My car felt like it had some loss of power for about a month or so. Wasn't too concerning at first and I wasn't due for an oil change for another 1000 miles so I decided to wait (oops).
Then my red light oil light started going off and on and then my car almost stopped running at one point. I started to panick and call around and no one could take me in.
This guy was able to take my car in same day and was able to get my car back up and running like new by the following day. Great communication throughout the entire process. Fair prices and quality work from JT and I would reccomend this place to anyone!

JT Automotive is awesome! Honest, reliable & timely. I was in Baltimore from out-of-state when my alternator died. They had my Toyota Camry repaired & running better than ever in less than 24 hours. Good people & great service. I lucked out going with their shop!

I went here today to get new brakes for my entire truck. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time. I brought my laptop and notebook for work thinking I was gonna be there for at least an hour to an hour and half but to my surprise they finished my entire truck in 10 to 15 minutes. They’re super fast, cost efficient and professional. I will definitely be coming back to them in the very near future for all of my auto repair work. Keep up the good work!!

omg!! firstly, this jt guy curses his employees out right in front of you, which is not only extremely uncomfortable to experience people being verbally abused live, but it's completely illegal. he called me after having my car for a few hours to change only brake pads and rotors and told me it fell off his lift and is not drive-able!! they are telling me my car is totaled!! he told me he was obviously not charging me for the brakes and rotors since clearly this is negligence, and my insurance company just told me they couldn't tow my car because he is holding my car hostage until he is paid for the brakes and roters!! have you ever heard anything like this before????

Dropped my car off with several issues to be diagnosed. Told them what I'd already tried and about recent work to the car. Called me back a few hours later to tell me my computer and timing chain are bad, but couldn't fford the work (it was a fair price quote I will admit). Got into the engine and the timing chain was perfectly fine. Also found that the throttle body was missing a bolt, the computer is fine. The guy didn't even look at my car, didn't even open the hood. If he would have bothered he'd have seen the missing bolt and known the issue. Car was in the same parking spot when I got back, seat in the same position, steering wheel same position, car wasn't touched. Charged me almost 200 bucks for a guess based on what little information I gave, but all they know I could be an idiot. Never again.

I had the best experience taking my car to JT Automotive service center for diagnosing the brake issues I was having. The employees were extremely helpful and provided a quick turn around on the results of the diagnosis. They went above and beyond in suggesting options to fix the situation. I would highly recommend this place and would go there again for any auto related issue. I probably won't ever need to come back here because my issues arose as I was driving north through Baltimore (I live in DC) but I highly recommend anyone in the Baltimore area to come to JT Automotive for all of their car needs.

Called in for a blown out clutch and a young lady answered the phone very kind and polite. This is where their customer service ends.Quoted me $1,800 for a clutch kit WITHOUT a fly wheel. With a fly wheel a little over 2k. They started taking the car apart on Tuesday 11/29 in the AM and by 0856 I called them and told them to stop because I got a cheaper price elsewhere.$1700 for EVERYTHING W/ FLYWHEEL. They said fine and would put the axles back on and charged $410 for their service.I paid them via cashappp in full. By the time my car was towed out of there, my car was in shambles....-Exhaust pipe hanging loose-Ball joints were blew out-Backing plates were pushed up against the rotors and were scratched and ruined- No exhaust shield- Struts were loose / barely on at allThis staff is either petty, spiteful or just negligent. NO excuse for such a high rated company to provide such POOR repairs.Service: Transmission repair

I called over the phone I was told a alternator is definitely the promblem when nothing changed they then said it the starter after paying 450 for the alternator and now my Bluetooth and other parts won’t work they had a 711 big gulp under my hood now function that worked b4 I brought it in now I can’t even listen to music anymore beware once they fix something at there shop there attitude change toward paying customers beware beware I have the same issue I brought it in forService: Auto maintenance

I had a small accident in Baltimore. I googled shops and this came up. I regret ever having taken my car there. just got off the phone with the dealership, my transmission is DEAD because these guys failed to reset the axle properly and now after I paid these guys $2,000 to fix my car, they caused damage that will be about $8,000. I am a lawyer and I plan to sue them if they do not pay for the repairs directly to the shop. Not only that, but I have the bill where they charged for a "new fender" part, and the fender was clearly the same one with the dent pulled, that is actually criminal fraud and I am going to work with the Baltimore State's Attorney's office to have the responsible employee charged criminally. The only way they can fix this is to pay for the Cadillac dealership to fix my car, otherwise 1. I am going to sue the hell out of them (fraud is an intentional tort, and there will be punitive damages), and 2. I am going to have someone incarcerated for fraud. I have proof from the dealership that whoever worked on the front left axle was the responsible party. This situation will not turn out well for the shop. The owner of the vehicle is my brother, and therefore I am going to bill my standard attorney fee rate of $400 per hour on this case. They will be responsible not just for the $8,000 repair, but also for $8,000 in attorney's fees, plus their own attorney's fees, plus the punitive damages (I am going to ask for $20,000). The cheapest way for JT Auto to resolve this would be to pay the Caddy dealership to repair my car. That will cost JT Auto $8,000. If they fight me, that will cost them between $20,000-36,000 (because of the punitive damages from the intentional fraud). If you're going to rip off a customer with fraudulent work and shoddy workmanship, you better make sure you know who you are ripping off.

I highly recommend JT Auto-- it's now my go-to auto shop! I first stopped in a couple months ago when my check engine light came on (everyone's worst nightmare!) and most recently for routine maintenance. I called up JT Auto as soon as my check engine light came on and I was connected with Lisa, who is an absolute gem! She was able to get me an appointment for the next day and walked me through the whole process. I had to come back more than once in between my meetings, and Lisa was very considerate and informed me that because they were experiencing a delay, she could stay open a little late so I could pick up my vehicle. The first time I checked in, she informed me that the wrong part was sent over, but Lisa expertly navigated calling the right folks to ensure that I got the right part! When picking up my car, JT was able to answer all my questions and recommended some helpful service tips that may save me from some grief in the future. The second time I went in was for routine maintenance and the whole JT Auto team was able to get me in and out ASAP! I can say with confidence that JT Auto is my go-to location for all my car needs. Thanks to the whole team for providing efficient, reliable service!
