The JCS staff are committed to excellence in all aspects of service, ranging from in-home care, to mental health care, to career guidance. The outstanding services provided are available to all members of the community, Jewish and non-Jewish.

Horrible customer service. Don’t talk to the guy Steve Land about anything involving rental assistance. He takes weeks to contact back and ask the same questions once he does contact back just to say he can’t help. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

This was a very valuable Mental Health training for professionals and laypersons. Our community needs the support of trained people as an aid in avoiding crisis situations with safety always in mind.

This organization is filled with dedicated, caring professionals who want to help people of all ages and backgrounds improve their lives and achieve their goals. They approach services as a partnership between the client and the professional, working together and each doing their part. They don't only serve people in the Jewish community; most of their services are available and accessible to people throughout the broader Baltimore metro area, and even beyond. This organization lives their mission and values, both with the people they serve and with their staff.

I used JCS when I still had my old name between 2011 and 2012. It was a waste of time. They weren't very helpful. My old JCS counselor was Tovah Jaffee. She kept trying to offer me a server position at North Oaks most likely because of my disability. And the fact not too many places would hire me. This is despite the fact that this place is not on a bus line. It also got to the point where she began to make mostly negative remarks about my mannerisms in coaching class. Based on what different instructors said. I should've never stayed with them for nearly a year. Especially when her assistant Gerschon told me how hard it would be to get a job the first day I met with them. My old DORS counselor and my father were there too. If I could turn back time, I would've never stayed with them for almost a year. I was 18/19 at the time, but was treated like a 4 year old. ?

I went to a professional development class at JCS for social workers today. Howard Resnick was the teacher and I thought he was wonderful!

I worked with JCS on several occasions and it was a complete waste of time. I wish I could give them minus zero.

I would not suggest this place for help or employment. The assistance is mostly only available for Jewish people though they make it sound like anyone can go there for assistance. Even the help they give Jewish people is limited. I also would not suggest employment at this place. The management does not train properly and the staff are micromanagers. You will be blamed and criticized for their lack of good training/management.

JCS Baltimore is filled with caring, hard-working people who are willing to go the extra mile to help people with career, education, family, and financial issues. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. In Owings Mills, they're open on Sundays. So, so grateful that JCS exists for anyone who cares to use their services. Can they work miracles? No...but they come close!

I loved doing the WOWI job assessment and learned a lot about my career options. The coach gave me a great analysis. The Career Center is awesome!

Jcs is not very helpful. They only help you if you get a job through them, if you get a job some other way they make your life hell. They keep calling you to see you about your new job, really they want to convince you to get another job through them.

In MY experience, unfortunately, the name speaks for itself. Undertones of the 1960"s Civil Rights Movement creating flashbacks that I read about in history class but, had never experienced... Although several decades later, the echos of separation seem apparent in my experiences. I did not want to believe the subtle but, obvious undertones... Stand at the corner of Park Heights and Northern Parkway (which is approx. one block away from the establishment itself) and see for yourself that there is a crystal clear dividing line... A separation between the two areas for many reasons and it may have something to do with values, pride religious or cultural differences. However, i believe that there is clearly a lack of communication, understanding and trust... MY experience definitely WAS NOT a very positive one and I see things very different now... These were MY experiences and observations from which Iwrite this review. In my opinion, if the title of this establishment at this location does not address you personally, you may want to proceed mindfully... I'm disheartened...
