“The main reason to book this hotel is if you can get a good deal on it. It's basically a place to rest and is right off the interstate. It's also pretty quiet.FYI- If you get the cheapest types of rooms, they do not have a fridge or microwave. I know that some other guests ahead of me in line were angry about that. There is a microwave in their little convenience store next to the front desk that's common-use, but no common-use fridge. The lobby was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The rooms are not the most exciting as far as decor goes, but that didn't matter to me. As long as the heat worked, the shower worked, and the TV and wifi worked, and I felt safe then I'm ok.I don't know about their breakfast except it cost $10. Pool was not open because it's outside.”

“Perfection! From the time you drive into the entryway of the hotel you are greeted with top tier service. The service here at the Conrad has to be the BEST service i've ever received. “This place was wonderful! It's a gorgeous hotel and the food is good as well. The best part is the staff, however. Everyone, including at the front desk, the door (especially Seidou and Dawit), and at the restaurant (Sujata) is very kind. You really feel special. The only comment I have is that it would have been nice to have coffee or a kettle in the room. Thanks all for a wonderful stay!”

The roof top with the pool is a great place to hangout and network. The location is very convenient. Walking distance to White House and other sites. Will be back!”

“Eaton Workshop DC was the host for a recent two-day conference I organized, and for the most part, it was a solid experience. Working with the conference service manager was smooth sailing, and they were responsive and attentive to our needs. Any issues that popped up along the way were swiftly taken care of once we flagged them to the team's attention. On the day of the conferences, the staff was welcoming and accommodated our needs, which was greatly appreciated. However, there are a couple of areas where Eaton could improve. Firstly, let's talk chairs. We spent two full days in conference spaces with two different types of chairs, and both were akin to sitting on bricks. Investing in some comfier, ergonomic options would do wonders for long events like ours. Secondly, the food. The catering menu left a bit to be desired. Options were limited, and what we did get wasn't exactly top-notch. Even the cookies were disappointingly small, barely bigger than Oreos, which left us scratching our heads. A menu overhaul would be a wise move. Despite these critiques, everything else about Eaton Workshop DC was pretty good. Attendees enjoyed their stay, and surprisingly, the bathrooms garnered quite a positive buzz. So, if you're looking for a venue with impressive lavatories, Eaton's got you covered.”

“AMAZING SERVICE FROM STAFF!! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very very small (smaller than downtown Toronto, I wish I'd checked the square footage) and the walls are thin. It was really hard to get to bed, as DC is a booming area, and we heard a lot of fighting and police cars all hours of the night.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Darcy Hotel (which does not look anything like the pictures we saw on Yelp). It's nice inside and very clean and newer looking. The attached restaurant is upscale and serves very good food at high prices. Rooms are quiet, which we like. Bathrooms are European style (small). They have people to open the door for you when you walk up to the hotel and most of the staff are great. They also offer a free Darcy cocktail between 5:00-5:30 in the evening. We tried it and both of us thought it was good. Unfortunately, since the Smithsonian Museums don't close until 5:30 pm, we only got to enjoy this benefit once during our stay. The only downside was that if you have anything wrong in the room and you need assistance, no one will ever come to your room to fix the problem. We tried twice to get assistance (both on the phone and in person at the front desk) and my husband ended up fixing the stopped up sink after we got there and then he figured out how to fix the rattling noise from the furnace vent. Lucky for me, he's REALLY good at fixing things because, as I mentioned, repeated requests for help go unanswered - maybe they don't have maintenance people there? Dunno. I took one star off for that.”

“This is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location at Pennsylvania and I Street. It looks and feels and is warm and cosy. It has a great little restaurant and delightful bar/lounge. My bedroom was large with a separate sitting room and bathroom. It was a very comfortable bed with excellent pillows. It had a well stocked mini bar and desk to work from with great WiFi. The front of house staff are delightful, particularly the very helpful doormen! I'll be back!”

“5 stars across the board for this hotel- the room was unbelievable. Completely spotless, and just stunning all over. I was upgraded to the pres suite, the team at the Hyatt really took good care of me.The breakfast was top notch (I’m not even a breakfast person) and they took good care of my vegan cousin as well. Above and beyond with most things. I didn’t get to use the gym or the pool but stopped by it seemed to be decent enough for a good workout. The linens felt crisp and fresh, the pillows the perfect density. Bed was very comfortable.I used my 4 pm check out to take meetings and work from the room. The best part might’ve been the bathroom, honestly. Staff were friendly and truly helpfulAlso location is fantastic, by GW and George Town and walking distance to the Lincoln memorial and the rest of the park”

“I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The hotel offers a wide array of top-notch amenities, making it a destination in itself. From various dining options, there’s always something to enjoy without even leaving the hotel. We had so much to do right within the property, it made our stay incredibly convenient and relaxing.

