The redwood has nice luxury apartments that are affordable, I loved the community but didn’t renew my lease due to roach infestation. Property manager was very nice and did send maintenance to exterminate every time I put in request but whole building needs to be exterminated! Other than that great place to live

My experience with The Redwood was amazing. I was referred to Michael and he did not disappoint. He gave me a tour and was very detailed about the space and application process. I was approved quickly and received my lease within 2 days. I'm grateful and happy to call The Redwood my new home.

Love this apartment. It has all the amenities and features I was looking for in DT Baltimore. Michael is extremely nice and was patient with me during my whole move-in process. The communication between him and I were great and he responded to all my questions and requests in a timely manner. The whole staff is professional. Great apartment for those looking to live downtown!

Updated review with 3rd star added—I lived here for 3 years. This building has had repetitive cockroach infestations in the past, in unit mold/fire hazards, a horrible maintenance reporting/servicing system (being addressed). I will go ahead and list off the issues with this building.Safety will be an issue in common areas. $500 bike was stolen INSIDE the building and LOCKED on the bike rack & building has done nothing to increase security (they used to have a night guard before COVID). We have trespassers regularly, building won’t claim fault (despite the lease as written violates current MD laws for disclaiming liability in common areas for lack of security). I have found homeless people sleeping in common areas. I have had my mail stolen in the secured package room as well.Mice are in the recycling area where my bike is … well was stored.... The "free coffee" machine is broken 50% of the time or is infested with ants (one time even came out of the spout into my drink). Free coffee is free coffee though, try the French Vanilla if you get a chance!I had a cockroach issue for 3 1/2 months while living here at one point...and my apartment is spotless. The building said my neighbors refused to let pest control enter…Even after dealing with this, my rent renewal for my 3rd year was quoted at a raised rate of $6-700. I was able to talk to the current leasing manager to only raising it by about $300 due to the amount of issues I have experienced.The unit above me had an evicted tenant, who actually used to be the former manager, who misappropriated tenants' funds to pay their own rent…..That unit had curtain/curtain rods hanging into my beautiful view. I had to email 3-5 times, make phone calls, and go in person to TRY to get anything to get anything resolved. 4-6 weeks later it was removed.The ButterflyMX system used to enter the building and elevators does not work consistently at the elevator entry, making it useless for guests to make it up without coming down.In unit dryer was broken for 2 months. Refrigerator was broken for 2 years. After posting my original review this was resolved thankfully.I have been stuck on the elevator before.The only thing really going for Redwood is the view, the square footage of the units, and the EXTREMELY kind employees in the leasing office!!!! They truly are trying their absolute best to make the Redwood a better place and community. However, be aware of what you’re signing up for.

I would like to thank jasmine for a truly amazing customer service she was very patient and helpful. She took her time showing me every option that fit my needs and wants, her personality is phenomenal I would recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a place to see. I just want to say Jasmine is the best thing about the Redwood. She is absolutely amazing and truly cares about the residents. I leased with her and by far it was the best leasing experience I had she did everything she could to get me the perfect unit at the perfect time.

Jasmine and Mike make sure to take care of roommate and myself. I am a resident at the redwood property on S. Eutaw and they have helped us with any problems or grievances we’ve had. We have been here for two different management teams and this one is by far the most helpful and my personal favorite.

The previous staff were good but new one are disappointing. They are not there in the office and no maintenance work is done. there was no water for 2 days and elevator was out for many months. Also the website says 24 hour availability but in reality there is nobody at reception even office hours and not on weekend, no security in the units. They charge more but service is 0

Zero security, elevator to parking garage doesn’t work for 4 months. Staff is rude and not helpful. The common areas dirty and coffeemaker has ants crawling , no cups. Gym equipment outdated
