Well it's all downhill now. I use to bring my car from Bethesda to this shop for 15 years to get my tires rotated because I trusted that they would do a good job and they were not as crowded as the nearby stores. Now it's gotten horrible. When my wife got her car back and showed me that the air nozzle was covered up by the hub cap, I thought what idiot would put that cap back on like that. I mean come on. Turns out that two wheels had their caps put on wrong and to top it off, they over torqued the lug nuts using an air gun. I mean it was way over torqued. I had to use a cordless impact wrench for a minute to get one nut off. When my wife went back to the shop and complained to the manager, he accepted the hub cap problem but refused to acknowledge that they used an air gun because he said they are supposed to torque it down with a torque wrench. However, I know that they use an air gun to drive the nut down first and then finish it off with a torque wrench. If the mechanic doesn't stop the air gun in time, the nut will be way over torqued and when you do that, you can create an imbalance in the torque of the entire wheel because some nuts will be over torqued and others may not. This will result in your brake rotor getting out of round and you will have the brakes pulsate when you step on the brakes. Which leads to a very expensive brake job. Since the manager is ignorant of what his employees are doing and refuses to accept it when you complain, I will not go back to this store. And I wouldn't recommend that anyone else do as well unless they want to pay for an expensive brake job.

They ‘Lie’ to you about tire conditions when you bring your car to get Rotation and balancing.I got new tires last year for my wife’ sienna. I rotated myself every 5-6000 miles whenever I change oils on this car. I thought maybe this time I should bring to costco tire since I can get free rotation and balance when purchased at costco. They told me that they don’t have a record for 30000miles rotating since purchase. Then told me I need a two new front tires! I told them I do not need new tires I just want rotation and balancing. However, they told me they cannot rotate the tire because front tire is more worned out than back tires. One who worked there told me it’s their costco tire policy to Not to rotate tires when front tires are worned out more than back tires. Is this eve true? Just none sense to me. I got upset because I see not too much of difference on my front and back tire thred. I want to report this issue and make people find out what is going on there. If my wife was there instead of myself, then my wife would have said yes and spend money on two new tires we don’t need. It’s just terrible how they treat returning customers.I wish many people see this post and spread the words so someone can actually can be more responsible for their Job rather than giving false information to customers to collect more money for the company.Definitely Not Satisfied, Definitely Very Upset, Definitely spreading and reporting about this issue to everywhere I can.

Had a disappointing experience with the Costco Tire Center. The folks who answered my call seemed uninterested and were not helpful at all. Their attitude made it a frustrating experience. Expected better from Costco. Hope they improve their customer service.

This place has to be akin to like the den of Hades. No matter what time that I have come here, it is packed from a random Monday to dare I say it a weekend. This is from the parking lot to the interior of the store. I try to avoid this location like the plague, and will purposely drive to the location in Waldorf just to avoid coming here, if what I want isn't in Woodmore. They generally have a good selection of food, and occasionally you will find items that other Costco's don't carry. I have had pleasant experiences with the staff...the customers, not so much. Will continue to avoid.

Amazing work and customer service! We did not realize we had locks on our tires and we did not have the key. We were so upset and embarrassed, especially since we had our 4 month old with us and it’s very hard to get out of the house/schedule these things with him. However, the tire shop was so accommodating and allowed us to keep our appointment. We quickly went to a shop nearby that broke the locks and we came right back for the new tires. They saved the day and our little one survived the excursion.

The tire team led by Cliff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to get our flat tire replaced in a very short time frame so that we could drive home (out of state). They are responsive, courteous, and provided excellent customer service - I highly recommend this tire center and team.

