Quest is my go-to lab. The techs are very gentle and efficient and the Bel Air location is right next to the hospital, making it very convenient.

Kiosk not working properly for signing in. People came in after and was taken before. There's no one at front desk to speak with you have to keep knocking until someone stops what they are doing for assistance

The technician was preparing to take my blood when the processor lady came in and starting yelling at her. She left and before e could get done with me she came back in the room and was being very rude. Then she left and went into the hallway and starting yelling at someone else. My technician took everything in stride and completed her job with me with my great satisfaction.

The last 3 times I had blood draws I told them I have NOT been with BC Carefirst for 2 years now. Each time they update it in the computer yet every year BC Care First gets billed by them and BCCF sends me an EOB saying how much I owe out of pocket. Maybe Quest just needs to hire a Computer Specialist to trace it to where the disconnect is. How much could that fix possibly cost?

Ms. Lisa was so sweet! She was very patient and understanding when I told her about my fear of needles. She was so friendly and her smile was contagious. I will ask for Ms. Lisa's schedule before I make my next appointment. She was the very best! I had asked to have the blood drawn from my hand. She asked why. I told her I haven't had blood taken from my arm in years, however, I have lost 35 pounds already this year. She put the band around my arm and said there is one in there that's deep that she was sure she would get and to please let her try. I trusted her. Not only was she successful in getting 2 tubes of blood, but I didn't feel a thing!!! I cannot remember the last time I had blood taken from my arm! She just made my day, and made me feel really good about losing those 35 pounds! Ms. Lisa, THANK YOU HONEY! I will see you again in 3 months! <3

Whenever I've gone to the Quest located near me, I get in quickly. I rarely make an appointment, but the last time I did. I still ended up getting there about 40 minutes early. I went in anyway hoping to get in early. There was one of the check-in machines down, but was told it was expected to get fixed that day. I didn't mind the wait, I actually felt I was there early for a reason. There were two people that came in at two different times. They had no idea how to use the check-in, but I was happy to teach them, and gratitude was a nice thing to receive. The waiting room was pretty full but the service was very quick. I was taken in on time and everything was done quickly. A pleasant experience.

Worker was very cold. They should be warmer to help relax the patient. Patients are often full of anxiety when they come in for bloodwork.
