conditions of the 3 and just in general felt like a $75 round of golf course. Maybe $95 because it’s close to the beach. Greens were patchy and many fairways were mud. I think they’re renewing the grass on some of them but I would expect that to be reflected in the price. I won’t be coming back to this course.