One of the highlights is the direct access to the metro station within the hotel, which made exploring the city a breeze. It was so convenient to hop on the metro and get anywhere we wanted to go in just a few minutes.

Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt for anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and comfort. I can’t wait to return!”

“EXCELLENT choice for a stay with children. Our king bedroom had a door between us and the mini kitchenette and living room, which gave us plenty of extra space as well as an area to block off so our 4 month old wouldn't be woken up by the light. Nightly happy hour is a lot of fun (my husband went without me once when I wasn't back from my conference yet and ended up getting a double pour of wine since the bartender thought our kid was cute). There's a large number of selections for breakfast including made-to-order omelets. The metro stop is a short walk away. Staff were super friendly and people were walking up to ask if we were Zoe's parents by the end of the trip. I'll happily stay here again. You get significantly more space and more free food/benefits than other hotels of similar price in the area.”

“I really liked this room, and this hotel. I've been staying in a lot of business hotels lately, and it just get the feel that they lose track of my humanity. What I mean is, I become a commodity to most business hotels, and they just want to stick me in a box for a fee for as long as I'll stay.

I didn't get that feeling with this hotel at all. They read my comments and requests when I made the reservation and they accommodated everything. It was so comfortable and so quiet. I really feel like this could have been one of my top five business hotel stays of my career.

Was everything perfect? No. But anything that came up they handled with Grace and care. The folks who work there were super helpful and could direct me to nearby food establishments that were both delicious and convenient. The Hotel gym was adequate. They had the elliptical gliders I like and they had at least a couple of free weights. I got my workout in. That's all I really needed.

The breakfast was good. It wasn't great, but it was good. Every day, scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, pancakes or waffles. There was always some kind of breakfast sandwich, too. I didn't like these. I would try them every day and essentially just toss them. But it's hard to argue with fresh scrambled eggs, a protein, and cheese and salsa. Also, there was oatmeal, cereal, juices, coffee, and fresh fruit as well as packaged baked goods. The only complaint I had about breakfast was that breakfast sandwich which just was not any good any day I tried it.

So, how was the hotel? It was great! So how was the room? Was comfortable and quiet. So, would you go back there again? Oh heck yes! Next time I go, I'm definitely staying here again.

Five Stars.

Rooms: The room was really nicely appointed. It was quiet and comfortable.

Nearby activities: I only got to try the restaurants. I was there on business and didn't have time for a lot of exploring. But, I got two of the nearby restaurants and they were yummy!

Safety: I felt safe all the time. I walked to nearby restaurants and found myself completely comfortable at all times.

Food & drinks: There was coffee available all day. The breakfast was really very good, except for that weird breakfast sandwich everyday. The eggs tasted fresh. The bacon was crisp, but not burned. The sausage was cooked just right. Waffles and or pancakes were delicious. It was good!”

“It's near the station. There are no transfers from the airport, and you can reach the hotel in about 30 minutes. There is a Starbucks and a restaurant inside the hotel. In the morning, Starbucks is so crowded that even the seats at the entrance are filled. You can also order meals in your room. The price wasn't that high either. In the room, there were drinks in plastic bottles for each person, as well as coffee and tea.Amenities included body cream, hand soap, provided shampoo, treatment, and body soap.As a service, cucumber water and lemon & lime water are available near the elevator. However, it didn't seem to be replenished and it seemed like it was running out by 5pm.You can keep your luggage in the closet before check-in and after check-out.Check-in time is 16:00, but you may be able to enter your room at 2:00 pm without any additional charge, and if you are before 2:00 pm, you may be able to enter your room with an additional charge. The front desk staff was also polite and pleasant.I think it's a convenient location to go to the White House and the National Mall.I would like to use it again the next time I go to Washington DC.”

“A nice hotel! But it’s definitely not 5 stars, I think this is more like 3 stars. There’s no parking available, the rooms are decent size but the decor is not very inviting. I will say the location of the hotel is great walking distance to all landmarks. Service was great.”

“We had a great experience with the Hotel Washington who we used for our hotel block for our recent wedding! They were very attentive and responsive with all of our questions. They quickly set up reservation links for our guests and passed out our welcome bags for guests. For our stay they gave us a complimentary upgrade to an incredible room with direct monument views. The hotels location can't be beat in the center of some of the most iconic DC site and the hotels lobby and decor were beautiful. We have to give a special shout out to Mariah who helped us from day one, she was attentive and directly attended to all of needs and went above and beyond helping us extend our stay and celebrate our big day!”

