Whenever I'm in the area, I make sure to swing by this store, and with each visit, it continues to impress me. The ambiance keeps improving, with a noticeable increase in inventory, cleanliness, and overall organization. Despite its petite size, the store boasts an impressive array of products. While prices may lean towards the higher end, it's understandable given the upscale location. It's evident that the staff responsible for managing and stocking the shelves are adept at their craft.

this place is soooo overpriced for no reason - my bag of grapes was 10 DOLLARS and when I asked to put it back, said no, so I was forced to pay for subpar grapes. never again

Convenient and (understandably) a bit pricey. Surprisingly good selection of the basics. The store is small but densely stocked. The cashiers are friendly and efficient. Their produce selection is bigger than I would have expected and generally decent or good quality. My biggest complaint is that the store smells strongly of mildew. Pay attention to the prices; some items are more expensive than others, like $12 frozen pizzas. I would also recommend that you double check the expiration date of everything as you put it into your basket - I've bought an expired item and a jar with a popped lid while I wasn't paying attention. Regarding another review's complaint, I've never witnessed any cold groceries sitting out for too long in the aisles waiting to be stocked. That said, milk is the only cold item I've bought here, but I've never had a problem with it. There is a small fee (5 or 10 cents) per plastic bag if you need them; their bags are very sturdy and larger than normal, so you could definitely reuse them. I included a photo of my recent receipt, which shows some of their prices.

For a grocery store claiming to be high quality and that’s why your prices are such. You need to do better, your in the vicinity of one of the Top Universities in the country. Most of your customers are those same students. You’re store is extremely unsafe at times. If any student or customer gets harmed in your store, you’ll have a much bigger issue than paying for better Security.

UPDATE. Shelves are fully stocked, and I found exactly what I wanted. I was ecstatic that I found anchovies in a jar (it's the little things count)! Unfortunately, the price of organic produce is steep or I would have been able to complete my entire shopping list there. I will definitely continue to shop there. Also, they might expand!LAST YEAR. As in all markets now, shortages were apparent. I couldn't find anything I needed there. The store is much cleaner than the old Eddie's that it replaced.

I like shopping at Street Market Café stores for the following reason:
- Great customer service. I never had a negative encounter with a cashier. They greet with a smile, make eye contact and accommodate my request, even when I’m being cheap by not trying to buy a shopping bag :).
- The fresh French baguette (that’s my favorite bread and I get it there fresh)
- They always have Freshly cut seasonal fruits and vegetables.
- Cleaned fish filet or steaks, cleaned shrimp, whole chicken, or cut chicken pieces and meat (Beef…). They also carry halal meat.
- I usually get the ready to go dishes like Salads, seafood, lasagna, beans, sandwiches, sushi, guacamole….
This store is smaller than the one on Charles Street. It doesn’t have the hot food bar. I find everything else though. They also carry regular groceries like canned food, pasta, spices, nuts, bread, cereal, eggs, cheese, milk, yogurt, sweets, cake, fresh juices, fresh flowers, plantains, protein shakes, utensils, corn flower, rice, tomato sauces, international spices, and sauce like siracha sauce along many varieties of fish.
Shopping at Street Market Café stores can be a little expensive, but it’s worth it to me because I get items that are ready to be cooked or eaten in a clean and welcoming store. Thanks ??

Bought 2 expired bottles of juice. That is the expiration date not the manufacturing date.
