Came in around 1pm on a Saturday to address a noise that was coming from the FRONT of car. They took the car, came back and said that the noise that we were concerned about was the BACK brakes. The changed the brakes, rotors, "free" tire rotation, oil change, and replaced light bulbs (that didn't need changing). All coming to a grand total of 802.72. We check out and paid, they said "you're all set" and the technician who took the car for a test drive came and handed over the keys says "there's no sound coming from the car anymore". We drive off and immediately THERE IS STILL THE SAME SOUND WE CAME IN FOR!! We didn't even make it half a mile away and we came back. We tell the same tech that gave us the keys there's a sound and without listening to it he says "sounds like it's your Barring". We head inside to speak to the desk rep and they are confused cause they too were told the issues was resolved. They also tell us that that location can not provide the service of replacing barrings and they can recommend we go else where. They apologize for not addressing the initial issue. Then we are told to take a ride with the manager in the car. The manager confirmed immediately that it is the barring that's making that noise. This means that when they first diagnosed the sound they KNEW IT WAS THE BARRING THAT THEY COULD NOT FIX AND NOT THE BRAKES that they replaced that they told us was making the sound. The manager says he doesnt know why they didn't say anything about the barring but we really need to get it fix but we also needed to get the breaks fixed as well. It's now 4pm and he's just talking around the fact that his staff LIED to us about what the sound was just to get us to do all the other services listed earlier. And if they don't feel like they lied they are clearly incapable of doing their job correctly and it's still just as bad. The only solution he could offer to compensate our time and being lied to about what the sound is to remove the breaks that they add put back the old ones refund us so we can pay for the barrings at another jiffy lubes! Which is even more of an inconvenience cause they close @5 and the weekend is the only time we are free to fix the car. We called the headquarters and were told we will get a resolution in 3 days. We were still sitting out side the jiffy lube. Another worker who was supposed to be getting off said that he stayed back to help resolve our issue so we can leave there happy. The front desk rep told us they were speaking to the "big man" to resolve our issue and to park on the side so that they can help us leave there happy. We park and the manager comes back out and says he's done the best that he could do I then respond with "which is?" ...he then replies "nothing" and chuckles. He then says since we called the headquarters they will handle it and "that's that" and walks away.

Nadeem helped me so much!!! Honesty was key! He did not rip me off. I forgot when my oil was due to be changed and he told me I didn’t need an oil change because I was not due. He was honest with me when he could have lied and told me I needed an oil change when I didn’t. I will come back to this jiffy lube because they are honest with us! Excellent service!!!!

I was quite disappointed that my 20% discount turned out to be $7.00 on my invoice that was $168.00 plus. Did I miss something in my math or the email? An explanation would be welcomed.

The service was fast. The price was too much. Just for an oil change, $48 is too much. At the Jiffy Lube where I live, it’s $35. The population there is 10x that of where I’m from, so it’s no reason for such a high price, especially since I had my own oil and filter and declined all their other services.

Don’t go here change my transmission oil they didn’t know how to do it and end up not getting all the oil out and act like they did and then just top it off with transmission oil avoid this place at all cost not professional at all

I have been coming at this Jiffy Lube since 1991, ever since I moved to the Beltsville/CollegePark/UMD area and this location has been managed by James Brown for all those 3+ decades I have been having my cars serviced here. I do not even go to any one else, James and his team have always taken good care of all the cars in my family. My kids grew up getting to know Mr. James :-)
