Ordered the corned beef sandwich yesterday with peppers (I picked the toppings and there are many of options so if it looks a little plain that’s because I wanted it that way) next time I’m going to add more toppings now that I know it’s absolutely amazing! I go there almost every day for a piece of their carrot cake that is to die for and by that I mean it tastes great but for almost 5 dollars a piece the price almost gave me a heart attack ? It definitely gave me incentive to make a whole cake at home for the same price. Their inventory on perishables plus odds and ends are a definitely on the expensive side but they are conveniently close to my house although I am confused about the store hours saying 24/7 yet, every time I have walked there before 7am it has been closed. Can anyone clear this up for me so I don’t have to walk 6 blocks in the cold to a closed store. Thank you

Very childish and disrespectful boy working the register. Not only did my folks & I overhear him fussing at the elderly customer for their inaccurate prices, he continuously disrespected my friend’s pronouns, laughing and questioned if my hair was real. Convenient if you’re in a desperate situation. I advise African-American folks to choose elsewhere if possible. The disrespect occurs with kids & teenagers up to the elderly, it was clear with my brief experience. They need to tidy up as well, there were mice behind the counter the “chef” stands at. The audacity is disgusting.

I like this bodega and I just don't pay attention to their attitude at least they made my sandwiches delicious it is cool. That can happen at any bodega. I remember that I have asked for a Chopped Cheese which is should be on the menu by the way and they made it for me. So, I don't have any issues and the sandwich was good. Check the photos

Reasonably priced convenience store and deli servicing Mt. Vernon and the University of Baltimore. Good sandwiches and a solid selection of snacks and beverages. Aisles can be a bit tight. Certainly better than the chain stores.

I have been going there for since the first open. When I go and ask for a custom sandwich, a little of this a little of that. They always accommodate me and never complain. They are the best treating me like family. would recommend then.

As a resident of this neighborhood, the story i have about my visit 2 days ago is very telling about the owners of this store. I came into the store to purchase snacks and a smoke. I choose some chips, they had a label of 3.99, which i was okay paying. When i got to the register, the cashier rung them up as 4.99. I pointed out the label, and he called another employee for them to check another item of the same type. That alone was cause for alarm but i stayed calm. When it was confirmed that i did not alter the price ( i come here all the time so not sure why i would) i let the cashier know that instead of my roughly 15 dollar purchase, i would only get the cookies i selected. At this point the cashier told me that the machine was down and i couldn't buy anything. There were several people in the store so i calmly asked "well if the machine is down, why are you only telling me?" They insisted the machine was down so i let someone in front of me, at which point they said "oh it's working again". I believe that reaction was rude, unprofessional and racially motivated. There are other options in the area where you can get better treatment and cost for the same material. Please avoid these people at all cost.

The gentleman cooking didn't acknowledge I was standing there waiting for service for minutes. Food was processed garbage. Hash brown was a hash brown out of a box. The so called bacon was a wierd circular shape. Tasted very salty and dry. Ridiculous for 8 dollars. Do not eat here. Go for packaged goods.

Low quality convenience store plus would be the best way to describe this place. There are a few groceries/household items here and it can come in handy in a pinch when everything else is closed but otherwise it's just another run-down convenience store. The place is really not clean and basically nobody inside (staff or customers) was wearing masks despite a city-wide indoor mask mandate. The prices here are quite high as anyone would expect from a convenience store and the products are all pretty low-quality generic brands. Unless you're very desperate go somewhere else. OK Natural foods is just around the corner, has a lot of similar items that are way better quality and lower prices. Plus it's a lot cleaner and everyone is always masked. If you can't get what you need there go to Safeway or Streets (each about a mile away).
