“The main reason to book this hotel is if you can get a good deal on it. It's basically a place to rest and is right off the interstate. It's also pretty quiet.FYI- If you get the cheapest types of rooms, they do not have a fridge or microwave. I know that some other guests ahead of me in line were angry about that. There is a microwave in their little convenience store next to the front desk that's common-use, but no common-use fridge. The lobby was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The rooms are not the most exciting as far as decor goes, but that didn't matter to me. As long as the heat worked, the shower worked, and the TV and wifi worked, and I felt safe then I'm ok.I don't know about their breakfast except it cost $10. Pool was not open because it's outside.”

“Perfection! From the time you drive into the entryway of the hotel you are greeted with top tier service. The service here at the Conrad has to be the BEST service i've ever received. The hotel is gorgeous and the location is perfect to get around. This was our first stay at the Conrad but we'll definitely be backRooms: Amazing, Luxurious.Nearby activities: Shopping, Museums, Arena, The Capital, RestaurantsSafety: Felt extremely safe in the area.Walkability: Within walking distance of Arena, Museums, Shops and restaurantsNoteworthy details: My husband and I walked from the Capital One Arena back to the hotel, upon entering the employeee greeted us and offered us a bottle of water (We were in need of the water lol) but that attention to detail was superb.”

“Ah, the Eaton. It's a vibe due to the coffee shop (Baker's Daughter but real ones remember Kintsugi!), Wild Days (lovely rooftop bar), and the focus on wellness throughout the space. Okay, but you want to know about the hotel? It met all the must-haves: safe, clean, and with good temperature control. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet for a restful stay. There was a record player in the room and even though I didn't know the artist, it was a nice listen. The rooms don't have a mini-fridge or microwave but there are so many eateries around, including some onsite. Breakfast, lunch/dinner, and happy hour are all in different (aforementioned) venues within the Eaton. Room rates are reasonable and you're within downtown. There's also a fitness center (can't speak to the quality). The lack of a full 5 stars is that there's some artwork that may be offputing for folks, elevators are small, and the wifi wasn't secured. Overall, a solid stay option if you're in the area!”

“The Valentine's Day dinner was very nice. The restaurant has a very high-end atmosphere and it was a great spot to celebrate the day. The food was very good and we enjoyed every course. The service was fair at best. I had the absolute worst espresso martini I have ever had there, so think about skipping that on the menu.”

“This hotel was the highlight of our trip to DC. We were upgraded to a corner suite without request (Globalists). The room was spacious with corner windows (light blocking curtains available), separate living/desk space, a very comfortable king bed, and a large bathroom with both a tub and an expansive shower area. Plenty of mirrors for dressing around, and lots of storage areas. The soap/lotion brand is Le Labo and it is amazing. The hotel had a great custom scent in the lobby. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing with no odd noises….just peace and quiet. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The bartender, Michael, was top notch on his service (he’s been there ten years). We did not book the restaurant but later heard that it is Michelin Star (not confirmed). We 100% recommended this hotel.”

“The owner, Lucia, is a wonderful hostess, and her breakfasts are truly outstanding. Eggs cooked just for you, plus many other tasty options. The building is historic, but has all the modern conveniences I needed. Many restaurants and interesting neighborhoods to explore within a short walk, also the zoo and Dumbarton Oaks. Very close to Hilton on Conn Ave NW. Will be back.”

“Great location and excellent customer service. Close proximity to Metro Center Station and sightseeing spots. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The room was a bit dark and could be improved, everything else was great. I would recommend this hotel due to its good location and excellent customer service.”

“I love this place. It's the second time I've stayed here - the last time was about 7 years ago (!!) but the staff are why you should stay. I like old hotels, and it definitely has a quirky charm. It could stand to be updated (as someone mentioned the TVs are circa 2005), but it is clean and probably the friendliest place you will find in DC. I had ordered a package that needed to be refrigerated and when I arrived late at night, the valet had already put it in the fridge in my room!I also ordered a package that arrived after I left and the staff kept it and agreed to ship it should I send them a label. Where else could you find that level of service?Location cannot be beat - close to a Whole Foods, a series of restaurants, in walking distance to several metro lines. The room I had felt sort of like living in my own apartment, which I enjoyed. Definitely stay here! I'll come back when I'm on business in DC 100%.”

“Had a fantastic 4 night stay here. The location is incredible- steps from bus, metro, and the Postal Museum as well. Getting around DC from this point is super easy. The staff were very friendly and check in/out was fast. Room was very comfortable. Coffee and tea available 24 hours was a big plus coming back from the cold! I will definitely stay here again.Walkability: Great location, easy to get to bus and metro.Food & drinks: The Dubliner is attached to the hotel and has amazing Irish food.”

“Hotel and service was superb! Very clean and welcoming! The robe and slippers made me feel at home, and the King bed was beyond comfortable. Location in DuPont Circle was fun for adventuring around. Local to lots of restaurants and close to Historical downtown. Would highly recommend and will return in the future. Thank you!”

