Sherwin Williams in Homeland is one of the best SW in the Baltimore area. The Store Manager, Andrew T, is very patient, explains in great detail about the various paint products, and has a good sense of color. He is also extremely organized and always asks to place the room location on the paint, which is so helpful when you’re painting an entire house in multiple colors.
I’ve observed him interact with his employees and he treats them with respect and kindness. He’s a true team player.
I highly recommend you visiting his store (near Belvedere Square and Staples). I also highly recommend SW promoting him within the company.

Alex was so helpful! He helped me pick out the right paint needed for a cabinet project. He also offered insight on a few different colors that would match the Acacia color I chose. I really appreciated his expertise.

I visited this store yesterday morning to get supplies for a home project after five years of mostly going to the big box stores. This place is closer to my Rodgers Forge house. Brought a ridiculously small and discolored paint chip from my wall to begin figuring out an approximate match. The young man who served me offered two possibilities. Fingers crossed!Hours later, having breezed through the project with their recommended roller and paint, I am stunned at how perfectly the color I bought matches its neighboring hallway walls. Will return for future projects, for sure.

I take one point off because, the paint sold here is extremely expensive compared to almost anyplace else I've paint shopped. That said staff here are friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of paint and painting. The store is fully stocked with equally expensive paint related supplies. Any superstore could bust these store wide open on the price of paint if you are shopping price alone. For paint related service, knowledge, DYI support, color matching and quality this place has no equal.
