Mimi is great! When my bridesmaids dress came in less than a month before I needed it, Mimi was able to do a fitting the same day it came in. She worked on the dress quickly and had it ready in a short amount of time. Her alterations were flawless! She was communicative and wonderful to work with. Definitely will be returning for any future alterations!

I’m so glad I discovered Mimi at Kroh’s Cleaners. She did a fantastic patch and repair on the sleeve of a brand new North Face hoodie that my dog had accidentally torn. The hole has since been patched and heavily reinforced :) You saved my new favorite hoodie! She returned my hoodie to me nicely hung up and protected in plastic, too. Mimi altered two dresses for me- an almost denim weight sundress and a chiffon evening gown. The two couldn’t be more different.For the sundress I asked to replace the spaghetti straps w inch wide straps and move them out towards the shoulders (for more of a three season jumper). She took the material from the hem and re-hemmed the dress. The dress has a very fine stripe, which the designer intentionally changed direction on the bust, placket, and waist panels- this detail was not overlooked my Mimi, and she chose a complementing direction for the new straps. Hem was perfectly even, dress everything I’d hoped it could be.So obviously, when my winter wedding guest dress arrived a bit too short for ‘floor length’, seeing Mimi was a no-brainer. She took in the waist and made it tea length instead- and the dress is even more fabulous now.If you’re in need of alterations and/or dry cleaning near Bel Air, go to Kroh’s. Mimi is an amazing seamstress! I'm 5' tall and bought a wedding dress that was probably made for someone who was 5'10" (it didn't come in petite sizes). The hemline and bottom of the sleeves had a ton of beading detail, so Mimi essentially had to take the dress apart in order to shorten everything.The dress turned out perfectly and she was able to complete the dress a month before my wedding. Knowing that Mimi was busy with other wedding dresses, I'm so thankful she was able to squeeze me in and take on this task.The dress also came with a stain, so her team cleaned and pressed the dress.Thank you, Mimi!!
