Overall the daycare is great as far as location and if you have infants they provide everything: diapers, wipes & formula (unless your child requires special formula) The staff are generally friendly and I also like that they have their own app with a LIVE feed of the class so you can see your child in action vs. some centers that only send pictures. My main concerns were:1. Staff are NEVER on time. The center is supposed to open at 7AM but staff are never there and/or are just getting there. I never saw a job where the people can come when they want to. I know they probably had staggered start times but even then when I came "later" my children still had to wait in the lobby for their teacher.2. The food they serve is sub-par for the kids. Granted they can only serve what the state allows but breakfast one day was Carrot sticks & toast, and this is supposed to sustain them until lunch.3. The center itself could use a cosmetic upgrade with a bright & colorful paint job and newer toys for the kids. Legally they cant have toys that can't be wiped down or submerged in water, but the toys generally look like they were hand me downs from the 90's. They don't invest in getting things that will engage the kids, but expect them to listen & behave all day. For them to be under the umbrella of top named center franchises, this particular center seems to be neglected cosmetically. They also need to invest in a new entry system since their front door keypad kept going out. Some of the newer centers have key fobs.4. Not a BAD thing but just an observation - It would be nice if the staff maybe all wore LaPetite T-shirts or all wore certain color scrubs to identify who is who & which class they belong to. Like the infant class teachers could wear yellow, and the toddler teachers could wear red etc.5. Invest in hiring a front desk person to answer phones & assist with tours. The directors always seem flustered and I'm sure having someone at the front to assist with the day to day including opening & closing, tours & just making the place feel more organized would be beneficial.

We have been at La Petite for over 4 years, and it was great for about the first 3 years. The teachers were wonderful. Then there was an issue where the school closed suddenly for licensing reasons and the communication was poor, so we had to scramble for care. Things went downhill from there. Recently there has been an issue with a child (white skin, this will become pertinent later) who is hitting the other kids to the point where they are bruised or bleeding, one kid has been sent home once for bleeding after an attack. We've talked to the director multiple times but nothing is being done. She says nothing can be done unless the hitter's parents take some action. Meanwhile, a different kid (brown skin) who used to have a behavioral problem has a 1:1 teacher. I really worry about all of the messages this is sending my child, namely that hitting is something that we will just have to learn to live with if it's done by a white kid. Not a great message to send to anyone, but particularly little girls. This used to be a great place, but now I'm counting down the days until I can find an alternate situation that is safe and doesn't send my kid warped messages about the world.

I cannot say how much we LOVED this La Petite!! Everyone there is sooo amazing. Staff is very friendly and professional. This was my daughter’s first daycare. She went there from 3 months old to almost 16 months old. The ONLY reason we are leaving is because we are moving to Frederick. We are so sad to be leaving. My daughter absolutely loved her teachers, and had so much fun everyday she was there. Belinda is amazing to work with and is very accommodating with every request we made. She also helped make our first day the easiest she could (especially since it was during Covid). Ms. Byrd and Ms. Ciara were amazing at taking care of our daughter and making sure we got TONS of videos and pictures throughout the day. They were so loving and kind, I never had to worry about her while she was with them. She recently switched to a new class, and Mrs. V and Ms. Sarah didn’t disappoint either! They are very communicative and did a wonderful job helping our daughter master very important milestones. They are great at what they do! All the teachers are great, and every interaction I have is always very pleasant. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done, and the amazing job they did taking care of our daughter while my husband and I were at work. Side note: they also have spirit week, splash days, and other really fun activities to participate in. :) Just an overall fantastic daycare and I would recommend everyone bring their children there.

Teachers and staff are wonderful, loving, warm, and very experienced. Our experience in their infant care has been exceptionally positive. If you are reading this and COVID-19 is still a thing: 1.That sucks, this virus is the worst 2. La Petite has been super responsible and careful, and I have no concerns about sending my daughter here.

I love this place! It may not be the newest of facilities, but you’ll find the most engaged and warmest hearts around. They have been incredibly flexible, even before the pandemic. Belinda is responsive to my calls and wonderful with answering all the questions. I never questioned my son’s safety and the care he was receiving with his teacher. Even though he was just a 4 month old lump, he came home with a smile on his face and so tired that he started sleeping through the night on a regular basis!!

La Petite Academy of Baltimore has loving, professional teachers. My child LOVES to be there -- starts getting excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot.

My toddler has advanced so much through this day care. They are constantly learning new things and I can tell it has been an enjoyable environment for my son to be in. He loves all of his teachers and I can tell they enjoy him as well. They also provide meals as well as the diapers and wipes needed for infants. Staff answers any questions in a quick and knowledgeable manner.

My son was a drop In, I believe the staff took great care of my son because he was always happy when he got home. It was one young lady that always kept me updated about my son throughout the day and she was a great worker. But the rest of the staff seemed lazy and uninterested in my child. It was his first daycare experience so I know he was a lot of work but when I dropped him off the staff would complain they didn’t know he was coming and make me feel uncomfortable.

- No photo or video updates, you have to rely on their word.- Charging extra for many things and activities (you have no choice).- It's just a business and they don't really care about your child.- Overall, won't recommend. Just an okay place if you have no other options.
