We have purchased soft sided water beds directly from the manufacturer United States Water Mattresses since the late 1980's. Hands down the most comfortable bed that you will ever sleep on. We recently purchased our third cover, new foam rails, and memory foam top as our last set up lasted 25 years. We had replaced the bladder eight years ago due to a move and not wanting to put in storage.It is not often that you get to speak with the owner of a company. Iftakir Malik was extremely knowledgeable and informative of the products that he manufactured and a non-aggressive salesperson pressuring us into a decision. We had several phone calls over the span of a couple of weeks until we made our decision with the memory foam top. He even offered to send us samples. Once the order was placed, We were sent tracking notification and a copy of the charge invoice as well as an email with his personal cell phone number telling us if there were any questions with disassembly of the old and set up of the new to call. Everything arrived in great shape and timely. We set the new bed up.Seven months later I unzipped the top to add conditioner to the bladder and noticed the memory foam top had a crack in it. We notified Iftakar, sent photos and he responded immediately. He emailed the foam manufacturer cc ing us. A new memory foam top was sent to us at no cost timely and under warranty. A pre paid pick up is being sent for the defective one for evaluation as to what went wrong.We have never experienced such awesome customer service before with any product. Most companies say " Oh this is the first time this has happened" and put you through heck to even get a warranty on their product if you can get one ! We give US Water Mattresses the highest of ratings to do business with in manufacturing the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep on and sold by the best customer service you will ever see.Seriously!Lisa and Patrick

US Water Mattress is a Bad Business Supplier!We have been sleeping on waterbeds now for more than 50 years. Well, we purchased a new pillow top waterbed mattress from Showman Furniture a little over a year ago (we have been their customer for many years) and it was all great until we experienced a problem. Now, the great service we thought we were receiving is questionable. The problem we experienced was black mold on the $2,000 mattress. The mold is on the underside of the bamboo mattress cover and the top of the waterbed (bladder) mattress. The first time this happened, we called Showman and was told they had never heard of this kind of problem. Wayne from Showman Furniture contacted the Manufacturer, US Water Mattress to be told that they needed to give us a sheet that was made of the same material as the waterbed (bladder) mattress. This took about a week to receive, no one was in a rush but us. We cleaned the mold as much as we could and began to use the sheet. Well, fast forward to almost a year later and we have the same problem. This time, we contact the Manager, Mike at Showman’s to be told the same thing, they have never heard of this type of problem. Wayne apparently never discussed the issue with Mike. Mike contacts the Manufacturer and is told that they do not cover mold. We called the Manufacturer and spoke to the Owner of United States Water Mattress, Mr. Molloc (sp). Mr. Molloc said mold is not covered under the warranty and he would only agree to sell us a cover. The cover is being sold to us at his costs which is still way more than we should have had to pay when we believe that they were aware of the mattress defect because they are trying to say that the mattress temperature must be at least 85 degrees (our mattress temperature was at 80). If you have ever slept on a waterbed, you know they can get hot from the heater. And, if that was not enough, US Water Mattress said that people who sweat at night could cause this type of problem. We believe the issue is the Bamboo cover. We are certain that both Companies (Showman Furniture and US Water Mattress) are aware of the defects. We now realize that neither Company is customer focused. US Water Mattress is charging us for a replacement cover and Showman Furniture wanted us to wait a week for the delivery of the replacement. Showman was also in no rush to get these issues addressed. Showman did however, decide to cover the replacement cost. We are frustrated and this is being shared to warn others to not do business with any company that has to rely on US Water Mattress. It is obvious that US Water Mattress is willing to deceive customers. We are out of $2,000! You have been warned—Buyer’s Beware!

You may also want to consider if you should do business with Showman Furniture because if there is a problem, they will be in no rush to resolve it. And, it is obvious that US Water Mattress is in the business of deceiving customers. We are out of $2,000! You have been warned--Buyer's Beware!

In response to the reviewer below I cannot imagine the company not fixing your problem. I have had excellent service and quality beds from them and I know for a fact they guarantee their craftsmanship and your satisfaction is important to them. So give them a call.

I've been robbed! Absolutely no quality control. I've been a waterbed user for over 30 years due to medical necessity. I purchased a bed from them 20 years ago, no problems. This new bed is the worst! Just built and the bed is leaning over the platform on the right side.
