I stopped in this lovely shop the day before Mother's Day so I was expecting to get fleeced. However, the bouquets were very reasonably priced ($25-45 depending on your tastes). I went with the roses and carnations with an assist from the owner's sister. Fun fact: this is a family owned flower shop which has been here for 48 years! Anyway, if you want fresh flowers at a reasonable price while supporting a local Black owned business, Pearson's Florist is the move.

They did a phenomenal job on flowers we needed last minute for my mothers funeral. We bought 3 arrangements to standing in one large spray they were all fresh and beautiful. They were recommended to me by a friend and I'm happy they did.

Mr Vander Pearson at Pearson's Florist located at the corner of North Ave and Charles Street is awesome, the spirit in this shop made me forget all about being sad or in a funk considering I was there to pick out flowers for my Dads home going service, his own spirit was so friendly and calm, his displays and flowers around the shop are beautiful, I felt like I was sitting in the garden listening to music while I was there picking out these flowers..