“The Hamilton Hotel is located in a great spot in Downtown DC. Only blocks from the White House and one block to a Metro station. We chose this hotel as we are big fans of the TV show, Veep, and they have a suite themed after it. The suite contains several props from the show which was very fun for us as fans. The suite consisted of a bedroom, bathroom, living room and entry hallway and was on the upper floor of the hotel. The view was on Franklin Park and the Washington Monument in the distance. During our stay we enjoyed the clean room, beautiful historic look and feel of the hotel, and the location. We had an issue with our tub not draining, but it was fixed quickly once we mentioned it. The room was stocked with fresh towels daily and was clean. Some people need to be reminded what a historic hotel experience can be like and what their expectations need to be. That being said, we enjoyed our time here and would consider it again for future trips.”

“Voor prijs en verblijf kwaliteit prima om naar DC toe te gaan. Het is wel erg afgelegen voor verschillende activiteiten. De medewerkers waren zelf erg vriendelijk en altijd wel in voor een praatje. Het ontbijt was erg top. Helaas waren er niet veel glutenvrije opties. Maar wel super goed ontbijt voor als je geen allergieën hebt. Vooral de pancake automaat was erg leuk om te zien. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is echt top.

Food & drinks: Er is ontbijt. Ei vlees groeten en fruit is er beschikbaar. Ook koffie thee en yoghurt. Samen met crossant en broodjes.”

“Just wrapped up a week-long stay at this quality hotel and my family would recommend others stay here when in College Park. Our room and the executive lounge we used were in excellent condition and made for very comfortable sleep and lounge time. Though, the buttons used to control the lights and curtains in the room were confusing and didn't always work. Seems like they were a cool addition when the hotel was built but haven't stood the test of time. We had a couple service snafus that created some wrinkles: 1) the main frustration was the first night we got back pretty late from a tour in DC and it took over a half hour for staff to bring up a sheet set for the sleeper sofa; 2) the pool went out of commission after our second night so we couldn't use that amenity for nearly our entire stay. Our interactions with front desk staff and one of the shuttle drivers, Jerson, were very positive and we felt taken care of by them. I want to especially call out Jerson for his positivity and hospitality. He was a ball of good energy, very conversational, drove safely, and offered us great suggestions of sites and restaurants to visit.

Rooms: Our room was in excellent shape. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. We had an excellent view of the University campus from our 8th floor room. We also had access to the executive lounge which provided ample space to unwind for a continental breakfast or snack. I took multiple opportunities to sit in there and read a book.

Nearby activities: Grateful for the shuttle driver, Jerson, who got us to the Metro station several times. He was full of knowledge about the area and shared great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. Jerson was energetic without being overbearing. I wish every hospitality employee could have the positive energy he shared with us.

Walkability: Our daughter had a competition on the University of Maryland campus. The hotel is right at the base of campus and it was easy to walk wherever we needed to on campus. There were also restaurants and shops within about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.”

“Pleasant house in a nice neighborhood. 12 minutes walk from the metro which will allow you to see the monuments and museums.Room 401 very good with a good bed.My only regret is that for me a host adapts to his Guest and there I pointed out that we had to leave at 7:15 a.m. and that 8 a.m. was too late to be able to eat something but we got up and left without even eating anything a banana or an apple even though I still paid more than €300 per night with breakfastRooms: Very good good beddingNearby activities: A little outside the metro center 12 minutes awaySafety: Very secure neighborhoodNoteworthy details: Breakfast not before 8 a.m. in self if you want eggs or something else it's 8:30 a.m. and finished at 9 a.m.”

“Hotel very well located, the room with a view keeps its promises, beautiful bathroom, clean and spacious room, good bedding but the size of the beds is quite small. I think 140cm. Very warm welcome on arrival each morning and upon departure we were offered a donut or a healthy snack. Another small downside was that the air conditioning was a little noisy and we could hear the sirens at night.”

“A relatively new facility across the way from a very green, clean and open modern business park. Within minutes drive to a nice retail area so you can get anything you need. A few minutes off the main highway but far enough that you don't hear or see a thing.Staff was friendly and efficient. I was pleased that there was never a time where I had to go find someone, at the desk or the cafe. The rooms were super nice but as a tall guy, my feet hung over the bed a little. They seemed a bit short. No big deal.We were able to get to Annapolis in about 20 minute and the Mall in DC in about 45, so the location is ideal for a long weekend.Except for what I think were slightly short (but plenty wide) beds, I really think this place is a keeper.”

“Positives: Nice price for a room with a full kitchen and pullout.
MAJOR PLUS for it being pet friendly. I love the fact that the pancakes had different flavoring and the fruit bar. Only downside I can think of is that the hallways are super humid and hot (rooms aren't). Other than that there's a shopping center behind with a grocery store, kfc, a mcdonalds etc that's walking distance

Walkability: Shopping center behind it

Food & drinks: Food places in walking distance”
