1715 Thames St, Baltimore“We got some dinner here and had a fantastic time. Glad to see how they revitalized the building. Valet is extremely reasonably priced, especially with validated parking. I had one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time here. The only downside: it is 5-star, which means expensive; it can't be a guarantee you'll end up getting your money's worth since it sets such a high bar. The food was very good when it was good, although when it would miss it felt more disappointing. We'll have to come back for a stay in the rooms to give this a more fair review, though.”

“Best stay of my whole life. Beautiful hotel. I had a 16th floor room with view of harbor. It was the most wonderful space. My only complaint is I could hear everyone who got off the elevator and went down the hall. I attended a conference here and the whole facility is wonderful.”

411 S Central Ave, Baltimore“Loved the room but the front desk service wins the day for us. So kind and helpful. Smiles that I will remember forever. A credit to the management for setting up the workers to be successful. I will definitely go again.
Walkability: In the middle of little Italy. Walking distance to many fine dining establishments like La Scala.”
“My Mom and I went to the hotels restaurant for dinner and on our way out I wanted to check out the hotel. We were greeted by the head of security Chris, who was absolutely delightful. He ended up taking us on a tour of the hotel which is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I studied Interior Design at UM and the attention to detail that was put into the refurbishment, while integrating original materials/architecture with modern pieces was EXQUISITE! We ran into some of the other staff on property who were kind and welcoming and I will absolutely be spending my next staycation at this hotel... Side-note the restaurant was FANTASTIC as well!”
“Within walking distance from the harbor, and attractions there.
Nearby activities: Inner harbor across from this property.
Walkability: Can walk to other spots around the harbor.”
“This was the cleanest affordable hotel I have ever been to. It even smelled good - what kind of hotel and hotel room smells good? I was shot super impressed. Nice, modern setup and a decent continental breakfast in the morning. I will absolutely be back and can't say enough good things about this place.”

17 Light St, Baltimore“The rooms here are spacious and clean. I didn't care for the shower head, but that's just me. The check in/out staff were attentive and helpful. The food at the restaurant is nothing to write home about, but the staff there were great! The ladies tending the bar were busy, but still fun. It's about a ten minute walk to the harbor. Check them out!”

20 W Baltimore St, Baltimore“This Hotel is in prime location to inner harbor and ballpark. However, getting around driving can be tedious. My sons recommended taking Uber which we did and it's better. The inner harbor is beautiful! We had a great time seeing the Phillies game down there.
Rooms: Rooms weren't bad at all. Just a tad dated. Electrical socket to plug coffee machine wasn't working. The bed was good. The pillows were awesome! We had nice partial views of the city.
Nearby activities: You have the Inner Harbor and the park close by! The Baltimore Aquarium is a close drive and has parking there.
Walkability: You can walk around during the day but would use caution during evening hours. Very pretty to see the city at night.”
“The traffic getting in to this place was horrendous, but certainly understandable, given this port is the launching point for many cruises. The crew was fantastic though, directing everyone to the correct places they needed to be for parking, where to enter for boarding. Very orderly.”
“Location: The location is great if you are visiting the harbor or the baltimore convention center. It is connected by skybridge to both so you can avoid walking on the roads at night
Service: The hotel was very accomodating for me. I asked for a couple of changes and they were able to do it. Its also a large hotel and staff is very pleasant. There was housekeeping everyday so that was great as well.
Room: Room is standard size. My first room has great AC but the AC was a bit wonky in the second room but it was not a great problem.”
“The staff was great. Our mom was not feeling well from the drive when we got there. Ms. Noel changed our room closer to the elevator so she would not have to walk as far. Derrick even went as far as loading our luggage into the car. Top notch place to stay.
Rooms: Very nice
Nearby activities: Aquarium was nice
Walkability: Lots of nice areas to walk.
Food and drinks: Within walking distance
Noteworthy details: Overall great experience”

5625 O'Donnell St, Baltimore“The establishment is located near the inner harbor adjacent to a major freeway. Restaurants and other sites are 5 to 10 minutes drive and close to some sights. Found the facility to be relatively clean and well maintained. Also found staff to be friendly and courteous.”
“Never have an issue. I've probably stayed in every motel on pulaski and besides the Colonial hotel the carlton is by far the best choice. No bugs no bs my only complaint is they didn't give us no wash clothes. ?”

101 S President St, Baltimore“I saw on a couple of the most recent reviews that some are irritated with the hotel open to the general public on their website but later finding out that it's not open to the general public. But I do want to say from my own personal experience that this place is a true God send. It is now used as a women's shelter that goes above and beyond to help you get everything you need help with getting and I mean everything you need to get it for you. I now have a full time job and ready to get promoted to a supervisor. I I was recently approved for rapid re-housing voucher and I go look at 2 two bedroom apartments on Tuesday. Great things are happening for me and I'm starting to enjoy my life, starting to feel like I'm in abetter mood more often, and I'm honestly just sooooooo freaking excited!!!!! They also don't refuse women who have severe mental health issues and they do everything they can to help those women just as much as they help people without mental health is. They treat everyone as an individual and don't look down on any of us or treat ones that need more help than others and treat everyone equal.”

1701 Russell St, Baltimore“This isn’t a holiday inn any longer. It is a homeless shelter for men. It’s called the times organization and it is a absolutely wonderful place to get your life in order. They provide you with resources to get you permanently off the streets and into a forever home. This is the Mayors innovative and it is absolutely working one little bit at a time. Thank you BALTIMORE CITY for showing that you care about your homeless population”

888 S Broadway, Baltimore“What can I say, a truly unique historic inn. excellent location, I recommend parking behind it if you are by car. Room not exactly clean in terms of linen, check carefully first. For the rest, friendly and smiling staff. The breakfast (5th floor) included is very simple, but it's there. Noteworthy is the terrace on the 5th floor, you exit from the breakfast room, very beautiful view.”

110 W North Ave, Baltimore“There is a CASH-ONLY DEPOSIT (for me, $50) and their ATM charges $4.99 per transaction.
Going into my stay I had low expectations, but because of that I was pleasantly surprised.
Location: as far as neighborhoods go, it's by no means a nice one, but even at around 10p I felt fine walking around. I'm a guy who lives in a city with plenty of less savory neighborhoods, so I definitely have a higher tolerance than many, but it really felt fine.
Room: there is no mini fridge. Lights shine directly into the room from either side, but curtains were more than sufficient - just no waking up to any morning light. The bed was firm, but that's my ideal bed. No bed bugs, and the sheets were clean and stain free.
Service: check-in was from a tiny closed off closet, basically. As mentioned, there's a CASH-ONLY deposit, and when I said I was checking in, the person at the counter started to ring me up for a new room (at a $90/night rate - cheaper to book online!) despite me saying I was checking in, not looking to book a room. Got it sorted out though.
Overall: I'd stay here again, though given there are plenty of hotels in the city center for not all that much more per night, it'd not be a strong preference. I wouldn't recommend my family stay here even if it was to be close to the train station, but for me it was a great choice.”

“Linda is the best hostess. She made us all feel at home and shared the interesting history of the home. She knows all about Baltimore and was an excellent source of what to do in the area. Breakfast was delicious each morning. She always had homemade cookies, tea bags and hot water and a pitcher of ice water for us. There is also a keurig and k-cups, ice maker and mini frig for the guests. The home has all the charm of its era plus all the modern conveniences. I will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.”
