Did not receive any customer service the employees were busy talking to one another. They more so cater to white people to be honest. Even when I asked a question just to see if I would get any service the female just pointed me to a section. I definitely won’t be going back in there and don’t advise people of color to either.

Booked an appointment over a month out and the stylist called me the day of to reschedule. I booked this appointment to style my hair for an event, so rescheduling was not an option. It would have been professional to give more than two hours notice that she couldn't do the appointment time I had requested over a month ago.

This past Thursday, 11/30/23, I made a last minute stop at Ulta to see if I could find a different foundation. I was leaving the next day to. Go on vacation and was just not happy with how my make-up looked and desperately needed something different to take with me, however, time was not on my side.As soon as I walked into Ulta, Taylor Schindhelm greeted me with a smile from ear to ear, and very sweetly asked if I needed help finding anything. I then explained about the frustrations I was having using my current foundation and asked if she had any recommendations on what line of foundation would be best for my skin and still provide me with full coverage. She then quickly picked out some options for me and instantly fell in love with Chanel’s make-up line. Taylor color matched me and I ended up walking out of there with new products that I couldn’t have been more tickled about! Taylor was so helpful and accommodating, that I hadn’t noticed the store had already closed. I immediately apologized for taking up so much time and thanked her for not ever making me feel like I needed to leave when the store had closed. As a matter of fact, it was because of her sweet demeanor, that I had no idea how late it was. Taylor not only helped me navigate the store, but she made me feel like I was asking too many questions or taking up too much of her time. She was absolutely wonderful!

The manager at this store named Marianna is very rude and disrespectful to customers. She started off answering the phone in a horrible mood and continued her behavior throughout the conversation. I was telling her I purchased a product a month ago that was buy one get one free same product and what I thought was same color. Today when I was going to open the second one I noticed the color was not the same. I went in to exchange for the right color and the girl charged me the difference so ultimately voiding the sale I got a month ago. I called the manager when I got home because that didn’t seem right. If I were getting something different or wanted my money back I would expect to only get the sale price but for an even exchange seemed ridiculous. The manager started off rude when she answered the phone and continued with the attitude through out the call. At some point I said to her so let me get this straight because some idiot put the color back in the wrong place I’m being penalized. She said we are not going to tolerate you calling someone an idiot I said I’m referring to someone that picked it up and rudely put it back in the wrong place not an employee. I’m an adult it isn’t her job to tell me what I can and can’t say I wasn’t yelling or cussing or even raised my voice. I certainly wasn’t calling her or anyone in particular an idiot I was making a general statement. I spend a fortune in this store every year and am completely done. Usually everyone at this store is nice but as long as she’s the manager I won’t be back!

To preface, I wear minimal/no makeup 99% of the time so I walked in to get a few products for my wedding feeling totally out of my comfort zone. Logan was seriously fantastic and walked me through picking out everything I was looking for! Thank you!

Could’ve been great except that I had to call (5 hours after the order) to see if my pickup order was ready (it was, but not sure when they were going to let me know).In addition to not telling you when the order is ready, it’s also it’s too difficult to have the store’s open hours match curbside pickup hours so after following up on my order, and not being able to get it curbside because I was outside of the hours (could’ve been inside the hours if they would’ve notified me that the order was ready), apparently a confirmation email (account look up with my phone number, etc.) wasn’t enough proof that it was my order. So I had to go back out to the car to get a photo ID—when they just could’ve apologized for not notifying me that my order was ready for pick up and made it simple.Common sense is just not common sense.

My wife and I went to Ulta Beauty to pick up five or six items our daughter asked us to get for her wedding day. Even though the products are extremely well organized on the shelves, we were only able to find 2 items on our list. We were struggling to find the rest! That is when I had the brilliant idea to ask one of the store associates for assistance. She was a pro! We gave her our list and within 45 seconds she had happily gathered up the rest our items. Ulta Beauty has a huge selection of products and as I said, they are very organized, but if you have never been in the store and looking for a specific item, make sure to ask.

I had a horrible experience getting my brows done from a woman named Imani. One I was on time for my appointment and then she took another person and told me there was a mix up and I had to wait. I thought this was very unprofessional considering I arrived on time for my appointment and I had to walk around the store for 10 minutes waiting for her to finish with what seemed to be a late appointment or a walk in. Then when doing my brows she ripped chunks of my skin off. I mean a huge line of chunks under my eyebrow. The wax was not hot enough and it was excruciating when she was smearing it in my eyebrow. She then started blaming it on my skincare and told me it was my fault for the skincare I had or that I was “allergic” to the wax she used. I informed her that I had been getting my brows done here for years and was never affected this bad by the wax before and she then interrupted me and told me rudely that “skin changes over time and that’s why” which was obvious she was just blaming me for it instead of taking accountability herself for it. She was also rushing through my appointment so fast and that’s why it hurt so bad and why it ripped. I will never be getting my brows done here again which is sad because as I said I had been getting them done at ulta for years. Ulta do better at hiring these people

Nice store with a lot of variety of beauty items, such as perfumes, make-up, and other beauty items. Great store, very clean, and they have a variety of people on the floor to help customers with questions, trying beauty items before purchasing, and lots of other great things.

The brow person, Imani is fantastic. She knows her stuff and helped me with a skin regimen that is working for my super-sensitive skin.