“Stayed here for the first time for a short work trip. Front reception is efficient and very friendly. I was originally placed in a room on the 8th floor with a nice view. But I had an issue with the fan in the ceiling in the bathroom. It was always on. Even with the door closed it was still noisy. I called down to the front desk and asked if I was able to turn it off. The person who answered was a little gruff about it. He said the fans are always on to circulate air, but the door should be soundproof enough to block out the noise. Seeing as how the door in the smallest room can cover either the bathroom or the small front hallway, it was in no way soundproof or sealed. He offered to move me to a new room, so I took it. I got another room on the 3rd floor. Not a great view, but to my surprise the fan in the bathroom ceiling was off. I asked a colleague who was staying in the hotel whether his fan was on, and he said no. Very odd. The smallest rooms are quite small with almost no amenities, but if you're not spending a lot of time there (and staying alone) it's more than enough. The furnishings and decor in the rooms were nice. Pillows were quite uncomfortable but that's normal in a hotel for me. Overall it was a great stay, great location and great service. I would stay here again!”

“Beautiful hotel! Very clean and very accommodating. There is a small pool and jacuzzi as well. Some of the women receptionist were rude. Seemed a little impatient and agitated when I asked questions … but everyone else , bartenders, housekeeping, servers, and the manager very nice. I’m from the south so I’m not sure if this is a northern thing but parking is crazy there is parking at the hotel but it’s between $50-$60 per day. I do believe there is a discount however. But in that area, everything is within walking distance restaurants the White House, the monument, all within walking distance.”

“Very convenient location to the metro and other city sites. Clean and friendly staff with nice touches for safety. The double beds were a little tough for a family of four with two teenagers, but a fold out couch helped, this was not the hotels fault. The indoor pool was mildly heated, but tolerable, but due to size would fill up quickly. Complimentary breakfast with made to order omelettes was nice, but the menu was the same everyday with not a lot of variety, but it was free. With the area that this hotel is in, homeless or crime did not appear to be an issue. Right across the street is Gucci, Tiffany's, and Louis Vuitton stores with security guards walking around, so it felt very safe. The only issue was the lack of space on the eating area in the morning for breakfast the line grows quickly and the seats are filled just as fast. The hotel did try putting out more tables and making another line for food, but space was limited. Overall a good stay and would recommend this hotel to folks visiting DC.Rooms: Roomy and clean.Nearby activities: Close to metro stations or a short walk to the national mall sites or Chinatown.Safety: No issues with safety. Must have your room key for the elevator, pool, or workout room.Walkability: Well laid out hotel and a CVS next to the hotel.Food & drinks: It has a restaurant for dinner and drinks, that serves complimentary breakfast with made to order omelettes for guests in the morning.”

“My family and I visited Washington D.C. for the weekend to attend an NFL football game. I must say, it was the easiest and most streamlined vacation I've had in a long time. We flew into Reagan Airport and took the metro straight to the hotel, which was conveniently located just 1/4 mile away from the station. To our delight, our room was ready and waiting for us at 10 am on a Friday. Although we missed breakfast hours at the hotel restaurant, the staff kindly allowed us to place an order. We spent the day strolling around the city visiting all the major attractions. The White House was just a 5-minute walk from our hotel. I must say, the staff at the hotel were incredibly hospitable. The restaurant's chef, Kevin, was particularly friendly and accommodating, which made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to D.C.”

“Very nice hotel. However, toiletries are bolted in place in the rooms at heights that are tough for kids to reach. There's no common garage cans out. The breakfast area is kinda small.”

“The rooms are very cleanThey clean the room and toilet every day(we stayed there for 2 days). The breakfast is good. Would have been better if there was chicken instead of/in addition to just pork .The rooms are pretty big and have all the necessary and also complementary things like hair dryer and conditioner. But the staffs aren't very friendly, they are robotic. But we enjoyed our stay a lot!”

“We spent two evenings here. We had a lovely stay. The staff was very helpful and always available with a bottle of water. Yes, you have to pay for the parking, but it's in such close proximity to several Metro lines & short Lyft rides to some of the best sights in DC, it's worth the charge knowing your car is safe and sound in their garage. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a cocktail in the "speakeasy", however, the drinks took way too long to make and were over priced given the labels used. The bartender also kept leaving the room to get ice, liquor and supply's. The music was way too loud given the small space. It only holds about 12 people as well. It became very warm in the room, so we went and sat in the lobby while we finished our drinks. We then ordered the same drinks from the bar at Via Sophia, and they were just as good for half the price. The lobby was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a good conversation.”

“We stay here prior to cruising. Clean place with a pretty good breakfast spread if you include it in your room price. Workers are generally polite and helpful and we've never had any issues while parked here for long durations.”
