Charged me a different price than listed on water and was stern about it to boot (claiming the size listed, 20oz - which showed a lower price still - never existed and that it was always 16.9. I guess the blatant lie was totally fine this whole time, @Hudson/Evian.)Either way, none of these are generally great stores and really encompass the airport experience we all dislike.

I just went to this place, and I asked for a sweet bread. The lady working at front didn't answer me when I asked, she replied to me are you centroAmerican! I didn't answer I walked away because I don't like problems. But I think that was racist. And it's not okay. It just happened 4:40pm 11/15/23And the worst part it's that is HispanicAnd I feel discrimination against me from another latino

“WTF?!?”“yeah Dad, what’s with that?”??♂️actually good for your typical airport newsstand. overpriced (but the airport charges outrageous rents) but the folks running the place were fast and friendly.

Extremely rude staff. August 13 at 9pm... Lady on tonight sooooo rude.made me wait while she giggled on her cell phone then Said purchases "card only" when I went to pay for a $2 water. I just asked why & said store should have a sign up . Her reply " because I said so. If you don't like it you can go to another store" . Great service. Think I'll definitely skip this next time

This is a convenient place for last minute requirements like phone chargers, usb cables, travel pillows, snacks or beverages to carry on (for those airlines that don't give you any free snacks), gift items, magazines( does anyone still read them?) , medicines. The place is clean and the staff is nice. This is right next to Spirit and United gates in concourse D (between gates D10 and D11).

If you've ever been to an airport then you've probably experienced a Hudson News or a store very similar. These stores are great if you've forgotten anything and need something that might be thought as somewhat essential. They have all sorts of reading material to make long flights a little less boring, they have ear buds and all sorts of souvenir type things in case you forgot to grab something for yourself or somebody else. They have a pretty good selection of snacks and drinks that you can grab for your flight as well. Especially during these COVID times where most airlines are now charging for the drink/snack. Keep in mind, they are handy, so that comes at a price. I'm not saying you'll have to get a second mortgage or anything, but you'll probably be thinking that gas station convenience stores are a steal of a deal after making a purchase from one of their many locations. This store overall was clean, well organized and the staff seemed to be pleasant with anyone that was checking out. If we were in this airport again, we'd probably pop in here if we had a layover, so we could kill a little time.

There are 9 locations in BWI for this handy print media store. Their marketing and target audience is well thought out. Even products available to entertain/bribe bored toddlers and children. Always captivating and somewhat overpriced. Stick to your budget. My go-to fast snack when in a hurry and useful time-killer when delayed. $9 albacore tuna wrap or sandwich is consistently available and beef jerky is a perfect protein snack. Have not gotten sick yet. This particular location was near Einstein Bagel Gate C4.

Hudson News is everywhere, well not everywhere but at every airport. They are in some train stations too and even the Empire State Building. They have 970 stores and they actually come in quite handy. This Hudson News is at Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). It is the worlds largest operator of newsstands at airports. They have anything and everything you made need. I remember back before cell phones became mini computers they carried more books, people don't read much anymore, not books anyway. Don't worry about their book and magazine section getting smaller they filled it up with other stuff. One thing they filled it up with is cell phone accessories, cases, earphones, cords all that stuff. They carry lots of local stuff. For example this store being in Baltimore they have Baltimore Raven. Baltimore Orioles and Maryland Terrapin stuff, tee shirts, key chains, glasses, mugs and stuff and the have Baltimore Maryland and Maryland stuff. What about junkie snacks? Oh yes, tons of that stuff, drinks, chips of all kinds, candy and candy bars, gum and other junk. Let's see mmm what else..... stuff animals, if you need a stuff animal don't worry they have those. I've purchased lots of things at Hudson News and I'm glad they are in just about every airport, they sure do come in handy.

I don't normally buy food and snacks at the airport based on the 200-300% markup. However, when my flight got delayed I decided I would get a candy bar to hold me over. That is when I met Auriel Pearson, probably one of the most confrontation, least professional cashiers (or manager as she claimed) I have ever encountered. When I brought my candy bar to the counter, Auriel (or Jabba as I think of her) rang it up for over double the displayed price. I asked, "How much is tax." "Fourteen cent," she responded, clearly not knowing the plural form of the word. When I pointed out the candy bar's clearly labeled cost of $1.69, Jabba.... I mean Auriel became confrontational. She told me that despite the cost being clearly labeled as $1.69, the bar cost over $3.00. When I stated that such labelling was quite deceptive and that the $1.69 label was the only one near the candy bars, she became even more hostile, telling me how she has a Masters in Criminal Justice and that she "knows the law." She then started questioning me about my education level, apparently assuming I held a lesser or no academic degree. Not wanting "little" Auriel Pearson, a minimum wage worker, to feel bad about her life choices and failure to leverage her "masters degree" into a meaningful career, I asked for my money back and departed the overpriced and poorly managed store.

Good selection of books and healthy snacks. Friendly, cheerful, helpful staff.Prices are high, but no higher than you expect at an airport terminal.

I'm not sure if this store is specific to BWI only or they are in other airports. It's a convenient little store that has all the essentials you need from books, snacks, earbuds, travel pillows, and anything else you may have forgotten to bring with you.Be mindful that the price for most items are much more expensive than that of a normal convenience store or Target. The employees are usually very friendly and efficient.
