Don't bother with this pharmacy if you want to get your prescription within 24 hours. Between the long lines they cannot even fill prescriptions in a timely manner. I had an antibiotic and steroid put in from my Dr in the am and at 3pm they were still not done. Was told it would be another 2 hours. Absolutely insane. Went back in 3 hours later and they still were not done and told I need to wait 20-30 minutes.

Somehow, for the time being, this has become my go to pharmacy. I'm not the biggest fan of Walgreens overall, and I am sure you will figure out why by the end of this review. Recently I have had to have prescriptions filled and still not familiar with the area I just go with what is close. I'm usually a CVS person, but they are kind of spread out down here and not in the best areas for parking. So to here is where I have been going. It's like this is an after thought when it came to store planning. Almost an endcap for the strip mall that it sits in, it really just doesn't feel like an appropriate pharmacy. My first few visits here I had no problem with filling a prescription. And with my insurance I was happy with the pricing. They were usually timely with filling the prescriptions and I would just come and go fairly quickly. However, recently I have had some missteps here. Making me think I should go elsewhere to have the upcoming prescriptions filled. I recently had a slew of prescriptions needed to be filled. I had them in hand and dropped them all off. I had errands to do and was going to return later when I was finished and past the time they said they would have them all filled by. Upon arriving at the later time, some of my prescriptions were still not filled. It was a bit out of their control as what was prescribed was not what they had on hand and instead of ordering it for arrival the next day they wanted to go the route of having the prescribing doctor to change the prescription. I gave them a day and returned. They still hadn't filled it and told me to wait some more. I declined and took the prescription to another pharmacy, a CVS, and was able to get it filled by the next day. Again, I came here to pick up an item and they were completely out and no one was around to stock the shelves. It feels rundown in here and given the right circumstances will run you down too.

Overall I love the Pharmacy and the Pharmacists. But for an extremely unpleasant and costly problem with them I'd give them 5 Stars. I highly recommend them over the average Maryland pharmacy.

What if there were a combined pharmacy and convenience store that could singlehandedly raise your level of emotional intelligence and your capability for empathy? No more would you have to be like Gru's Mom when she hears her son excitedly tell her "Mom! Someday, I'm going to go to the Moon!", only to respond devastatingly, "I'm afraid you're too late, Son. NASA isn't sending the monkeys anymore!" Located on Baltimore Avenue in Beltsville, in the same strip mall as Petco and La Familia Bakery, this Walgreens location possesses the single best collection of greeting cards for holidays, weddings, anniversaries, not to mention cards to assist with gratitude, sympathy, and excitement, that my wife and I have seen since catalog-carrying Hallmarks used to be a Christmas destination for children of all ages and emotional or emotionless ranges. Add the fact that they house a pharmacy; they carry some school supplies; they sell a litany of nostalgia-sparking candies that used to be sold at the cinema; and Walgreens is certain to boost your own sense of joy even if, unlike Gru's Mom, you don't need any assistance with your capacity for empathy!

I Like this place . But the guy that was working there today with the with earring needs to learn to open his mouth an talk when someone says hey how are you . Didn't say one word until I had to shout have a nice day. He looked down the whole time too. He needs to stock shelves and interact with customers. Other than that everyone else in the store is great an always says hi and have a nice day.

This place used to be Rite aid . Very surprised to see Walgreens here but I'm glad. So I went not too long ago. Very good. Well stocked, positive experience overall. The customer service is great, was able to use my card and points with no problem. Shared large parking lot.

This location is now Walgreens, indistinguishable from CVS only in name. The product I used to come here to buy because CVS didn't have it is no longer carried. The good news is I found it at Shoppers. Farewell, old friend.

This Riteaid (now Walgreens) have the best pharmacists ever! They are personable, kind, helpful, and willing to do whatever it takes to help you get the medicine you need. Thank you Sharon & Marjolie (hope I spelled that right!).

Don't get a flu shot here. Waited 30minutes with no other customers to have it processed through insurance. Tech couldn't but assured me the paperwork I would be given I could submit. Insurance turned down the paperwork because no diagnosis or procedure codes on it so out $75 for two of us although my insurance pays for flu shots because tech did not know how to run it or bill it!!!
