Now Walgreens! Still featuring an incompetent pharmacy staff! I would rather go to Shoprite to get my prescriptions filled but don't really feel like dealing with the business of the store. I will say if I give them my script they will fill within the time I'm told. However, NEVER give them a script for them to hold onto and put in their system, they mess this up for me every time and I have to call and explain dates to them (like a week is 7 days) my prescription is for two weeks they want to give it to me in a month...no that's not how it works. I was told by a tech I was ready for a refill but she was looking at the wrong medicine and my doctor isn't close and I have to drive back to the city to get the matter fixed. Nobody lasts here long, as soon as they get someone who know what they are doing they leave and it's a shame because it doesn't seem like anybody there cares.

I went to this Rite Aid to pick up a Western Union money transfer for $150 with my mother. It was about 9:15 pm. The clerk didn't know how to process the Western Union transaction, and I used to manage a Rite Aid so I politely walked her through the transaction. The manager came up to the front, looked at the screen and asked if we were sending or receiving money. I told him we were receiving, and he said they couldn't complete the transaction because he had just changed the drawer and there wasn't enough money. First of all, why are you changing the drawer just before the shift ends? You should wait until the store closes and then reconcile the drawer. Secondly, you offer Western Union services but you don't have enough money for someone to receive $150? It's total BS because he could have borrowed $150 from the safe and paid it back at the end of the night. The manager was really unprofessional, was not wearing a name tag, and refused to give his name. All I know is that he was missing an eye, and he was wearing the wrong shade of blue. Since he didn't do anything to satisfy the customer, my mother and I had to race to Edgewood to go to the next Western Union before it closed at 10 pm. Overall, this Rite Aid experience was terrible & I will NEVER go to this Rite Aid again.
