This is the worst system ever, I have been trying to get my unemployment since July. They dont tell you how to work the beacon, then they add different things. They refuse to let me talk to a supervisor. Everyone call your local congressman, and write to the Governor. We have earned this money. I have worked the same job for over 12 yeaes, then 16 years. They have not sent me one check yet. I believe its a system so they dont have to pay out. We all need to fight back for our rights.

Horrible.. I was told that there was a fraud on my account. It would take up to six months to fix. I contacted my congressman and the governors office. Finally I guess unemployment office heard from them, and finally scrubbed my account. The reps of the unemployment office that answer the phones they do not have a clue on how to do their job. Every time I call they cannot tell me the answer. That call center for unemployment is a joke. The system needs to be fixed by the governors office. Or whoever to it takes to fix, I have talked to many people and read many reviews they were all stating the same thing. The system needs to be fixed.

Three months and counting, family of seven to feed, no electricity, no food, no, running water. And you’re telling me that there’s not a supervisor I can speak with the elevate the status of my “pending” claim? No you just receive tickets and respond? No specifics as to why it’s pending? No recourse other than call back later to check again? No supervisor on the call floor…really…And your smart little comment about not finding out where you really work, to speak with a supervisor in person, is about to blow up in your face cause I’m in route to your call center. For you lovely ladies and gentlemen on this message in chain, do take note that the actual call center address is:500 North Calvert St. Suite 401 Baltimore, MD 21202And for the record, you dont tell a Counterintelligence Analyst the he can’t find someone…

I did not ask to be laid, was told that there would be no issues because we closed for renovations and would be called back. It has been nothing but problems and going on 8 weeks with no pay. I ad to prove my identity three times with promises of this fixing the issues. Pft

You have the worst customer service and your process is trash. There is always a disconnect from your employees and I have to wait from weeks to months to connect with someone.

I have been unemployed for for er 5 months and have not received anything. I HAVE CALLED EVERYDAY SINCE JULY. Nothing but run arounds I have tried finding a new job but because I am in school I do not have the open hours. I call then it hangs up.. when I finally get an agent they say I have action items… then they say I need to verify more information. I have sent documents pay stubs all of it. I am behind on rent…bills…and now they are just blocking my calls I cant even call them anymore.

Where do I start. We are entitled to thr money the federal government approved for us & we can't even get it. My acct payments are on hold because they need info from a former employer...info they JUST got a month ago. When you call the number to get a live agent, you have to call thousands of times a day & you still may not get someone. If you do, they can't do anything for you but create a ticket. A ticket that takes them months to address. The system is so screwed up & it seems as if no one cares. Governor Hogan is well aware of the situation & does NOTHING FOR US! Ms. Robinson, the director, does not answer emails, no one does. We are stuck without pay right now. Can't pay rent or other bills. People taking their lives because of the stress. This has got to change.

I agree with the previous reviewers. Ten years ago this was much easier and the employees were far more helpful. Now I can't get responses to emails and letters. It's hard to get through on the phone, and the Beacon website is not very user friendly when one is locked out of it.

I have been waiting since December for someone to call me and helpe with my case. I've literally called everyday and have had representatives hit me with the same explanation "You have to get a call from an adjudicator " smh While the people who committed fraud get their payments, the people who actually need it can't even get a call back smh What is really going on here?

Inactive status on Beacon Portal all of a sudden! No email, snail mail, or phone call for the reason! I was asked to change my payment preference and after that I was locked out the system to file my next weekly claim. This was May 2021 and still no response!. If anyone is monitoring this message please help.My bills are behind and I'm in jeopardy of losing stability. Also please do a check on the employers trying to staff their offices. I was hired for a position, was told to start on Wednesday and at 12 noon they said I can go and come back the next day same time. When trying to give the employer my Identification and other credentials she said she was too busy to take them. What is this world coming to! Because that was sketchy. Then she asked if I could come in the following day and Monday. In my opinion they need to be investigated if they want me to work in their office but not take at least my I'D...how will I get paid???? This whole pandemic has made me very untrusting. Still, I continue to interview but to getting there requires money. I really need your assistance.

Unemployment should be absolutely ashamed of themselves not answering the phones for customers such as myself. My payments have been on hold since December and still no payments! I’ve contacted the Congrass building and they didn’t help at all either. All the representatives are trifling and lazy! They all work from home remotely and can’t answer phone calls???? The purposely have the phones set up to tell customers they aren’t available at this time. This is ridiculous! People are out of work and need their money for their families during this time!!!! You all should be FIRED!!!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting.i've been laid off since may. Nothing is happening. The governor don't care that people are getting evicted and can't pay there bills.I cry everyday I don't even have words to express what I'm going through, I'm seriously on the verge of a nervous break down.I call damn near every day my payments are on hold, they so call put in a ticket everyday ,no call back no response, unbelievable.

Good Luck reaching a representative. Once they answer you better get a ticket number I was informed of after 4 months of calling. I'm waiting crazed on a call from adjudicator to call me. I've been waiting for months on this call! Told by one representative one thing, the next another and the cycle continues. Please call back at a time more convenient for you after pressing every prompt and waiting to hear repeated prompts to no avail...Beyond words with my level of STRESS ADD PATIENCE!

I’ve been locked out of my beacon login account since Monday evening, March 15, 2021, It’s now April and still nothing. My account is locked for security reasons. On March 15th I was notified to upload a photo identification and i uploaded my Maryland id and after that I was locked out of my account. Now trying to get in touch I’m calling and calling with no response getting the run around on telephone numbers to call that don’t work and saying there’s no one I can talk to. I find it unprofessional that I keep getting recordings and no tending to me, granted I understand I’m not only one trying get in touch, but it’s all very frustrating.