Oh, Costco, how I missed living in an area where I was close to one. Since my move to the area I am very near to many Costco locations now. However, I doubt that this particular one will be my go to spot after my first interaction here.I showed up here to start up my membership again. it had been nearly a decade since I had one and I thought why not do it again. When I walked into this location to get my card, I was met with a line out the door at customer service. I stand in this line only to find out, after minimal movement, that there are two lines going on here. One is to return items and one is for membership. You don't know this until you are well inside the single doorway leading to the service desk.I finally realize this and get into the correct line finally and see that my twenty minute wait I had already had would have probably been five minutes or less if I had know of this. Would have helped if there was a sign outside your single doorway to let everyone know this.Get to the counter to start the process of getting my card. I know it is supposed to be a simple one, but the lady working the register wanted to make it a little bit harder for me. OK, game on.I tell here I am there to sign up again. I fill out the paperwork and hand it over to her. She looks confused and stumbles for a bit. She then finally asks me if I had a membership before. Yeah, I did, when I lived in Pittsburgh back in 2014. She understands that and we clear that hurdle. I give her some more information that had to be written down for some reason, and we come to our next hurdle. She hands me this flimsy receipt from the register and tells me I'm good to go. I give the puzzled look this time. I ask what am I suppose to do with this. She tells me to go about shopping and at the register to give them that to purchase my items. I politely said no, I want a card, that's why I'm here. She kind of digs her heels in here and says that I will have to come back later in the week to get a card and gesturing to the printer as to indicate it was an ice cream machine at McDonald's, i.e., not working. Did she forget that I was standing right behind the customer she just helped and watched the printer spit out a card for not only the customer, but the spouse of the customer.I said, no, I know it works, I can't make another trip up here to just pick up a card, I want my card now. She just kind of stares at me, like she is going to stare me down and I would willingly go into submission and take her noncommunication as she was in the right here. Honestly, this Costco is a nightmare to navigate, I almost had an accident trying to get in because people were ravenous for the fuel. I had to park, I swear, a quarter of a mile away from the entrance. I was not making that trek a second time in a week just to pick up a card that she could print right now.I swear she thought I still had my Costco card from all those years ago. Like I kept that in my wallet in hopes that it would lead me back to a Costco like a treasure map or some mystic object beckoning me back. Since she wanted to stare, I stared right back. She restated that I could pay for my membership at the register and then come back later in the week to get my card. At that point, I pulled out my wallet in full view of her and pulled out my debit card. "How much does the membership cost?" I was giving her no choice but to ring me up now. Three other employees and long line worth of customers nearby, I think she finally understood, I had no Costco card and I wanted it now. Maybe she also realized that her way was inconvenient as well. Needless to say, the customer service at the actual CUSTOMER SERVICE desk was horrible. To reiterate, just because I was a prior member does not mean I held onto my membership card from nearly a decade ago. Suggesting to come back to pick up my card later in the week does nothing for me but make it more inconvenient. Like, let me carve out some time for you that I haven't already to be here.In the end, I did get my printed membership c

This location is packed! It's very hard to find a parking spot even on the outskirts of the lot. It's nice that they do have the gas station on this location but the line for it.. I can't believe people will actually wait in that.If I have the choice, I'd rather go to the Costco locations in Arundel Mills, DC, or Columbia. They should build another location somewhere nearby because there is definitely enough customer to expand. We checked out and the printer would did not print our receipt. We noticed one of the employees near checkout and they acted like we were trying to steal stuff, like sir you just watched us ring up all our items. Please just print us out our receipt it is linked to our costco card.. we know you can get an itemized one from the guest services. Such a weird experience. On top of that they will be out of items that we always get at Costco such as diapers. Good luck trying to get your tires done here. The wait will be ridiculously long.

I used to buy all my tires (for six cars) here and loved the place. I could order online, go in for the install the next day, come back for the torquing, and they would top up the air in the low aspect ratio tires every year when the weather got cold. Then they put in self service inflators, instead of just driving up to the bat and having one of their techs come out and fill you up, they expect you to do it. I might as well go to Wawa if I need to get out of the car for air. (NTB down on Sunnyside still fills you up at no charge. )Last week I ordered 4 tires online at Costco. Received email that they had arrived at store. The earliest the online calendar would schedule was for 10 days later! I ordered the same Michelins at NTB yesterday and they will be doing my install for today, only for about $20 more total.Sorry Costco, used to love you, but you disappointed me, twice.

I told them I had a screw in two tires. They failed to find both and blamed my air loss on "dry-rotted tires". Got home and took out the screws myself. Costco may want to hire people with smarts, but more importantly, people with eyesight. Also had the audacity to tell me he had a great deal of $800 for 4 bew tires on an equinox.. no thanks lol.
