This is the worst location by far. Imagine relying on a location to help you get your passport and for some odd reason the person who is over this can’t show up to their shift. You guys are ruining travel plans for my family and it’s ridiculous. So now we have to drive all the way to Washington, D.C. to complete this task. If the person doing the job can’t show up HIRE SOMEONE ELSE? Don’t let it fall on the customer to figure out a solution.

The staff lady got impatient when I tried to enter an email for the receipt, so she cut off the screen and said the system was down.
This office used to have a very friendly staff lady but have not seen her lately.

I mailed a bill inside the Hampden Post Office 2 1/2 weeks before it was due. It never made it to the destination and this isn't the first time that has happened. Another time a check was stolen from the same location, washed over and the payee forged and cashed it in Glen Burnie. According to our community newsletter, others in my neighborhood have had similar experiences.

My experience would be a lot better if they could find my package. They continue to lose my packages and it doesn't make any sense telling me that there's a package there and there's not and it you know. I don't know what's going on. Not happy though

As a long time resident, this Post Office is consistently one of the best in Baltimore. They are often understaffed and thus have many temps, but the regular personnel are caring & hardworking. The most common thing among the staff I have known is that they often get promoted to new positions elsewhere. I recently had 2 pkgs mis-delivered by a temp, but my regular carrier & his supervisor tracked them both down from a random house in the neighborhood in less than 30min. That is how knowledgeable and dedicated they are!

Perfectly predictable post office. Not unusual really. Not unusually good. Not unusually bad. Dark, underfunded, shabby, the people who work there seem like they’re just making it. Honestly like every US Post Office I’ve ever been to! The US is a bummer. Mail is very very important. This service should be handsomely funded. Maybe we could spare some billions from defense. I bet no one would notice except the corrupt people sucking money from our bloated ‘defense’ bureaucracy.

I literally came on here to counter the negative reviews. I don't know what people are expecting. But here's the truths: yes, they close for lunch. They have to eat, so that makes sense. The time they are closed is posted clearly in the door, and also online. It's an hour and 15 minutes, which seems reasonable to eat then clock back in. The people who work at this post office are super nice! I've only had pleasant experiences, and there's a guy with a long beard who plays cool music as well. It's clean and organized, and the employees are kind and seem to care.Exactly what more are we expecting? That they should never have a lunch? That's silly. It's a great post office. End of story.

I dropped a package off at this post office on a Saturday, I had to be in and out of there in about two minutes. The clerk was pleasant and efficient.

This is the worst post office I've ever dealt with. Constant issues, careless employees. The mail men/women can't even be bothered to put the mail IN my mailbox. They stick it on my gate, as though it's a gift for anyone passing by to easily grab. The package thieves in hampden are out in full force, and they are ballsy. Thanks to this location, they've set my mail out on a silver platter for these people.

Why in literal Judeo Christian God's name would a federal operation such as the post office be closed during peak mid day hours?????????? Incredible inconvenience for small business and working people!!!! How and why would any real business be closed at 1-2 pm!
