The Mill of Bel Air is the only place I go for my dog food. Why, because they are the only local store that carries dog food that is actually good for your dog. No soy meal, fish meal, beef meal and others. I pay a little more for the dog food. Forty dollars for a 28lb bag. I know I know WoW. I have a smaller dog, 50lbs. It doesn't hurt the budget to hard.

I stumbled across this place to purchase fertilizer and grass seed. The people here are not only friendly, but super knowledgeable and if they don’t know the answer, they know someone that does! I will be using the mill as my go to place for anything lawn and garden!!

I’ve come into this store many times and had an okay experience but today around 11 AM i was in, i was not greeted or asked if i needed help. I can deal with that but when i walked up to the register, there were zero customers at the counter and two employees standing there. I stood in front of the counter awkwardly waiting while the one employee was on her phone and the other one just stared at me for awhile until she decided that i guess she would ring me up.
Honestly it made me feel kinda of uncomfortable and i will not being shopping here anymore.

As a professional gardener and landscaper with my own small business, I can't begin to say how grateful I am to have The Mill as a source of so many of my needs and the needs of my clients.
I travel all over Harford and Baltimore counties and use almost all of their different locations. The selection is so much better than what you might find elsewhere and great quality of product as well.
The staff in every store is just wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and willing to help. I'd like to point out John Vinson, their turf expert - who not only had a vast wealth of knowledge and experience, but is a really good guy who has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to share advice and guidance with any lawn questions or problems that I've brought to him. I'm a better gardener because I've listened and learned from him.
You'll do well to stop in for your garden and landscape needs and keep an eye out for their seminars etc.
They make beautiful lawns and gardens fun and easy.

Excellent Canas. One we bought has started blooming 3 days later. They're really good specimens. We always get our wild bird seed here. It's good quality & the birds love it.
