I think their prices are just too darn high. $20 for an old lamp?

This *used* to be a great thrift, but it is now comically over-priced.

Rude employees, items were priced, when going to purchase they charged me almost double what the price said. Stating that “in the store I would pay more”. A bunch of scam artists. I will never return. They makeup their money own prices no matter what the item was priced as. ?

Would give "0" stars if I could. I bought a few belts that said on a sign "$2". When I got to the front of the line to check out, the lady rang them up as $3. And I said "hey, the sign says $2". The 2 ladies proceeded to argue with me that even though the sign in the back said $2, it had changed to $3. I don't care that I paid the extra money. It goes to charity. But I thought it was in poor taste and bad business practice not to honor what you advertise. Especially bc this is a church run business. The women up front were very rude to me. I have been coming to this store for a few years now, and despite how ridiculously expensive and over priced some items are, I still continued to shop here. Not anymore. And I would tell anyone visiting here to please go somewhere else. Plenty of other great reasonably priced and nice employees at other shops in Berlin. Try Open Hand. Clean, organized, priced appropriately and nice employees.

I went in and grabbed $1 worth of items and I only had a $10 bill on me. They said $10 was too large a bill to pay with. I asked them if they took cards and they said $5 minimum purchase for cards. They had a sign up saying that about the cards and one saying no purchases under $5 for bills larger than $20. Nothing about being unable to accept $10 bills. Then the cashier told me that if I donated $4 of my cash when I paid for the $1 item I could use my $10. It just didn't make that much sense to me and she was very rude in how she spoke to me.

Good selection, but overpriced. They pick out the good stuff and price check them higher!

High prices for a "thrift shop" I've stopped going to this store as I found the items way overpriced. The Coastal Hospice thrift store across the street is a much better experience with nicer staff.

Every once in a while you can find a gem here but the prices are way too high overall. Priced higher than sold eBay auctions .

Wide variety of items, neatly displayed. Volunteers are very kind, store is easy to maneuver and there's a fitting room as well. Clothing, home goods, furniture, books, jewelry, children's items & some small home construction goods can all be found here. Worth the trip.

I have a suggestion, how about putting the super-glued price stickers on the bottom of glassware. It took me a long time with Googone to get rid of the residue. Also other items put stickers on an area where it doesn't ruin the item. Also bought some clothes and the price magically went up from the rack to check out. Waited a long time in line and the non-friendly cashier pulled a man from behind me in line and waited on him before me and some other people. I realize the store is operated by volunteers, but they need some training.
