August 2023 by Classy Lady
I was invited as a guest. Long story short, I purchased a package of classes. I've done spin before in different settings. I thought those classes were good until I went here. The environment and energy is an entire VIBE!

This is one of the most welcoming groups of people I've ever encountered. Everyone is cheering you on throughout class and encouraging each other. The instructors are fantastic and create a great atmosphere during class.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! If you’re serious about your exercise, stay far far far far far far away from this place!First, to qualify myself, I am a spin instructor of two different formats. I’m a former Division I college athlete, have run marathons, triathlons, and more.First, the instructor NEVER got on her bike on the stage. She just walked around barking the “choreography “. A quality exercise class will include modeling and proper instruction. I would have expected at least a minimum of exercise instruction to keep the participants safe. (Hips back over the saddle, weight in the balls of the feet, push over the top then engage the hamstrings and pull from the bottom of the pedal stroke… Etc.) And quite frankly, it is flat out dangerous to ride out of the saddle with lateral movement at 90 RPM!Had I not been an instructor, I would have absolutely walked out after the second song. Instead, I blocked out what was happening in the room and rode my own energetic and safe ride.Never again Rev, and I want my $34 back.

I absolutely love this place! All the instructors are so talented and just awesome! The customer service I’ve received has been extraordinary. It’s very hard to find because customer service these days and anytime I had an issue and sent an email, someone got back to me immediately and saw whatever problem I had. much appreciated and I will continue to go to this cycling gym!!!

We actually started going to Rev Barre in locust point 2 yrs ago. We still love & miss Noelle & Nicole! Then the dreaded virus. In June of this year me & my mini decided to give BH spin a whirl to get the dreaded cardio in and be around people again. Plus, it gave me some bonding time for my college bound girl. We both FELL IN LOVE! Never have I taken a class with an instructor we did not like or fall in love with; they're ALL amazing! Kelly, Sean, Gabby, Sahar, Eddie & Brittany. The front desk staff is AHMAZING! They're so cheery, kind & welcoming. It's a family for sure and although I miss my daughter being able to go, I still love going. Pure ENERGY! Also, when my daughter got sick and I had to take time off to take care of her, Rick was fantastic with putting my classes on hold and/or extending them. I'm so grateful we let go of our fear of spin and jumped in and I invite friends to join me for a class. DON'T wait - just go. You won't regret it! See you on the other side ;)

Can’t boast about this place enough. The staff, the instructors, the facility are all absolutely fantastic. I took my first class and this place left such an amazing impression, I signed up for 5 more. So far, I’ve only done a class with Claire and she was amazing. Her energy was out of this world and her enthusiasm really makes the class fun. This is the place to be. This is the place to cycle.

Tried the studio for the first time this morning and it was such a great experience. The staff is so nice and helpful and the instructor was fantastic. He made it really easy to follow along even as a beginner. You can hear him clearly over the music and the workout was amazing! Definitely going back!

From a physical standpoint, Rev has helped make me a faster, stronger athlete. Mentally, I have found myself embracing challenge with a greater sense of fortitude and determination. The workout gets me in the door, the inspiration from the instructors, particularly Barbara, keep me coming back. But every instructor is authentic and genuine. Plan to work hard no matter what but also know you'll have fun vibing out to some great playlists with some good people.

I have been to many different studios across the country and REV Cycle is by far superior. It feels like a community and everyone is super friendly. If I could give this place a million stars, I would! I also absolutely loved the instructors- Sean & Claire - they motivate, play great upbeat music and more importantly remind you to have fun and enjoy the ride. Def check this place out for an amazing sweat session and inviting environment. I will surely visit again the next time I’m in town. Thanks, SEATTLE

I am so thankful to have found RevCycle! Not only have I seen amazing physical results but my mental capabilities have grown to push myself closer to my goals than i ever thought was possible! I owe it to the instructors who are the reason why i continuously show up daily. I crave the energy in that room and always leave feeling accomplished. Rev has helped boost my confidence and has made me the best version of myself in every single area of my life. I have consistently been apart of this community for a year and feel so lucky to have found a place I love so much!

I went to my first REV Cycle class yesterday with Claire and it was AWESOME! I have done spin before, but hadn't been to a class in a loooong time. I have heard amazing things about this studio from friends, so I knew I had to give it a go for myself. Everyone from the people who greeted me at the front desk, to the instructors, to the people on the bikes with me, were so positive and welcoming. I will be going back to REV again soon!

If it's been a minute since you've been in a spin studio (like me), this has everything you're looking for! Think lit music, dramatic lighting, spinning to the beat of the music, tap backs, 4-corners -- basically a dance club filled with bikes. It's one of those classes where you are loving it but also looking at your watch every 5 minutes because you're so tired and sweaty. How the instructors talk without ever running out of breath and never getting off beat is beyond me. I also enjoyed the energy of the fellow riders. They were clearly fans of the studio. The bikes also get an A+ for how smooth, sturdy, and comfortable they are, but I sort of wish the screens were always on so I can see my resistance, cadence, and output continuously. You have to click a button every time to see the screen so it basically goes unused for most of class. You can use your own spin shoes, rent theirs for $3, or just use your own sneakers. There is a towel on every bike so no need to bring your own!One thing I did notice is that the instructor never gave ranges for resistance (not sure if this applies to all their classes). You were supposed to just add however much resistance you wanted based on whether it was a jog or a hill, etc. I like the flexibility but I also appreciate having a range so I have a sense of how much I should be challenging myself at the moment. Other pros: - Lockers, hair ties, ear plugs (for the very loud music), showers, cool lavender-infused towels at the end, etc. Everything you'd expect from a spin studio. - As a first-timer, I was able to rent the spin shoes for free. - Free beer/White Claws at the end of the Happy Ride (happy hour on Fridays)- Plenty of parking out front - A staff member's dog greeted everyone! I should note that you're allowed to not wear a mask when you're riding in the studio and that riders are not spaced out (almost every bike is taken). I was within arm's reach of my neighbor. So ride at your own risk/comfort level!

I’m still a beginner…only joined about two weeks ago, but I absolutely love these classes. I go to yoga and the gym, but I’ve become totally addicted to Rev Cycle. I was so nervous when I signed up but wanted to try something new. When I came to my first class, the staff taught me how to adjust my bike and clip in (all super confusing at first). My second class, another person in the studio saw me struggling and helped me with my bike. Now, I feel confident setting up, it just took some practice. Everyone I’ve met has been genuinely so nice. I feel really comfortable here.ALSO, Sean is the BEST. I have never had an instructor like him before. He is amazing. If you’re going to sign up for anyone’s class, sign up for his. He is so motivational, but not in a judgey-pushy way. Good vibes all around. 10/10

REV cycle is truly the best of the best! I have been a member of this studio for over 4 years and love all parts of it. The front desk staff is always super welcoming, the studio is clean, and the classes are always intense with the best instructors. Personally love Kelly, Jami, & Jaime! I couldn’t recommend REV more- give it a shot, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
