So far I’ve had one brief consult and two personal training sessions, and it’s been great working with Brandon! He’s friendly and personable, and obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. I look forward to continuing my workouts there!

Beautiful facility and easy to get to /park in Fells. Recently started both personal training and pilates: Both trainers spent time with me first to understand my goals and evaluate where I need to build strength to correct and help prevent injury. The sessions are personalized for me which has made it impactful in a short period of time. I highly recommend!

I just had a one on one with Kim doing silks to help me stretch. I've seen her for a little over a year. I have a rare condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which is generally pretty hard to treat but Kim is super knowledgeable and makes the sessions so far! Genuinely helps with my lower back pain too.

I was looking to start a personal training regimen, and I discovered Sanctuary Bodyworks. The combination of training and pilates with their team has been fantastic for me; the team combines an expertise in training and strengthening with a supportive and flexible approach that combines for results. I would recommend Sanctuary Bodyworks to anyone.

I’ve had 2 massages, 60 and 90 minutes, with Brian W and it is always such a fantastic experience. He is so respectful and professional and makes you feel very safe and well taken care of. Even small things like saying what he’s about to do before doing so puts you at ease. The room is very clean, serene, and comfortable. He even gives great advice on how to do easy and actionable movements at home to ease any aches that plague you regularly. Brian is a wonderfully thoughtful masseuse and I look forward to seeing him again soon!

I have been having a wonderful time at Sanctuary Body. Brandon and Kim are fantastic and they know exactly how to train and prepare my body. Working out with them is been a pleasure and certainly the movement education behind the practice allied to the specific feedbacks of my body make the big difference.Thanks for the excellent work

I highly recommend Sanctuary Body. I have done individual Pilates with Kim and training with Tony. I feel stronger, listened to, safe, and have had a ton of fun.

Highly recommend for a tailored fitness experience. Day 1 will involve a consult with in depth analysis of the posture...imbalances...strengths...and weaknesses. You'll go straight into a custom workout plan that addresses said imbalances and wrap up with personal recommendations on how to achieve your ideal body. Every session is 1-on-1. The Sanctuary itself is astounding, set in an old church. The trainers are all fantastic teachers and listeners. Once again,I highly recommend this gym.

I have had the most incredible time at this gym with Brandon and Kim. I feel like they have really listened to my goals and taught me effective exercises that feel really great for my body. It’s been lovely to have personal training sessions especially during the pandemic when I didn’t feel safe going to workout classes. They put a lot of care into sanitizing the gym and practicing COVID-19 safe practices.

Sanctuary is fantastic! I have been going to them since 2017 and have trained with Brandon, Pete, and Kim. My husband and I now do duets with Pete and it’s fantastic. He mixes up workout, is thoughtful about the whole body and open to modifications. He communicates with my PT to come up with best exercises to help my form. We are so so pleasure with our experience. It’s also a beautiful space.

I just started working out at Sanctuary about six weeks ago--my first workouts since COVID started. I've had several sessions with a personal trainer, plus a massage, and I'm looking forward to beginning Pilates. I've been really impressed with the staff--who are total pros and very knowledgeable--but have also appreciated their commitment to safety and health as we emerge from the pandemic. The space is beautiful, and while it isn't as capacious as some of the big gyms, I find myself preferring the quieter and more personalized experience.
