I have both been a guest to a few events at Skylofts Gallery, as well as an employee there for many years! Eric Fondersmith is the owner, my boss and my friend. Every event is different, so it definitely keeps it interesting. I have met so many different, yet also pretty amazing people while working for Eric. My two youngest sisters just had their high school graduation parties at Skylofts this past June and they were both extremely happy with the set up and the staff. My mother was very impressed with what Eric had done for them as well. I absolutely give Skylofts Gallery & Studios five stars!! You should definitely keep Skylofts in mind and go check it out for any and all upcoming events you might have in the future, I promise you that you will absolutely not be disappointed!!!

Pro: Eric was accommodating to all my requests. When I got there I needed a few things addressed and they got done. Con: I think my bartender that was hired didn't know what to do and was still drunk from the night before. He couldn't open a bottle with a bottle opener, he was using wrong end. He also didn't give the people the drinks they asked for and changed the amounts of alcohol to less than standard shots. I believe he drank a lot of alcohol and asked me to cover the bar while he would leave to go somewhere a few times. The place isn't handicap accessible but my party was on the first floor.

They stole my gift! I was told they saw the gift via surveillance camera coming into the building and it was placed in my hand, but they didn't see me take it out of the building. I was also charged extra for items that I hadn't requested. They tried to get over on me, by charging additional fees after the contract was paid in full.

It is a nice place but it is not handicap accessible you have to walk up steps and pavement is not smooth entrance

I did not like the way it smelled when I first walked in and I had to climb a lot of steps to the top floor for the party I attended, it was okay.

This place is a gem! Held a party in the downstairs loft and it was awesome. Eric helped me plan it and was extremely attentive and helped me accomplish everything I was hoping for. Couldn’t have been better. Would definitely use them again without hesitation.

I had been to Skylofts before and was really impressed with it aesthetically so when I was put in charge of planning a party, I knew I wanted to have it there. This place is so nice! They were extremely helpful in assisting me in organizing the perfect gathering for about 60 of us. The owner had an answer/solution for every question I had and worked tirelessly to make things easy for me. It was gorgeous when I arrived! Should I need another event space I would definitely hold it at Skylofts again.

I didn't host the party I attended but the place is small outdated and the employees doesn't seem to know how to work anything or set up on time. They weren't rude but I would spend my money someplace else.

I gave my mom a surprise birthday party here in March 2022. Pro: Mr. Eric was very accommodating. My moms party was originally booked on the second floor( a party was already booked on 1st floor)Because of my mom's age Mr. Eric was able to switch our party to 1st floor. The price was very reasonable for all that I received. I loved the architect of the building (it added to the ambiance of our decor). Mr. Eric even threw in a couple extras at no cost to me. My mom and family really enjoyed themselvesNow for the Cons: Keep in mind i am not complaining. I am just making some observations on what i feel could have been done better. The skyloft staff could benefit from exercising time management. My party was booked from 3pm-7pm I was to arrive at 2pm to set up. Upon arrival the staff was still Breaking down and cleaning up from the previous party. They did not have all of the agreed upon decorations readily on hand. Staff to staff Communication about decor could have been better. They were looking for the table clothes....they just were not completely ready for me to set up my decor. Also during my mom's party Mr. Eric Decided to walk some potential customers through my mom's party. Of course I objected. I mean... I paid my money so that my family and I would privately have the use of that room. He then took the people through the side door into the event room behind mine but, one of the staff opened the French doors connecting the rooms knocking down the gold decor I had placed there. (see picture) I still do not understand why or what their reasoning was for the walk through of strangers or opening those doors during my moms private party. I was also told that the potential customers were also unnerved by this because they said it was unprofessional and would not want staff showing off the room they paid to occupy while their event was going on. Also I purchased the use of the projector to show my mom's pics on screen and it was not set up. When I went to go find Mr. Eric he was nowhere to be found. Eventually he came and set up the projector. All in all the party was a success except for the aforementioned bumps in the road. So... would I book them again YES because as I stated before I have no complaints just observations on why there should be improvements made in regards to time management and communication. So thank you Skyloft. My mom had a wonderful time.

They really came through for me for a surprise birthday party. The space was bigger enough for 40. Only downside is parking but other than that it's a G in my bioks. Thanks SkyLofts Gallery and Studio

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the venue itself is very nice but the owner is a mess, non-professional, unorganized and a get over. I WON'T EVER use this facility again. He tried to take my cooler and chafers as if they were his. He charged me $395 for a homemade 360 camera that we never received videos from and it would not stay charged. I believe the owner and his staff all get high and it showed. His staff was okay but that owner is a rip-off and he stayed at my party while there were 3 other parties the same night and time as mine. His staff was eating my food and his bartender was drinking my drinks. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
