Mt. Washington Dry Cleaners surprised me by offering shoe repair services which were top notch! I brought in my Ferragamo WHITE leather sandals with missing heel covers and the staff did an excellent job at their repairs. Very reasonably priced shoe repair for $18. It looked very clean and like it was brand new! I definitely will be coming here for all my shoe repairs and more.

Excellent service consistently, been going her for 10 years for shirts and other dry cleaning. Tailoring is not cheap but worth it - have done hems, dress alterations and more. This is a family business worth supporting, so am surprised by the super negative reviews by slightly disgruntled customers. If you don't like the alteration price, then don't do it. It is a fine place with easy parking too. Support small family businesses!

I have had to throw away 4 new dress pants because the tailoring in this place is atrocious! Do not leave anything for alteration, if you intend to wear your clothes in public.

If you are person of color , I do not encourage you to go here. They are beyond rude and scam , I had to call my bank and go show proof that I pad for my dry cleaning , the owner swore me up and down that I didn’t pay , then once I showed proof he said “ok”. Place is very dirty as well.

We have been using this dry cleaner for about 10 years. They do all of our dry cleaning, alterations and specialty cleaning. They are very friendly and provide excellent services and even stayed open a little late for me one day when I needed to pick up dry cleaning for work travel.Services: Clothing alterations & repairs

They are very nice and sweet but very expensive. I took in a dress to turn into a skirt with a very simple easy repair and it cost twice and much as I paid for the dress! All I wanted was for them to cut a straight line to cut off the top part and then hem. The elastic was already there! This little job is going to take like 15 minutes to do. Ridiculous!

We moved from one home to another, and the antique kimono that my husband had bought me which had been hanging on the wall for a few years did not work in our new house. I'd always heard that it was good to clean fabric before storing it, so I took the kimono to Mt. Washington Cleaners. I remember standing there speaking with the gentleman...telling him that it wasn't really dirty, and as a result was on the fence about cleaning it. He said I should get it cleaned. I guess I was naive (okay d**** if you prefer) enough to think that they would know whether or not they were equipped to deal with an antique piece of clothing. When I went to pick it up I discovered that colors had bled all over the place. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. I started discussing it with the same man, showing him the damage, etc. We were on the verge of reaching a fair agreement for damages when a woman came out and basically struck down the deal. She then started emailing me photos of kimonos that she offered to buy to replace mine, which was ridiculous. I had spent ages pouring over sites looking at kimonos to choose the one my husband got me (an antique silk wedding kimono) and she was sending photos of modern, rather tacky kimonos that had nothing in common with my treasure. It took me forever, but I finally got around to suing the cleaners in small claims court. I didn't realize I didn't need to show up on some specified day, but I did, and the gentlemen, in front of the judge, agreed to the damages, signed a piece of paper, and said he'd put the check in the mail. Of course, he didn't put the check in the mail, so I've reopened the case and have asked the court to enforce the terms of the settlement. There were so many bad reviews of Mt. Washington Cleaners that I hadn't felt the need to add mine. But since they never bothered to put the check in the mail, I decided I needed to go ahead and add my voice to the others. I would definitely steer clear of this establishment for your cleaning needs.
