I've only had one experience here and it was my last. The only reason they don't get a single star is it's good to have a place with import paints. That said, the place is dirty. The floor feels like you're sliding around because it hasn't been swept or cleaned maybe ever. The merchandise isn't out. It's often still in the box that it was delivered in and the staff doesn't even know what they have. I asked if they carried Tamiya paints and the older man behind the counter said no. I continued to look around and lo and behold, I found some...still in the box on a shelf! I wish the experience lined up with other people's. It is like a stereotypical "nerd" basement disguised in a storefront.

New Store: I felt necessary to update my once 5 star review (kept it at bottom for reference). They moved a couple of years ago to the new location for factors out of their control. I was very sympathetic when the move occurred. However, the new location is just in a horrible place where things have traditionally gone on to die (check that shopping center history). The store is significantly smaller and feels extremely cramped. The atmosphere I once felt from the old place is all but gone. It really saddens me. Everything from stock of product to the old massive game space has all changed. Even some of the workers no longer show that positive energy the old location once had. I hope to see them one day be able to recommit to a larger space and bring back that old feel. :(
Old store Review (2018): Great gaming store. Most staff are pretty friendly and helpful. Strong gaming community for MTG as well as other games.

Great experience buying Lorcana booster box and starter decks here. They didn't sell them for way over MSRP like most other LGS's. They've earned my business for more Lorcana items when I'm ready to buy.

I highly recommend Bel Air games for anyone that loves table top, role playing, or card games. My son participated in one of their starter leagues and he has been ecstatic about it ever since. The owner and employees there are the epitome of kindness and generosity. The place itself is filled with a welcoming warmth and friendliness that makes it a treasured spot in our community. Highly recommend!

It's my opinion that places of business should carry a degree of professionalism. My last time in there, the person I understand to be the owner was very outspoken about his politics. Personally, I got into the hobby as a way to escape a lot of those tensions. I have shopped at critical hit games for a couple years, have gamed there on several occasions. Never once heard an uttering of political rhetoric from employees or staff. That's the way it should be. If I know your political affiliations (whatever they may be) 5 minutes after stepping foot in your store, you're doing it wrong. Haven't been back since and tell people I know to stay away. I go out of my way to stay away from this place.
