Gina did my nails and was SO fast. And I’m not saying that in a good way. She watched TikTok live shopping channel on her phone with ear plugs in the whole time and just didn’t seem like she really even cared. I got dip nails because she convinced me to and a week later the tip randomly popped off. I won’t be returning. Just felt like another number to Gina… don’t know if she should be in a role where it’s customer based. I will say the atmosphere is really pretty though

On 12/28/24 Tony applied a Dip manicure to my nails. Less then 24 Hours one of my nails split. Tony had applied the dip to a broken nail, the dip did not fix my broken nail. I had told him to cut my nails down prior to my manicure. He proceeded by applying dip to my broken nail. This made no sense to me but he ignored my request to cut down my nails. When I returned to the salon requesting that he cut down my nails again he ignored my request and applied more Dip
to my broken nail and proceeded with applying polish to my broken nail. He denied that he applied "Dip" to my broken nail and was very rude.

I had originally gave this place a 5 star review because they had went above my expectations. Gina is still an amazing nail tech in my eyes. However I have not had her since my 1st time. And on this day particularly this is why my review has changed to a one star. First normally I don't make appointments if I am in the area I just come in. On this day the receptionist I believe was a young Caucasian lady seemed like she had an attitude. Her greeting wasn't warm nor welcoming and I could over hear her talking to the other staff telling them " that isn't my job" and giving more attitude. I was than given the nail technician Tom to do my nails. I should of known from the jump that this wasn't going to be a great experience for how he rushed my pedicure. When it came down to pulling skin away with their tools he went down to deep. I yelled "ouch" and he showed no regard to the pain he caused me. He proceeded to keep doing my toes and pulling the skin after I told him again he went down to deep. Normally I can close my eyes and relax for a pedicure but this particular time I couldn't. I was so upset because I waited to get a pedicure for so long so I could come here. When it came to the massage part my toddler could of did a better job than he did. Than he didn't even tell me it was an extra charge to take off my gel polish. I am big on customer service and today just wasn't giving 5 star review in my eyes for this place anymore. Maybe if I was to stick with Gina I wouldn't had these issues. However this is what happens when you get random nail techs who don't take their time satisfying your needs. The man at the desk did take off the 5 dollars for the extra charge since I wasn't told prior about it. However I was mentally already over this place and that didn't help make me feel better. I spoke so high of this place and even sent customers to them but now I have to find a new nail salon. The only way I would come back is if I only make an appointment with a nail tech I trust but after this day I'm not too sure if I want to give this place anymore of my energy and time.

Edward worked on my feet and Gina did my nails. Both did a wonderful job. The salon was amazing and they graciously fit me in without an appointment, as it was one of the busiest nail days of the year! I highly recommend this nail salon.

I've been twice now for Gel X manicures/ gel pedicures and both times I was very pleased! I really only get my nails done for vacations and special occasions and both times, Jack nailed it. I've had pretty mediocre experiences in many salons in Bel Air and think a lot of that was me just not making an appointment and getting stuck with whoever was available. Luckily, my first appointment was with Jack and was really great and he even remembered me when my mom went to see him 4 months later! He did my nails just recently for my daughter's wedding and they were absolutely stunning, I've never been happier. My mom and now my daughter are both happy clients. 😁

My second visit to Happy Nails. I received the Gel-x manicure and couldn’t be happier. Jack is my nail tech and I cannot say enough good things about him. Does a wonderful job and is so welcoming. The establishment is beautiful, very clean and everyone is so friendly. Jack is my guy but if he wasn’t available I would take Gina. She is going to do my Grandaughter’s nails today for her wedding. I’m sure she will do a beautiful job also.
Specialities: Gel-X nails
Cleanliness: Very clean and beautiful
Stylist: Jack did my nails and he is wonderful!

First, let me start by saying that the availability to be seen was great. I called at 10:15am, asked for an appt that same day, and they were able to get me in for an 11am appt. The place itself is very nice looking.
As for my service, my pedicure was one of the worst I have ever had. The nail technician decided to dig a tool into the side of my big toe, “to remove an ingrown nail.” If nail technicians have any experience, or knowledge (which they should in this business), they would know that an ingrown toenail is not something you just dig out. It needs to be carefully removed. These things are professionally done sometimes, depending on the severity by a podiatrist. NAIL TECHNICIANS SHOULD NEVER REMOVE INGROWN TOENAILS. Shoving a tool into the side of my toe to remove is NOT at all how you go about it anyways. It started to bleed thereafter and as I noticed and started to analyze my toe, he kept saying “it’s okay” at least 4/5 times. I responded back to him, “My toe is now susceptible to infection because of the skin barrier being broken.” It’s not OK.. as he continued to proceed to tell me multiple times. Now, if I did have an ingrown toenail, it should be brought to my attention first, and then ask if I would like them to attempt to remove. Otherwise, work around it as best as you can to provide me with a pedicure.
Fast forward to later in my pedicure, my toenails were jagged around the top part of my nail. I said are you going to file those? He then proceeded to do so.. I felt at this point I couldn’t even relax because I had to make sure my pedicure was going to be completed correctly. As you can see in the one picture, where my nail starts, you can see a jagged edge on my little toe, with it half painted. Additionally, to add I see this has happened before with another customer.
This pedicure upset me so much, considering I paid $70 for it, for a wedding and I came out with a throbbing toe that is now sore. Pictures are below. I would like to be compensated back for this pedicure. Awaiting the companies response - I would like to be contacted at the # I provided when I signed up. I had an appt 10/9 @ 11am, under the name Sarah. Thanks.
