This hotel is pretty nice except for one major aspect. The in room air conditioners are pretty much trash. They do not cool the room, it just feels like a fan is running. This makes it hard to sleep since the room gets hot and humid and the ac doesn't do anything. I spoke to the front desk to have maintenance look at it and it's the same. Other people in my group mentioned the same issue. The bar is pretty good, especially Sam, the breakfast place is ok, the beds are ok, but I can't get past this anemic air conditioner after working 15 hours and sweating all day for the room to just feel like I don't want to be there. After this experience I would never consider booking here again, or having my company book me here.

This Hotel is in prime location to inner harbor and ballpark. However, getting around driving can be tedious. My sons recommended taking Uber which we did and it's better. The inner harbor is beautiful! We had a great time seeing the Phillies game down there.
Rooms: Rooms weren't bad at all. Just a tad dated. Electrical socket to plug coffee machine wasn't working. The bed was good. The pillows were awesome! We had nice partial views of the city.
Nearby activities: You have the Inner Harbor and the park close by! The Baltimore Aquarium is a close drive and has parking there.
Walkability: You can walk around during the day but would use caution during evening hours. Very pretty to see the city at night.

A very nice hotel. Rich in history. And a great location for downtown

Rooms are dark and dingy, and bathrooms are not updated. Couldn't get any service and the hotel restaurant after the baseball game. Parking cost almost more than my room! Look elsewhere.

The valet parking which is free to guest who have a patient in shock trauma which unfortunately we do but I'm unable to walk on my own so the parking made it much easier on my oldest daughter who has the responsibility of getting me around her daddy's health is not good the staff couldn't have been more accommodating thank you #Lord Baltimore

I made a reservation with the Lord Baltimore hotel while I attended a work related conference from June 23-28, 2024. This is a historical hotel in the downtown Baltimore area, and offers many accommodations for their guests. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have a hotel shuttle to/from the BWI Airport.
After catching a taxi (+/- $40) from BWI to the hotel, I was greeted by a friendly bellhop attendant. The front desk staff was also very professional, and pointed out some of the hotel accommodations, local dining options, etc. The hotel is old in age, but has been updated for handicapped guests.
Now upon entering my room on the other hand, I discovered that the rooms are definitely old and in need of some updates. The beds were comfortable, the WIFI was very strong, and the air-conditioning was working great. But as you will see in the photos, the maintenance and housekeeping staff need to report and repair some issues in the rooms.
But on a good note, this hotel has a gym, business center, large classrooms, tavern/bar, a seasonal roof top bar, and a bistro & bakery. This was very convenient for guests that don't feel comfortable exploring the robust downtown area or the Baltimore inner harbor area.

For the daily price, it could offer a little more. There are much cheaper and equivalent hotels nearby.
