I wish Ida left a review 3yrs ago when I swore off this BB. Long story, I bought an item online. They were to deliver it, but when I went to the store for something else I decided I'd take it home. They wouldnt let me have it! Literally. It was behind the counter and they wouldn't give it to me, despite me having already paid for it. It was long drawn out and I actually canceled my entire order and swore never to set foot in the store again. 3yrs later I'm back. And the customer service isn't any better First I go to the computer area, explain the issue (having exhausted my friends' knowledge and a cursory search on the internet I figured I had to go to the "experts") and am directed to purchase item X. I explain that based on my research I'm pretty sure it won't work. He insists it will so (gaslit) I drive back home, plug it up. It doesn't work. I drive right back. Take it to the guy, explain that it didn't work. He says it's my computer. I say perhaps, but...do the configuration, here in the store, to show me what it is that I've done wrong. He won't. I even bring out my laptop from my backpack and ask him to do it. He won't. I get a "lead" person to make him do it. And it doesn't work and he doesn't know why I go to the geek squad. The guy says "oh. You need item Y, not X. And though his jargon sounds a bit better than the previous, I'm still wary, because my logic says it won't. But I exchange X for Y and go home and try it. Doesn't workFlustered and perturbed, I get back online and for the next 30min I research the problem. Finally someone with the same issue is on Reddit and provided a solution...item found at Amazon of course. Ordered and delivered same day...my problem is fixed...no thanks to Best BuyToday, I go back, to return item Y. I then Go to the laptop area to explain to the laptop guy what I really needed so he could have this info if another customer comes with the same problem. He wasn't there. But there were 3 young men behind the counter. At 1:30ish the area was empty except me, and two customers that one of the guys was helping The other 2, literally just stood still, talking to one another while I stood looking at them, and then to cables, and looking like I needed help. They made zero move to ask, help, come over. Even looked me in the eye and kept talking. After about 5min...which is a LONG time to stand and chat while someone is standing waiting for help. I finally walked away I DID go to the geek side, and the guy there today-(not the same as guy yesterday ) listened to the scenario and we came to the agreement of what I'd discovered on the internet. (At least one person had sense)Finally I tried to call BB to share my experience w a manager. The phone line doesn't give an option to speak to a manager but connected me to a person out the country. When I asked if she was in the store she said no. So I asked could she connect me to the store. She asked why. I said because I would like to talk w a manager. She said she had to know WHy before she could connect me. I told her "cause I want to talk". She insisted that she needed a reason before connecting, so I told her to "make one up". She wouldn't. So I told her "I'm going to make something up. I want to compliment them on the layout of the store. So, now that you have a reason, you can connect me". She then told me the manager wasn't available. Hmm. What if Ida left a personal item at r the store, and wanted someone to see if it was there...how would I get connected? Guess I'm back to boycotting them again.

I wanted to give no stars for Best Buy. I went there to purchase a Samsung frame TV which were out of stock so Rodney showed me an LG that he said was better and he showed me all of the frames that are available. So I said I would take it since it had matted frames. Upon getting the the home there were no frames available. I tried to call the store but there is no way to contact the store. I called LG and they told me that only the store model has frames by using a flash drive for customers to view. I went back the store the next day to address the situation and was met with the he worst customer service by Rodney and the manager who's name I do it remember! Goodbye Best Buy!

TLDR; Terrible customer service by Mike, the store manager! I have been shopping at this location for 10 years now and all of my interactions with other managers have been exceptional! All it takes to get a 1-star is a manager like Mike. I'll be changing my 5-star Google review to a 1-star as well. Full story:I ordered an Apple Watch Ultra online and due to unavailability, I had to order it open box, excellent condition. The order was delayed 4 times and my 2-day shipping turned out to be 13 days. When I received the order, it was missing the box which as per the description should've been there (or a suitable replacement). The watch and a charger came in a generic box and the watch was uncleaned and poorly wrapped. I called Best Buy and they checked the location and told me to go to this Best Buy as they have it in stock. I was told they would do an exchange. And I told them there seems to only be new conditions available, I was told a store manager can override this and do an exchange. However, Mike declined this request and was not even willing to hear the story. Instead, started accusing me of buying items open box just to exchange them with new condition; When he could clearly check my order date and see they did not have the new in stock. He could also have checked my order date and delivery date (i had email proof of each delay notification). He was ignorant, stopped responding to me and just walked away after he said "its not his store's fault".

Customer service was the worse yet. I asked if an item was available while in the store. Online says they do. 3 different employees I asked said I don't know, and none offered ti find out. This was not an item they keep out for you to grab and take to the front I was told I had to wait in line to ask someone at the cashier. Ridiculous.

Horrible customer service. I would say heavy set gentleman but he was far from a gentleman so heavy male was extremely rude. Lazy , didn't wanna help. Female manager was nasty as well. Plenty of other Best Buy's , I suggest going to one where the employees aren't nasty and lazy.

Terrible attitudes when answering the phone. I can't believe they are still in business. I got hung up on twice because I asked the same question twice. The lady was in a terrible mood to begin with, both people on the geek squad have been used to helping people but not these two, they knew nothing about car installation or make and models, it was like a different language to them when I said mercedes e320 base model with base system. It ended up taking so long for the bare minimum set up that I just quit the whole thing. Went to above da rim and not only were they cheaper they Detailed the car too for free!!!!

Worst experience, purchased a refrigerator and delivery plus removal of my old refrigerator. 4,600.00 Delivery came and the two delivery men decided that since my sweet dog was out when they pulled up, (I put the dog in the bedroom and shut the door) walked back outside and they said they are not delivering it because they feel I dis-respected them by having the dog out, which frankly I didn't think about. They left and did not deliver. I have been calling for 2 days from work and have been on eternal hold. I have to leave work and go there to get this resolved. Horrible Place.

Just bought a Samsung TV. Geek squad support from Chris Perouty of the Bel Air store was exceptional. Knowledgeable, personable, concise, organized, and efficient.

Julius was very professional and came over to explain how they were able to restore my iPhone so I didn’t have to buy a new one. He let me know how to back it up so I didn’t lose anything - He was a big help! Very quick turn around too.

THEY GAVE MY PHONE WATER DAMAGE Today 4/13/21 I went to get a screen protector put on my phone at first they were very nice it took a whole 20 minutes for them to put ON A SCREEN PROTECTOR ALL SEEMED WELL UNTILL I GOT HOME CAMERA FOGGED OVER! I turned right around back to the store phone giving me errors saying water in charging port I brought it back to them they said there is nothing they could have done to cause that. Took my phone to the repaired shop next door they said someone tampered with the seal most likely spilled something on it then tried to open it and dry it out I'm FURIOUSE I will be calling corporate tomorrow ASAP ! HOPEFULLY THEY WILL MAKE THIS RIGHT !!
