I would not recommend this place. My first time Experience was awful. mind you, this is my first Time there . I went to this location to get a Wig installed, and my wig was twisted on one side. I had to pay full price for Something that was looking bad. First, let me say, I’m not a picky person, but why I went and the lady was discriminating the wig I had. I had a lace front wig, but if she couldn’t do wig she could’ve said something. She Had no Makeup to put on the wig, then she had the nerves to say I Could Go to the store after and get some and put it on my self, but I have to pay you full price for something unfinished ? Not only that She didn’t have a tweezer to Plug the wig hair line, SMH, my wig came out a mess. Save y’all some time and find somewhere else to go. They are not Professional.

Found a new stylist and love her! Reached out to Makeya Tuesday night and got a response the next morning. Makeya was very accommodating and most of all professional! She slayed this 4C non relaxed hair and was not judgemental at all. I really connected with her and I can't wait to go back to get slayed again.

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK AFTER READING THIS! JUST LIKE THE OTHER REVIEW ABOUT DASIA THAT WAS A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE SO WAS MINE! I took my daughter to get her hair braided. Appointment was a 3 did not get in her chair until 6:30. You don't go to any other professional place whereby this is allowed accept in a Hospital Emergency Room. She did not care!! She had two clients booked at the same damn time-fine-but, figure this out to get them both in and out a decent time. We were there until 8:30. Then, let's not talk about my child's hair, it was a complete and total mess. The box braids were coming out the very next day! I went in her to fix them up and yet again, she had a client in the same time she told me to show up. She tried to fix my kid's hair-meanwhile, her client that was there at 1:45, only had two braids in her hair at 6 pm. She started doing my child's hair and made her wait. This is the kicker, she started to argue with me in the salon around other customers and I wasn't having it. This was completely unprofessional! I just could not believe it. Then, the owner got involved and Dasia lied the entire way through! By the end, the owner said she was going to re-do my child's hair again! I paid her $182 and it looked a mess! Well, she texted me to come in to do her hair! I text her back, left a voice message and HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER! She also added money on for length of braids without telling me that at the beginning. She is immature and inexperienced braider. I know I should have went back to the African lady who did a nice job! We just wanted to give her a try since our lady was booked! MS. OWNER, YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE A REFLECTION OF YOU! YOU OWN THE PLACE, AND YOU ARE ALLOWING HER TO SCREW PEOPLE OVER! THIS IS WHY BLACK BUSINESSES FAIL-CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE YOUR PRIORITY NOT RUNNING A BUSINESS JUST TO GET BY! LOOK AT HER REVIEW FROM 7/13. MY SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE! WHEN I AM SPENDING $200, I EXPECT THE HAIR TO BE RIGHT! NOT A GODDAMN MESS! JUST LIKE OTHER PROFESSIONALS ARE HELD TO A HIGH STANDARD SO SHOULD YOUR STYLIST! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SALON! I GUESS YALL RICH AND DON'T NEED CUSTOMERS! DASIA NEEDS TO GROW UP AND LEARN HER CRAFT FIRST BEFORE DOING ANYONE ELSE HAIR!! I hope you enjoy the money you made-KARMA IS A BEAST!!

I scheduled an appointment with Dasia recently for the next day due to the booking website allowing me to do so. I contacted Dasia via phone about this appointment and the style I wanted done (feed in braids) as well as the hair I needed. She failed to respond to my texts promptly as I was trying to prepare for this appointment due to it being so early so I wanted to cancel instead. Once I informed her that I wanted to cancel (due to the lack of communication) and me having an interview that appointment day, she then responded immediately saying that I could always reschedule since I already paid my deposit. However, I was informed that there would be a 60% cancellation fee although the booking site allowed me to book a day prior! I decided to keep my appointment. I arrived there on time and was washed/blow dried by whom I assumed was the stylist, Dasia. I asked when Dasia would arrive, the person said soon. An hour went by, and I texted Dasia about her coming, she didnt arrive til about 2 hours after my appointment time after she said she was around the corner. She was sitting outside the salon for an hour and I explained to her that I wanted to cancel due to the lack of communication and reminding her that I have an interview that day. She came in the salon and still did not touch my hair until 10-15 mins or so later, saying that my hair needed to be fully dried. She rushed while doing my hair, she began to accept walk ins in between my appointment and had an attitude so my ends were not done, my braids looked half done and I still ended up being extremely late to an interview that day. She also tried to overcharge me by trying to include the deposit in my balance when I already paid my deposit in order to even book with her! Days later I received an automated text message about rating my experience with her, I rated a zero. I soon began to receive mass calls from an unknown number repeatedly day after day that I have never received calls from before. I will never go back to MStyles Studio Salon and I would not recommend anyone going there, even for a quick appointment, you feel forced to go due to a 60% cancellation fee, and they already have your information on file. Save your money!

I was serviced by Dasia on 7/13 and my experience was awful! Dasia has poor time management, a bad attitude, and needs to learn that a deposit is something that goes to a service and a booking fee is something you keep in your pocket. Her IG says she has a $15 deposit and with any deposit you assume that goes towards your service...NO! That's just to book her. I got there at 11am and she did not start my hair until 2pm! I had so many plans that day I had to push back due to her poor time management skills. She did an ok job on my braids and I wasn't keeping them a long time so I was like whatever it's only going to be $45 since the website says $60 for the 5 braids. She tells me my total is $85 because the deposit is not included in the braids and it's $10 for small ones in between. Mind you, THAT WAS NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE. They added this information AFTER I fussed about It on the phone with the owner of the shop. FRAUD! After fussing about the deposit and telling her I would of never booked her if i knew the $15 wouldn't be included she finally lets me add It into and i send her money through cash app. She gets the owner to call me back to state I owe her $10 more for the small one. Why?? It's not on your website so I'm not paying for It. I send her the $10 anyway cause I know I'm never doing business with these people again and these scam artist charge my card $10 more! Dasia stated she would send the money back AND NEVER DID. I call the shop to get the money refunded and the owner calls me and puts Dasia on 3 way and she acts like sending me my money was an inconvenience to her and hangs up with me and the owner and never calls me back. As of now, I haven't received a call back or my money! This has been a nightmare and I suggest no one to do business with her!

Latoya is the absolute best stylist you would ever want to meet. She is very professional and she has a way of making you feel comfortable and beautiful at the same time. Check her out. You will not be disappointed. She is the absolute best. Not to mention that the atmosphere in the shop is great and in a great location.
