I am writing this review to share my experiences that I have had with TD Bank. To say that it has been a frustrating process is the biggest understatement of the year. I am not a TD Bank customer and after all of this, I will never be I am sorry to say, I have experience nothing but frustration and things that should take a day or two ( maybe even hours) take months to resolve. My mother is (was) a TD Bank customer and I have financial power of attorney, and I’ve been trying to clear up some issues regarding her account. When I initially started the process To take care of these matters I had to call five bank before somebody would even actually answer the phone. Five branches in my area to just get someone to even answer. I don’t understand how this is acceptable for a bank. When I went to the bank where my mother and I also have accounts and submitted my power of attorney I had an answer in 45 minutes. I don’t understand how a bank can not have the proper legal department to ensure that customers can be assisted in a timely manner. I submitted my proper paperwork with a branch Assistant Manager named Anna at the Van Dorn, Virginia location on the 27th of November. As of last Thursday, I still did not have a response, on the fourth of JANUARY. I was also given wrong information by the branch assistant manager. I’m not quite sure how an assistant manager doesn’t know standard bank Procedures, and can misinform a customer to this extent. I never received answers to my emails and was just ignored. The reason that I gave 2 stars rather than one star ( if I could do zero stars I would have) was the help I received from 3 other TD bank employees. Shout out to Rick Eul who is actually a mortgage Banker who has been a tremendous help Through months of me trying to resolve this. Rick guided me to Elena, who is the Little River Turnpike branch manager who is phenomenal and has been such a help to me with many issues. Unfortunately, because my mothers safe deposit box was at a different location at Van Dorn, she could only do so much. But yet again, Rick Eul told me to get in touch with Jenny Ardaiolo who is based in Maryland. I got in touch with Jenny last Thursday Which was 4 January, And In one day she did more than I’ve been able to accomplish in 6 months. I cannot thank Jenny Ardaiolo enough to resolve this issue. TD bank you need to do better as far as taking care of your customers. I hope somebody reads this from Corporate which considering the disarray this company seems to be in, I doubt will happen. The whole reason of me writing this is I hope you guys understand that Rick Eul (Springfield Va), Elena (little river turnpike, Annandale,Va) and Jenny Ardaiolo (Maryland) are above and beyond as far as customer service and helping and making customers feel heard and that they matter. I’d be embarrassed as a company to put customers though this to take care of matters that should literally take an hour to resolve. Do better TD You will never have my business as a result

I advised them that an account was opened in my 97 year old mother's name fraudulently. They advised me that the accounts (yes more than one) was opened online. I asked that they close thrm and was told that I have to bring my power of attorney to the "home" branch in DC before the would close it.i live an hour and a half from DC. It amazes me that they would open an account without identification, but will not close it. RIDICULOUS!

Supervisor of technical support was horrible if there was a 0 for a rating this would be my choice. Online banking is supposed to be for convience, this guy was refering me to western union, unapologetic, and very sarcastic. Totally Unacceptable.

If you are searching for an actual TD Bank location with a smartphone based map app, this is not one. It is an office building of the actual TD Bank Corporation, there's not a bank here. That's the only reason for the dislike, if you are reading this review you may have already seen that it is labeled "corporate campus" but if you just go to the first result when you search, and you don't happen to notice that (as I didn't) then hopefully you might see this review and avoid a useless trip or detour.

This is a regional office. There is no ATM on site.
