If I could give below a one star. I would. The Verizon shop on Fleet Street in Baltimore, Maryland provides poor customer service. The staff is quite unprofessional, and the management lacks effective leadership. I waited 10 minutes for two staff members to stop talking about a celebrity's child and the youngster's lack of talent in a Lion King show. The employee with the incredibly long braids was impolite and appeared upset that I was still waiting to be served while they continued their talk. After a moment, she directed me to the manager, who lacked professionalism. Overall, the customer service experience was horrible. Please don't waste your time visiting. You've been warned.

A review for my fellow introverts: 5 stars is entirely accurate.
Immediately welcomed by two reps from the front desk. One rep was busy helping a customer; the other was Justin, who asked how he could help. I'm one of those introverts who will call the store while in the store rather than interrupt someone to ask for help. Their approach eliminated all the usual stress.
Justin helped in the way a friend would advise you - true pros and cons without pressure. Simply information and his personal experience. He listened and asked the right questions without bias.
It's really a seamless team effort. When Justin went to the back, another rep instinctively stepped in just to be present for availability.
Sorry for the long story. I will stop here, but there is so much more good stuff. They really are an extraordinary team.

Store does not accept Fios equipment return. There are no places to return home Fios equipment in the city, very disappointed.

Went in and was told that my phone had a hardware issue and might need to be replaced. Update the software and if the problem persists, bring it back and they would fix it. I updated the software, brought it back and the new guy behind the counter said I would have to call tech support and there was nothing they could do in store. He refused to take a look, and said if my wife’s phone was having the same issue that I should call Verizon about that one too. Family plan canceled.

Trash uneducated employees. Went in person to get my wife a phone as a birthday present and they couldn’t do it because they would need to send a verification code to her phone which would spoil the surprise…..The account is in my name alone mind you not hers. So me showing up in person wasent good enough.

Came into the store today to pickup my home WiFi order and the staff were amazing! I’m currently crutching around and the staff gave me a bag (even though they were limited) to help me carry the boxes. The also let me sit and wait for my Lyft as long as I needed and offered me water. The black man working at the time (I didn’t catch his name) waited while my lyft pulled up and even helped me carry the heavy bag with my items to my Lyft and handed them to me after I got in. Above and beyond customer service and hospitality! If you’re considering Verizon for service or any kind I would highly recommend this location!

Dylan and Wayne were fantastic! Wayne started me off upgrading my phone from start to finish. He is very good at his job, a great conversationalist, very professional, and made me feel well taken care of from start to finish. Amazing service and knowledge!
Dylan, the manager was also great and went above and beyond for me. They took good care of me upgrading my phone on a busy rainy day!

Important to note that this a corporate run Verizon store, and if you’re not an account manager or an authorized user they won’t be able to help you.I went in to get a new phone as mine is dying and was told that one of the account managers needed to add me as an authorized user before they could assist me. Manager said there was nothing they could do, and neither of the account managers could add me as they were getting new phones at the time. The manager at the store even spoke with one account manager on the phone but they weren’t able to do anything and repeated I had to be added in order to assist me. Would’ve been nice to know this was going to be an issue so I didn’t waste my time.

Return transactions went smoothly and quickly.Problem i had was that the employee that helped me did not greet me. I had to initialize the transaction.

Amazing experience!!! My phone was on SOS and I was very upset as it was Monday morning and I had a very busy week, and the store associate (I believe his name was John?) was a lifesaver! Super quick & very professional. Highly recommend
