It’s a very decent grocery store in the city, my only complaint is that there are never enough shopping carts and the store seems to be understaffed.Every employee has been very nice and helpful.

Need of more cashiers as of now it is a lot better from my last visit 3/21/2023 visit the pharmacy everthing went smooth 1/26/2024 today was great visit the pharmacy great checkout great on a grade of 1to10 u get a 10 excellent

I have to agree with all the complaints I've read because I've had almost the same experiences. what I don't understand is how, despite the very nice responses by safeways management/customer service robots, there has been no change in this locations poor customer service. A business of entegrity, and popularity holds that status from taking action and following through with their commitment to improve. words carry no weight until they're put on a scale.

Horrible experience with delivery and the quality of their products. Some shopper ignored my substitution choice and I ended up being charged 3 times the original price for a product that was poor quality. My checking account is overdrawn due to this poor decision. It's been two months today since asking for a refund and nothing has happened. Hate this store. Albertsons really dropped the ball by allowing this fiasco to continue.

I am making a complaint about one Safeway pharmacy employee.She is black,wear glasses and HV braids.She is pharmacist.She need a class on customer service always HV nasty, jack up attitude.If she don't want to work with the public she need to stay home get another job.Next time I will inform corporate office.

I went to use their coinstar machine today as I had around $30 in spare change I wanted to use, and do a little grocery shopping, but the machine was broken so I left to go to Giant and use theirs. The security guard noticed me leaving nothing in my bag but the coin jar i bought in and although he "thought I stole something" didn't ask to see what was in my bag. I returned later and the security guard (5'7", dreads in a ponytail, light-skinned) starts clapping in my face and says that if I come out of their without a receipt, that I would be going to jail. I laughed in his face and told him that he had no grounds to arrest me because 1. I hadn't stolen anything and 2. hes not a police officer and cant toss anyone in jail. I go in, do my shopping, get my receipt, the entire time im in line with the cashier he is staring down at me. I go to leave, show him my receipt, and he makes me empty my bag infront of everybody so he can "look it over" as if the cashier didn't ring me up 5 seconds ago. Of course he didn't find anything, and didn't apologize at all for the threats or profiling. What a miserable person, he knew damn well I didn't steal anything but had the nerve to embarrass me in front of the store like that, and said I should be "respecting him" when I told him off for his behavior. He is not a cop, he couldn't pass the academy if he tried, where does he get off threatening to arrest, detain, or jail me?

Location is DISGUSTING. This opinion is not from a visitation experience but the nauseating effect comes from how this store handles their delivery customers. This Safeway gives allowances for overcharging, deception and fraudulent. THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT SEVERAL TIMES. Unfortunately due to becoming sick with covid multiple times there is a fear to be in grocery, clothing or shopping store environments. With that being said I have become very dependent on delivery services and within the past 30 days Safeway Freshpass has stolen from my bank account several times and when I called customer service there are nothing but lies being told in order to not giving my money back.

The lady at self check out on 09-14 around 4:00PM was SO rude! Even though she stood over my shoulder the whole time, she said that I had to complete my purchase before I could receive any bags! WHAT!?!? How am I supposed to even know many I need? Lol! It was very inconvenient as I had a lot of fragile items that I needed for my small business, so obviously I wasn’t in the mood to have any eggs or glass bottles broken! Her tone was very rude and snarky, and for some reason (probably because of her), managment and security started hovering over me when I went to Starbucks after check out. I can obviously tell she hates her job - but she acts like the customers are the ones who told her to work at Safeway. Maybe try something new?

This store needs an overhaul because there was nothing fresh. Produce. Spoiled. Bread expired. Staff was rude as well. But I'll be happy with having a store that updates their products and stocks their bags.

This store should get no stars. They have the worst customer service ever!! I only come here to Safeway because of convenience since I live across the street. If not I would never step foot in the store. Your cashiers are rude and act like you are bothering them when you go to their register. They ALL seem to be that way. Teach your staff better customer service skills
